Happy Day
I was watching my fav Sci-fi movie "The Thing" 1982 version by John Carpenter.
Checked the mail and whatta ya kno, my seeds from Quebec Cannabus seeds came in.
5 seeds each
Cinderella 99
QC LSD
Ghost Train Haze
And 2 Free Strains
3 QC White
5 Fruity OG Kush
Now I need to decide and start to germ them.
I practiced on 5 seeds from last grow.
Put in glass of pure water for 18 hrs
Dunked em till they sank after 4 hrs
Put in damp paper towel in saucer covered with another.
Tried to keep temp at or around 70-72 but might have got to to warm at one point.
It's only been 24 hrs so guess I'll find out in the next day or so. I think I've lost faith in this way tho.
Might try soil for next test cause that seems to work best for me.
Just need to keep temp steady and warm for that method.
I'm using some seed starting soil for this
I pre watered to let the moisure soak in as it is a floaty kind of soil.
I think I'll pop in a couple of seeds in and put it by the lil seed starter grow thing
which runs on auto 15 hrs on and then 9 off and see how that works.
I can only hope 4 of 5 seeds I choose will pop.


The White Cave is done!
I'm sure there will be some slight adjustments.
I have 6-7 wks to get it together with my Auto Pot system.
Now I'm concentrating on a lil cleaning and organizing the rest of the cellar.
Amazing how much junk accumilates down there.

Hey nice line up, I just checked lineage of those strains and the only indica is the QCwhite the rest are high sativa blends, meaning the white is the odd man out and will grow and harvest differently. Putting it in with the Cinderella, Ghost train or the LSD you'll get different heights and it'll be hard to keep a level canopy. I find the sativa's stretch so much its hard to stop them from getting too close to the lights.

Nice work on your room too, you'll be happy with a full crop in there having a smoke on a cold winters day down in your tropical green space.

I have 7 babies doing very well, I just transplanted them into 3/4 gal pots, another 2 weeks they'll go into the auto pots again and I'll be up and running again, now there's not a lot to do with them. Just water feed and let em grow.

If the White sparkles anything like the Blue its a keeper, its all I'm smoking these days, I got a lb off 3 Blue and its a real nice smooth tasty smoke. That Cinderella99 scares me with so many hairs growing from her in the pics. I've had trouble with a few sativa's that grew great but dried all airy and harsh to smoke.

My only real success with sativa's has been the Sour D that you had troubles with.....go figure eh

I was going by THC content, sometimes I wonder about the accuracy of those pic's so discounted them pretty much.

After looking at that and from what you say about the blue smoke I change my mind again lol
LSD still looks pretty good to me but so does blue and white.
I am sticking to 4 pots so might be blue and white this time.
Maybe 2 blue, 1 white and 1 lsd So I will start soaking the seeds tonight
put them in paper towels tomorrow and hope for the best.
This is a real late start for me so I better get on it.

Put In the cave overnight, I am regulating the tenp in the room to see if it stays constent.
It does, a balmy 72 degrees in the room but the plate felt cold so brought them upstairs to my room.
Put them on a mat, which I used for practice seeds and worked good.
I will keep a close watch on temps till I see it's ok.
Just have to wait it out.

Hey, an observation is the seeds that popped are on drier paper than the one that didn't. when I pop seeds I fold a paper towel up from its full size to a folded 2" wallet. I saturate it in my water then squeeze every single drop out of it then put the seeds in the middle of the pad and fold it over and put it in a small cup with a lid . I have these 2" plastic cups with lids I use per strain then mix them up changing pots....lol...

My 7 now I forgot to keep track which was which when I transplanted. 2 I know for sure but 5 are??? I digress...lol ...

once I have them in the cups 2 days later they're pop with 1" tails......very few are failing if they haven't popped for me in 2 days they don't seem to make it.

I have a heating pad without a controller so I use a plate on top of the heat pad and put my little cups on the plate with a spacer between the plate and my cup so They don't cook but get the warmth off the heating pad.

I have to clean up all my pots and wash the copper bags I got for the bottom. I've been in a semi regular cycle of cleaning my chiller since the last run. I had all caked up crap in it the has been difficult to unlodge from the inside, bleach, vinegar, water, bleach, epsom salts, water...lol...

yesterday I had the pump running water through it using my reservoir just looping water through the coils and I went up for lunch, a bit later I hear a weird sound so I rush down and my water was going onto the floor and the pump was sucking the remaining water out of the reservoir making the weird sound so I shut it off with 3 gallons of water on the floor....lol...sometimes I wonder what the fk I'm thinking...or lack there of. but I didn't attach the return line to the reservoir so it just kicked its self out of the tank and spewed the water out......lunch time...lol

Maybe a lil bit wetter it was but not by enough to cause it not to pop.

