Hey there Mister! Happy to see you! Happy to have you here too. Lots of great folks here. No games, no bullshit, no bullying…just a great bunch of Menz in general.
I’m still shooting when I can. I’ve been down for over a year now, and fight like hell to regain. I’m just staying positive.

So been almost two months in New job, going very well. Really blessed...

I was just about to give up on the job search, i would get offers, then rescinded letters after background check

Now I'm in and they love me and i am loving this role, it's just crazy to be introduced as the "analyst"... Just hard to take in sometimes that the pothead growing weed is the one crunching the numbers lol

I signed myself for a crazy project I'm doing now... I'm designing and building our own yard management system through Microsoft power apps that will replace our piece of paper for yard checks. Old process is a flat excel sheet for yard checks for 300 trailer slots on the yard, new process will be my best at some real software to save the company thousands by designing it in house

Anyways, thanks for all the support everyone, wanted to give an update

So hopefully we kind of warm up a little here.
Had two mornings in a row it was 51f here and in the 40s all around me. Foggy to boot.
Seems a little early even looking at last 10-25 years weather history for my area.

We just cooled down over night. Finally got some good rain. All rain barrels were empty. Now they are full along with jugs and buckets.

Finally a decent cool day here. We’ve been popping a hundred for over two weeks now. Of course as soon as the heat wave started our central unit went down. I had a window unit in the she shed and we bought a tower ac, so at least we have two rooms cool. The upstairs den and the bedroom. Bought a new Rheem unit two weeks ago and still waiting on installation. Maybe this week.
I found a gelato mix at the dispensary it’s really helping with my appetite. Still looking for just a straight gelato strain. Forty freaking dollars an eighth! Worked out well though as I had won a fifty percent off dot..with my medical discount and that I got a half for 26.00!

Son buys this series. He got me into reading them. We’re waiting on the next release now.

Friday evening I went outside about 10:30 to bring in David’s cat. She was sitting at the edge of the porch watching something I could not yet see. So I stood til my sight adjusted to nighttime. Then I saw it. Another cat, one with very pointy Egyptian ears. I called here Kitty Kitty..and it came toward us. At this point I believe it’s a neighbors cat. Not afraid, coming closer as I called and then..the light hit it.
Um, this is not a cat, it’s a grey fox and it’s coming closer! Something wayyyyy off about this.
Of course rabid ran through my mind. It’s now within ten feet of me.
As soon as I began yelling and waving my arms, it stopped turned another direction and ran like the wind.
Crazy, just crazy..but it sure was beautiful and tiny.
Imma quit going outside at night…
This showed up Saturday morning not just one grey fox but her two babies, broad daylight less than 25’ from me. Snagging persimmons. Seems we have some new critters round here..IMG_3960.jpeg

We have had mornings it was 50 degrees here and in the fourties close enough.
Lake up north has recorded temps in the 30's already~!
Last big race of the season yesterday [ Travers ] makes it really feel like end of summer is close.
