Granny, great to see you not locked out!!!!!!

hope your meds are all balanced out and not making you feel like a zombie anymore!! hows your hubby been healing? does he still have any pain? he's popped in my brain a couple times over the past week...

sooooo,,, i would like your help.. i never gave up on the hydro or the plan to scrog. so this is where i'm at now... i topped them ( it was more than four nodes though) and then i topped those tops after the second node. they've been growing a couple weeks now since i did that. right now they're up to the height of of the screen, i have a small green mark on the wall where they need to be before i lower the screen.. almost like a carnival sign that they must be this tall to ride this ride!!!! haha

if you get some free time i'd love to hear your opinion/concerns/suggestions on what i need to do next?

I’m currently off all the meds except one. So, I’m feeling pretty fine. The Hubby is doing great!
Your limbs need to be 6-8” taller than your table top. Pushing them beneath the table is what opens the plant up. You need to do some serious defoliation.
I will be going to flower in a couple of weeks, I can do a vid if you like.

I'd be Scrogging them out, bushy enough, lay a trellis, fill ALL the squares then flip.

Careful with that, I made a long password on my tablet and what a pain typing it in every time, then there are the typos, after 2-3-4 trys long passwords get old fast. Best one I ever had was IFive, for yahoo way back when it was all new. I was banned from there about 20 years ago for something and never went back. Now sites want a passkey??? I think I'd need a Cell phone to participate. fkem! if that's the case. I don't do me no cell phones!

I new that, it was a side note, I'm old but not that old....yet...having more and more grey moments slip into my day but that's where my wife comes in handy, I forget but at least sometimes she remember. It can be sad though, like going to the store for cat food and getting home with everything but, with 2 brains we still slip up.

What meet is this? I got a couple links to keep track of NY meets but got nothing local to Albany on the 20th I can find.
I think the Adirondack Nationals are this weekend in Lake George.
I love cruising through there~! Have not missed a year since getting the Crossfire, so maybe 8+ now.
Definitely taking the Prowler there on Saturday.
It is usually a mad house, and the main strip will be painted black Sunday morning if not by Saturday.
Might cruise through Friday night also.
Got to watch the weather.

People really enjoy seeing the prowler. I went to a Porsche meet at the auto museum in Saratoga Park and caught a "professional photographer" snapping pics of the Prowler.:cool:

A friend of my dads is putting it on at the old flea market in Berne by the Babbling Brook restaurant.
 
Went to Lake George village last night after working on the lake and seeing some cars were up early.
Fairly wild last night for a Wednesday. Watched a Mustang snap a rear wheel off doing a burn out and it ended up flying across the street hitting another car~! People are badly behaved in large groups and the size of group just keeps growing~!

Lots a wild and mild cars last night. ;roc

Gmorning Granny, Traveling is fun but home is where we sleep the best. I sometimes think the planning of the adventure is as much of a kick as doing it. Road trip planning on long trips into the unknown was more of an adventure before google maps and all. Shiiiit you can virtual drive from your door to mine now across borders, states provinces...anyways welcome back

Yes indeed. I love the trip itself. The Hubby usually drives, I kick back, enjoy a smoke and then gawk as we go down the road. The hotels, not so much enjoyment for me. I’m a germaphobe and hotels freak me out. An entire routine every single time. First in, tear the beds apart looking for bugs..from there I’m spraying the remote, light switches and ac heating units with Lysol..then I hear everything going on for three floors. So, I just take the good with the bad, an enjoy the best I can.

So with that said, I had made up my mind to try and lighten up on that for this trip and give the Hubby a break. I did well too. No “get over” no “WTF are you doing “ no “whyyyy did you do that“ Only one, “why are we running 61 on a perfectly good 70mph highway?”
However, the car (lmao) a Murano called him straight out! It questioned his alertness and asked if he needed a break! Ohhhh lmaoooo! I had no idea it even did that!
Also tells me I need to go back to side seat driving! When the car itself calls out the driver….

I showed the 85 year old farmer I coon hunt with the gps feature on his phone the other day.changed his life. Last week when I got in the truck he says "man that old bity on the phone gets super upset when I go the wrong way...

this is exactly why i have a vey loud stereo system!!!! i just look over and give the huh? look.. drives her insane!!!! hehehehe :devilish:
 
Hey Gmorning Granny and all, I came upon this on another site talking about grafting males to females and harvesting the seeds. Have any of you tried grafting cannabis? Sounds interesting. Or grafting different strains onto 1 mother for cloning? This is a pic of a male and fem grafted. 1757170882174.png

that sounds just crazy!!! would be a fun project!!! an old timer taught me how to graft apple tree, but that's all i ever did.

i see now they have fancy cutting tools that take all the craftmanship out of it. i wonder if they're better?

Good Morning Granny, i really like this doing all the deeds on one day. to me it sounds like your measurements that you use come from experience and i rally like how it takes the guess or the opinion out of it if you will.. like most scrogs i've read about have been a veg under screen until a certain percentage is filled.. i like the sound of your way better, no guessing on percentages. just grow the plant to this said height and then squash n flip and if it goes the way it should the screen will be filled after stretch. am i understanding that correctly?

on the subject of measurements i just wanted to verify because it's been a while... do you set your screen about 13"-15" above the base of the plant? and your screen gets lowered when the plants are about 19"-23" tall? am i understanding that one correctly?

i'm getting close.. plants are growing fast!!!

will you still be able to shoot me a video of how you squash?

I think grafting is a pretty simple procedure. My Grandmother had an apple tree with 5-6 different apples on it from Grafting. For those keeping mothers it would save space and nutes much better than keeping single moms. I'd need another 3x3 to play that game and I don't really have the space but it sure sounds interesting

I’d be happy to do a vid for you. I’m about a week out. For my predominantly Indicas the table is 18” tall, for my Sativa/Hybrids my table is 24” tall.
Catch ya when I get home this evening to answer your questions!

. It really would be a fun project wouldn't it. Its an I could do that sorta thing. I'd need to do some re configuring to fit another small tent but its kind of an exciting little experiment. To graft on a few different similar strains then flower her. Like into a manifold with different breeds.

ive seen 7 different female strains grafted to 1 main female strain., or 6 to 1, for 7-in-1 strains, it worked. different buds all over plant lol
