Alright, so we wrapping up our last run. Really wished we had documented it here, but works been crazy for the both of us.

Here are some pics from the last run, we got some Trop Cherry that's at day 60. Likely still has a week or so left. Still lots of clear heads and white pistils.

Last run really couldn't have been done without everyone here's help. Know we don't post much but the information on here has honestly been amazing.

Finally up to this starting run.





It's a mix of all our next run///new moms but we are going to be running (4) Donny Burger#5, (4) Durban Poison, and 4 Jelly Breath's from a previous run documented...else where. We kept two cuts from that run. Want to run them again and see if they herm///throw massive donkey dick nugs again. We at about a week from cut, and pretty much all of them have just shot roots through the starter cube.

I have grown trop cherry twice. Both came out with a very loud terp profile of citrus and a floral background on the back end.

So we chopped the Trop Cherry at 66F.


So the terps came in, but damn it made us wait. Legit didn't smell like much till 60F. Anthem's assessment seems to be right on. Strong citrus smell, almost orange smelling, mixed with floral. The floral really comes through.

About a week in on the Glitter Bomb dry. Didn't snap any pics, but if there was only a way to send smell. Smells like sweet armpit funk.



Next run was transplanted. They looked a little beat, did all the work in the garage with the door open and it 48F out, probably didn't do us any favors. Either way, not bad for 8 Days since cut.


Most Recent update. 10 Days since cut. One is being dramatic because we forgot to water her :/ Either way we a couple extra cuts of each, worst comes to worst.
Water is just a mix of RO, Hormex and Clonex. No food yet.

Been a few weeks, but back with an update.

Will start with the results of the last grow.

Ended up with just about 2lbs of Glitter Bomb and just over 2lbs of Trop Cherry.

We are at pretty much exactly 30 days since cut. Learned a few things about climate control, and how strong the little ones like their water.

Kind of a hot mess of cuts in there. Some of the next run, a bunch of moms. The real lanky lookn fucks in the back are the Jelly Breaths. Going to have to top them soon.



We also had an extra Grape Gas and Trop Cherry cut that we decided to flower in a 2x4 we normally use for veg.

No more interesting updates for a while now, just getting into the final days of veg before the flip. Plan to flip them 1/5/24.

First up is the Jelly Breath's and the Lemon Cherry Gelato. We swapped out the Durban Poison because we lost most of the clones. Whoops :/ Anyways, found out we were way underfeeding them.



They've all been topped and transplanted into their final pots. They were topped aggressively, goal was to have 3-4 main tops. Some of the LCG weren't topped since they were a little more runty than the other cuts.

Next up are the Donny Burger #5's.


Topped and in their final pots. Also in their final tent. Got a new dimmer from HLG. MY GOD. Didn't realize how bad that dimmer had got. Will start CO2 around the start of flower.
Last we got the Grape Gas and Trop Cherry we decided to flower. Going to flip them at the same time.

Grape Gas is recovering well from the transplant and topping. Hoping the rest of the grow does as well.

Issue we run into with turning the heater up more is it dry's the air out way too much. Even with a humidifier in the tent the micro climates around the plants goes south.

what Jacks recipe are you using. I have in the past ran the 5-12-26 but that is suggested as a 3 part.

.6ml of PowerSI per gal
1ml of Orca per gal
5ml of Purpinator per gal

Run 3:1 RO-tap water mix.

I used to do the 3-2-1, but have had a lot more success recently running it as 2.5./2.5 and cutting out the Magnesium Sulfate.

Spartan Grown likes the "Triple Donnyburger" and uses it to make his "Spartan's Puke", as a newer breeder. SS Try Rooted Leaf Cal/mag Fuel by Agritech, better feel, Si is slimy, and better price. I use it and their Silica Skin.

So.

We at 4F and they’re off to the races.

First up is the Donny Burgers. We were hoping the aggressive topping would yield 4-5 strong tops. And for the most part that looks like what we are going to get. Still debating if we want to drop the net on them and then possibly a second one, or let the tops grow into the net and use it to make the canopy. Either way aggressive growth over the last few days, roots have hit the bottom of the pots.


Lemmon Cherry Gelatos are growing well. The un-topped girls are a little more stretchy. Lots of strong healthy growth.



Jelly Breaths are looking good, but lanky. Girls got some gaps between those nodes. They also throwing big fugly three finger fan leaves from when we topped them. They don't handle stress well and had already previously hermed on us, so yeah....




Last the Grape Gas and Trop Cherry. The healthiest of the bunch by a long shot.

Grape Gas has incredible, strong, growth in the main tops.


Trop cherry looking incredible. Noticed during our last run she didn't stretch much, and this run appears to be more of the same. Amazing lateral branching. Need to clean her up a bit, but will save that for 21F.