Yes I have a heat controller for my heat mat but it works like shit and I have to monitor it.
I use a saucer plate also but put a magazine under it and open it to adjust the temp to the plate.
If to cold I turn a few pages so less pages under the saucer gets it warmer lol crazy shit.
I also put a thermometer between the 2 saucers to check temp inside.
Soon as this LSD seed gets into dirt I will put the heating pad under the solo cups to keep the dirt warm.
Oh ya, the practice seeds in the solo cups did sprout, all 4 !!
I pulled them out and stuck in my germed seeds since I now know the dirt is good to use.
I am currently using the oil heater to heat the cave room to a steady 73 degrees.
The heat stays in the room so it pretty tight in there.
Took out the toy seed starter and turned on the fluorescent light only 2 bulbs of the 4.
We rollin' now!

Everything I see is a target at the thrift stores lol if they are cheap enough.
Never seem to have time for it or it's to hot or cold or rainy.
Warm as heck here with temps in the mid 70's
Might be the last day of it tho cause some artic air is moving this way from Canada.
Might get frost later this week too.

Hey nice, we need a licence, a police check and pass a firearms safety course before we can have those here now. I looked at getting a pellet gun last year to shoot rats.....nope, You know we are not allowed Kevlar vest either, only police and security personnel can own them.

Hey a rule of thumb is no domes over seeds, only clones get domed, Too much humidity can fk them up early on and they can rot quickly being too moist.....or some sht like that....I'm a bit of a parrot.

I got this one its a Sig Sauer MPX .177 semi auto Scary gun lol
I thought New York had a law about red or orange on the end of the barrel but Pyramid Air sells these
and some of the guns are .30, .45, and even .50 cal Pricey as heck tho


It's a bad azz gun but only a .177 I usually only buy .22 cal pellet guns.
30 round mag and can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.
It's CO2, 88 or 90 gr or PCP operated. I have the tank and manual pump (looks like a bycycle pump) for PCP but
what a pain pumping it up. I counted and it was about 200 pumps

Sprouts from the random seeds I yanked out. These are the seeds that germinated with a tail I put in place of those, they didn’t sprout up yet.

Moved the 480w driver to the room, makes sense since it's an extra heat source.
Built a shelf on the un-even window ledge for it.
Room stays at 75 degrees give or take a degree.
Outside the room it's bout 68 degrees.
Anxious to set up the AP's n tank.
Going to be using the same liquid fert's I been using.
Dyna Gro products, since I have already purchsed them.
I'd like to change, next grow, to something better maybe Foop?

a drop of water on the shell will help soften it, I'll do it 2-3 times a day if its not wanting to come off. just 1 drop at a time

LSD's Helmet's off but she not unfolded yet.
Other than that it's a 100% successful germination
which is rare for me

Outside GH plants are getting chopped any day.
Frost for tonight and mid 30's tomorrow.
Oil heater keeps it 50-55 in the GH with a small stationary fan going
Still I see white spots from the other day when it rained on em.
Then going into the GH wet cause some mold spots on the big one.
I thought the heater would evaporate the moisture on the leaves but
guess I didn't set the temp high enough for that.
Unless I get some kind of automated curtains to shield the plants from
the city lights I won't be doing this agian lol.
Getting cold and damp/wet out in the mornings, shiver me timbers.

2 plants are the same the other is def dif

I'll be lucky to get an half ounce dry, hope it smokes good for the effort I put in.

Idk but trimming them tells me alot about what I got.
Seems to me they started to re-veg a bit.
lots of leafy stuff but it is guewy sticky.
I lite up a bud pulled off a week ago cause it looked fried.
Too much KoolBloom I guess.
I inhaled the smoke curling up from the bud and
I was suprised at how mild and smooth it was, guess I'll find out by the end of the month.
Drying room temp/hummy is 66/55 with oc fan going.

Cave grow is going along and I'm tweeking it out.
74 degrees and 45% so have to add a steamer in there.
All 4 sprouts are doing well in their solo's.

Using Dyna Gro products atm but Thinking about a change.
It will cost me but worth it if I get better results.

I lite up a bud pulled off a week ago cause it looked fried.
Too much KoolBloom I guess.
I inhaled the smoke curling up from the bud and
I was suprised at how mild and smooth it was, guess I'll find out by the end of the month.
Drying room temp/hummy is 66/55 with oc fan going.

Cave grow is going along and I'm tweeking it out.

GH isn't free of issues, I get some beige gritty build up that will need to get cleaned at least once a month. It caked throughout my res, lines and chiller, I'm not sure what that's about I shouda taken some pics but It was a gross mess that'll need more attending to this run. I'm about 1 week away from putting them in the pots, all my babies are doing well.

