I paid $4.99 just on Tuesday.broke 70° today at the luv shack!!!
heating fuel is at $3.90 a gallon right now!!! yikes!!!!

Ive spent just over 600 dollars in heat for the season so far, I really cant even complain, this new pellet stove is the best purchase ive made lol
Yeah the 3 weeks of straight below 0 weather was brutal and my stove didnt shut off but it still did well, 24-40hrs on 1 bag depending on temp.thinking on getting a small one this summer to supplement with on frigid days. this was our coldest winter a very long time. and our most expensive.

If i had the option to have a wood stove I would but where im at now I can not.it's either pellet or just a plain wood stove or kero.. a wood stove would be my cheapest route, i already own one and a chimney is already in place from an old one years ago. the downside is the PITA of gathering/cutting/storing wood. but mostly free aside from some chainsaw fuel and upkeep.

When I move im putting a woodstove and my pellet stove in the new place, wood will be for extra cold nights and power outages
My parents neighbor had one, he burned his property clear out of wood, now hes got a pellet stove lolmy neighbor has one of those outdoor woodstoves.. man those things are the tits!!!!