Happy with the progress. Not super thrilled with the Jelly Breaths right now. They were the best two phenos out of a pack of 10 we ran. Still not sure if we wanna keep either. They don't seem to handle stress well, and tend to have some wicked stretch to them.

Another somewhat boring update.

8F. Over all quite happy with them. The Jelly Breaths are still a bit meh. Hoping by the end of the stretch temps will warm up a bit and please them a bit more.

Donny Burgers: Stretch is pretty decent for 8 days. With another 2 weeks or so ahead of them, we're hoping they'll double in size again.


Grape Gas and Trop Cherry: Hoping to keep the Grape Gas some what inline with the trop cherry. The TC is a much more squat plant. Already have her raised up to try to keep up.


The Lemon Cherry Gelato: Decided this is the wife's tent. She is going to use the net how she wants to. In any case, the growth is great across the board. Looking back we wished we had topped all 4. We like the structure of the topped ones much more than the uncut ladies.


Jelly Breaths: So going to assume the cold is starting to get to them. The tent can hit as low as 55 in the morning when lights are off. Sadly I don't have a spare breaker on my sub-panel to safe run another heater. They still have strong growth, they just look, droopy all the time.


We have upped the PPFD to around 550. Some spots are seeing 600+ but not many. They're drinking about 1L of water a day. We hit them with about 3L every 3 days. Eventually they'll get up to around 3L+ of water a day, but for now we're using the dry backs to, hopefully, stack the media a bit. With the increase in PPFD comes the increase in temps, and in this case a massive win. Temps in the tents are now all sitting at 75F+ with lights on. Two of the tents are sitting at 80F, and this is much closer to the VPD we want. Bud sites are starting to appear, which means the end of our IPM cycle nears.

Have you thought of putting one of those split breakers in your sub panel to get two circuits out of one space in the panel? Could be an easy fix to get another circuit.

Had an electrician friend help me with the re-wiring and he got me a sub panel that was smaller than we needed and didn't realize it till we were committed, if you get my drift. Ended up running a few of these tandem breakers and got the circuits I needed without having to pull that box and put a larger one in.

Started the stacking phase. We had three clones that we were going to toss. Decided we weren't going to toss them. Thanks to the advice from @SweetLeafGrow we now have another heater safely powered up and running to the Jelly Breath tent. Tonight is going to be the first night with the heater, so hopefully we will see some improvement. We also dropped the PPFD to 450 a few days ago, and they seemed to respond well to that.


The wife's tent with the Lemon Cherry Gelato's is looking very good. Looks like she's going to be able to fill out the tent completely by the end of the stretch. Got some great before and after shots of her handy work.

The Donny Burgers are looking great. They've started budding up well. I'm expecting more stretch to come and wanna keep that net a tad higher for now.


The Grape Gas and Trop Cherry are just fucking killing it. Going to have to bump the Trop Cherry up a bit more here soon, but otherwise gawd damn.


The picture doesn't do it justice, but the Trop Cherry buds are starting to show their color. Likely due to the lights off temps hovering right at 70F.


Over all things are looking solid across the board. With the storms hitting the bay area, things have been much warmer, making most nights drop to the mid 50's. PPFD has gone up as they grow into the lights. Most tents are sitting at a cool 600PPFD. Some Spots are 700ish. They seem to be handling it well for now. Keeping an eye on their shenanigans.

Another nothing burger of a update really. Over all the ladies are looking good, even the Jelly Breaths. At least supports the idea that they were colder than they preferred. Everyone's up to about 1.5L of water a day. Watering 3L every other day and that's about as much water as the pot can hold. We will have to switch to a daily cadence and that will be the end of the long dry backs. Still watering to <5% run off.

Start off with the Donny Burgers. Decided to drop the net on them. Gave them the old karate chop.

Wife's Lemon Cherry Gelatos are looking excellent. She wants to do a second layer of net in the next couple of days, think that's a solid move too.


Grape Gas and Trop Cherry. Killing it. That one grape gas top getting like 1000+PPFD. Seems to be taking it fine for now. Keeping a close eye on that.


Trop Cherry Color for real coming in. Much more obvious now.


Jelly Breath and company. Finally these girls are looking as happy as they are growing. Three other ladies are stretching straight up, so that will be fun in like a week and half.


Big win with the Jelly breaths finally on the right track. Feel like after the last watering the Burgers stretched enough for me to want to bend them all over. Here's to seeing how good of an idea this was. So far thinking the wife's move of dropping the next on them right off the bat may be the move. Grape Gas/Trop Cherry Tent have a few sites really taking some photons to the face. If they continue to take it, sheesh, should get some real hogs outta them.

You wouldn't want to install a 30 amp breaker in place of anything but another 30 amp breaker because of wire sizing issues.

Those slim 30/20's are made to be installed in pairs so that you can slim down a double-pole 30 allowing you to turn that space into 4 seperate circuits while allowing your 30 amp circuit to stay on the A and B phases.