Its nice you were able to grow through October, Ya never know about our northern fall weather if were going to get sun or fog and rain. Its been warm here for Nov 1st 15c ...60ish F...we didn't get that some days last summer 11C today.

A cat stand off, we get that a lot too, if it wasn't for our cats we'd have no fun in our home. With the antics of our boys we get a lot of laughter...

Still good for growing outside as the weather here it good till end of Nov. usually
Glad I'm done with it and won't do another summer grow unless I get an automatic curtain.

I forgot how easy they are to have as pets and they are fun!

9 days in and there is a problem, lol.
I got this problem with one of the plants.
I have 2 Blues growing and they don't look like each other.
So something went wrong and not quite sure what to do.
I almost feel like killing it and putting in a new seed with new dirt and start over with that one Blue.
I flushed it, thinking it might be the soil but all others are doing super good.

I had a Grunts recently look shaky for almost 2 weeks, now at 5 weeks its fine and its caught up to the others. I didn't think it would make it so I started another now I've 1 too many plants. I'll have to keep her growing in veg another 2 months plus before I can flower her. I'll start 5 more once I get this current group in my flower tent

Could not tell which plant was which so put it all together for a mixed blend.
Too much work, but if I can figure out how to automate the Green House to cover at night and
pull back in the morning I could have a huge crop out there.

The plants in the cave are doing well and will get tranfered to bigger pots in a few days.
I go by 2 weeks method of MiMeds grow in which he tranfered every 2 weeks till the final pot.
No food yet but with them getting new digs soon they should be ok.
I turned on all 4 bulbs on the T5 and they are looking healthy except that one but she's coming along.

Thx Bandit but found some on another site Quebec seeds had some for $55 for 5 and giving me a 20% discount too!
Then I went and did it
I brought the GTH and 2 other packs of 5
Quebec LSD and Cinderella 99 C99 all feminized.
Dam if I will tell my wife about that lol
I'm a dead man but but but 20% off!!

I ordered mine from there too so far so good. I ordered some for a friend to, he also chose the lsd

With the pots we're using mixing 4 strains in 4 pots that are all getting the same food might make things more challenging. I know I fried a Dosido last run while the Sour D thrived in it, I tried to limit myself to 3 but I know have 4 strains in 6 pots........

I keep saying to myself stick to the plan but after I have a few smokes I either change plans or forget them altogether . One of these days I want a sea of 6 all the same strain, I think it makes for pretty pictures.....lol.....

Dirtbag got me with his sea of Wedding cake ( I think it was) and I went...Ya.I want that too one day. I just haven't picked a strain I want 6 of yet. The QC Blue is a top runner but so many to try and times getting short.

I have some wedding cake in now. It does look like it would do well sog

Ya but that particular convo was mixed up, he was talking about previously planted seeds that sprouted
and I was talking about seeds that I just put in the soil.
I figured that out after I re-read it.
Hahaha but I have done a lot of useless reading.
I try not to take it to serious cause I am an impulse buyer and I tend to spend way to much.
Reading about new products and new methods, I finally got where I want to be right now.
So I'm standing pat, at least till the next grow.

Most boring time of the grow.
Fixing little things, tweeking it in.
Put em into the 1 gal. pots few days ago.
They liked it.
Mixed what perlite I had, which was one 1 gal. pot full.
3/1 perlite mix with Pro Mix soil.
Kept it basic, no Coco Coir this time.
Used a lil bit of Myco in there also.
2 more weeks and I will put them into the Auto Pots for
the final 2 then the flip @ 6 wks.
It should be a very nice spacious grow with only 4 plants in there.
I added the cave cam and still have to install the hooks for the treliss.
Turned on the exhaust fan set to 2 with 79 degrees as the high temp and 70 for low temp.
Set the hummi at 60% for high and 50% for low setting on the
Spider Farmer 6 inch inline control fan with temp and humidity controller.
It's very quiet, my old one made to much noise, I could hear it upstairs in my living room.
Took the rag off one intake pipe for more fresh air ventilation, cold outside tho.

Not sure how the Pro Mix is with feeding for the first 6 wks?
My old soil ( Mother Earth Groundswell ) gave them nutes till I put them into the AP's.
At 2 wks +, they don't look hungry yet, but the leaves look a lil light as far as green goes.
I am keeping a eye on em and if I think they need it I'll give them a light feed.
Cave Temp = 75 degrees
Cave Hummi = 50%

I finely got my plants into the auto pots today, I'll give them a week or so to adjust to led's and flip them. Sht just as I wrote that I remembered the far reds I wanted to attach to my drivers before I put my plants in the tent. I bought 2 more a while back and I forgot about them. ooops more work