A somewhat more interesting update. Stretch has slowed down a bit and buds are starting to put on some mass. Second layer of nets has been dropped and the trop cherry tent got one as well. Happy with how things are going. Upped the PPFD in all the tents.

Burgers are looking good. Hitting them with the gas, 800+ PPFD. Terps are starting to make themselves apparent. Somewhat decent canopy hopping (coping) that I'll get a bit more stretch out of them to get the middle branches up, but we'll see.


LCGs have mostly filled out the tent. Wife wants to keep some gaps around the tent for compression when the exhaust fan turns on. They’re also getting 750+ PPFD across.

Jelly breaths are finally looking like we expect them. Getting the temps up in the tent helped a ton. They’re also getting 700+ PPFD. The Oreoz, white runtz and Gary Payton are looking good as well. They’re about two weeks behind so they’re just ending week 1 of flower. They’re getting about 500ppfd and taking it well.


Last is the grape gas and trop cherry tent. Dropped a net in there because the grape gas just stretched more than we could compensate for.


This helped a ton. Now most of the tent is getting 800+ppfd. Edges are still around 400. Once we’re sure the stretch is done we’ll drop the light. The HLG 300R has a warmer hue to it than the other lights we use in the 5x5's. Makes the plants look a lot lighter than they are. Swear they're not that light yellow lol.

Overall things are going well. All the tents are sitting at 700+PPFD. The extra intensity brought much appreciated extra heat. With lights on all the tents are sitting in the low 80's now. Still drop to the low 70's with lights off, but nothing below that. Still at about 3L's of water every other day. Tips are starting to get some color to them so we are going to up the run off a bit. Up till now it's been sub 5%. Last watering was in the range of 5-10% run off. Since we don't have any meters to read the EC of the coco we're just guessing. It's a 50/50 mix so we assume (think?) it won't hold too much EC, but we'll see.

Got our 21 day defoliation done. Overall things are looking good!

Jelly breaths are looking good. It’s apparent the cold at the start of flower took its toll. Lateral branching also was fairly weak as well. Judging from our last time we ran these, seems like they don’t have strong lateral branching. Three smaller ones are looking strong too.

LCG are looking great! Might be pushing them a tad hard but for now we are keeping our foot down on the gas.

Donny burgers terps are really starting to come in strong. Girls are looking strong!

Last up is the grape gas and trop cherry. Man the smell of the grape gas is really something.

We are happy with the growth. The colder nights are bringing out the colors early but definitely looking like it’s holding them back a bit. They’re up to drinking about 2L a day with a daily cadence.

So we are at 29F and things are going as well as we could have hoped. Over the last couple of days we have; pushed the lights harder, upped the PPMs, and dropped the RH. Things seem to be doing good!

Jelly Breaths and company: We are at about 2 weeks on the other three. Stood them up a bit higher to get that sweet sweet PPFD. They seem to be handling it well. The #5 pheno on the right seems to have handled all the bull better than the #3 pheno. Both are budding up very well. Light in most spots is around 800PPFD. Some of the tops are taking 1000+, but the trellis is around 800ish.


Lemon Cherry Gelatos: We have run this cut before and know she's a late bloomer, thinking week 6+ is when the wild stuff started. They are all looking really good. The back ones were looking a little lite in color compared to the others. I had been thinking they might need a smidge more Calcium. Added .2gr/gal of calcium sulfate and the color came has seem to come back well. Light was upped and most spots are now sitting at 900~ppfd. Few of the tops are getting 1200~ but everything else is sitting between 875 and 925.

The burgers: I personally love smoking donny burger so I was super hyped for this run to really see what we could do with her. It's the #5 pheno featured in high times and hunted by a local dispo from here. Really excited with how these girls are growing. Lights sitting at around 950~ppfd in most spots.

One top is getting 1350~ interested to see how it handles it. So far seems to be handling it well.

Rest of the tent



Last up is the grape gas and Trop Cherry. We've grown both these strains now a few times and know what to expect. And they're delivering. They're the lowest light tent. Only getting around 500~ on average. Some of the tops are getting a whopping 1300+ ppfd but due to the light being a HLG 300R the foot print is a tad small for how full this tent is.


The rails on these girls never stops amazing us.


Overall big happy. We changed our water recipe a bit, due to running out of purpinator, but it seems it was for the best. We upped the light quite a bit and they have responded extremely well. Huge growth across all the bud sites and strong resin production. Only things that aren't great are the jelly breaths and the lone Gary Payton in their with them. We thing the Jelly Breaths may have been held up a lot by the cold, but also may not work the greatest in our system. Either way, still 6 more weeks to go.

Donny Burgers: Tent is doing well. We've maxed out the light now, pushing 900-1000+ in most spots, few tops getting 1200+.


LCG: Girls are always late to start packing on weight and this go is much the same. Frost factor so far is pretty good, excited to see her start packing on weight. They have also been taking the most PPFD to the face. Few of those taller tops are getting 1400+ Rest of it is around 900-1000.


Jelly Breaths and company: JB's are looking alright. One is packing on more weight than the other. We'll see if it continues. The other gals in the tent are chugging along. Wife just cleaned them up at their day 21.


Grape Gas and Trop Cherry: Sadly the lack of PPFD is starting to finally show. Comparing pictures from our last runs of these, the same bulk isn't quite there.


Overall we are really happy with the grow. We gripe but honestly we are growing some awesome weed. Our last water was a tad too hot I think. Going back to a lower EC. The jelly breaths are a 9-10 week plant, still a tad early to start seeing brown pistles.

Most of these strains are 8-10 week flowering time. For most of them this should mark the start of the bulking phase, or at least we hope lol.

Donny Burgers: Girls are looking amazing. Top down photo's don't do justice to how thicc these are getting. Some of the tops that were getting the absolutely wild PPFD numbers are showing some brown pistils. Keeping an eye on it. Girls are going to need jackets with how frosty they're getting.


Lemon Cherry Gelatos: These girls are late chunkers and are showing how much heft they can start to pack on as the weeks go by. Week over week they have about doubled their mass. Last time we ran it they did the same. Fingers crossed the trend continues. Resin rails on these girls are pretty wild.


Jelly Breath and Company: The two different pheno's of the Jelly Breaths are really starting to express their differences. The left set is chunkier by a long margin. The Oreoz, White Runtz and Gary payton are still doing their thing in the middle of the tent. Day 28F for them.


Last up is the Trop Cherry and Grape Gas: Lower PPFD is taking it's tole. The girls are still getting qiute thicc but compared to previous runs it's obvious they aren't going to get to the crazy size they have in the past. Terps in this tent are out of this world tho.


Dropped the PPM's in our last couple of batches, down to about 1000PPM/2EC. Still giving them the gas. The three smaller ones in the middle are starting to get a bit beat by it, but eh....

So we are at 29F and things are going as well as we could have hoped. Over the last couple of days we have; pushed the lights harder, upped the PPMs, and dropped the RH. Things seem to be doing good!

Jelly Breaths and company: We are at about 2 weeks on the other three. Stood them up a bit higher to get that sweet sweet PPFD. They seem to be handling it well. The #5 pheno on the right seems to have handled all the bull better than the #3 pheno. Both are budding up very well. Light in most spots is around 800PPFD. Some of the tops are taking 1000+, but the trellis is around 800ish.

Lemon Cherry Gelatos: We have run this cut before and know she's a late bloomer, thinking week 6+ is when the wild stuff started. They are all looking really good. The back ones were looking a little lite in color compared to the others. I had been thinking they might need a smidge more Calcium. Added .2gr/gal of calcium sulfate and the color came has seem to come back well. Light was upped and most spots are now sitting at 900~ppfd. Few of the tops are getting 1200~ but everything else is sitting between 875 and 925.

The burgers: I personally love smoking donny burger so I was super hyped for this run to really see what we could do with her. It's the #5 pheno featured in high times and hunted by a local dispo from here. Really excited with how these girls are growing. Lights sitting at around 950~ppfd in most spots.

Last up is the grape gas and Trop Cherry. We've grown both these strains now a few times and know what to expect. And they're delivering. They're the lowest light tent. Only getting around 500~ on average. Some of the tops are getting a whopping 1300+ ppfd but due to the light being a HLG 300R the foot print is a tad small for how full this tent is.

Overall big happy. We changed our water recipe a bit, due to running out of purpinator, but it seems it was for the best. We upped the light quite a bit and they have responded extremely well. Huge growth across all the bud sites and strong resin production. Only things that aren't great are the jelly breaths and the lone Gary Payton in their with them. We thing the Jelly Breaths may have been held up a lot by the cold, but also may not work the greatest in our system. Either way, still 6 more weeks to go.

Spartangrown of MBGS fame has Donny, triple , & some other strain to breed his Spartan's Puke. Donny and Gary Paton are great pheno's. SS Looks great over there.

Hmm haven't heard of that grower. Quick googlefoo found his insta, I'll check it out.

Donny is one of my favorite smokes. First time I really had psychedelic effects from weed; remember standing in the shower wondering if the paint was really running off the walls or I was just that high.

Hoping to get some color out of them too. With all the storms it's been really mild in the bay. Night's aren't nearly as cold as they were a month ago, so we may not. We can go the flush route but we've never pulled it off successfully.

It can be hell. Honestly our last run trimming up 3 tents wasn't so bad, took about a day. At least when they're all massive nugs. Trimming up popcorn and shit sucks.

At least for us it's a team effort since it's my wife and I.
