I hope Larson tries again next year. His Indy deal is for two years so we'll see. Heartbreaker for sure.
Yeah it just felt like the racing last night was just about to get real good then nothing. I was hoping for some 1am-2am racing but nope.

Tomorrow's the big day at SHR. I guess everybody in the org will find out their fate and we might find out who the players are in buying the charters. Feel so bad for all the employees and the drivers. You can tell morale is rock bottom.
All I want is for them to say they're not picking up the option for Briscoe next year and make him a free agent able to talk to other teams now much like Reddick a couple years ago going from RCR to 23II. He can't talk to anybody about next year right now but SHR can talk to buyers and bidders. Nothing about that is fair for drivers at all.

i'm glad you said something about that man because i didn't know all that was going to today.. i looked at scr.com and nascar but didn't see anything yet, i'll keep my eyes open for sure!!!

I guess the good thing for all involved is they don't really have to pack up and change cities and schools like other sports and most can stay in the NC area. Many should land jobs at other teams especially with so many teams expanding.

NASCAR could put a cap on 3 team cars but HMS and JGR will be able to keep their four being grandfathered in but everybody else, no more than three.

I enjoy IMSA, or did, now I am learning about cannabis growing at a Farm called Budbuilders.org retiring,and may do other big things before I die from cancer. I'm reading HMS has their eyes on Rodney Childers but not sure who he'd crew chief for.
RCR could be the 4th buyer and keep Dillon in the 3 but Gragson gets the third car. That may have been where I saw the #10 coming back.
But others also want Gragson so there could be some bidding wars going on for him. Mainly RCR and JGR.
Briscoe has Mahindra, High Point, and Ford Performance following him where ever he goes so sponsorship isn't an issue for him much like Gragson coming in with big bucks where ever he goes but seems to also be getting interest from RFK, Penske, and even JGR. Been reading Joe Gibbs would love to have him because he's a church guy too and doesn't drink or party like other drivers. Even nuttier is the rumor Joe wants Briscoe in the 19 but IDK...I gotta think Ford will want to keep him under their umbrella but it's looking like Briscoe will have choices

ahhh yeah, the rooster drove the 10 with tide, he drove for so many great owners.. i'm curios if he will show up for the HOF event. after he retired he ghosted nascar and racing completely. i wish i knew why, i wish i new what pissed him off that bad. these days he lives up in new hampshire or something and just flys his plane for fun. he said a nephew or grandchild was into gocarts and he went to a race and had a great time but said he doubts he'll go again... it's impossible to get an interview with and for some reason just hates racing now. so i wonder if getting into the hall of fame would prompt him to make an appearance and maybe even a speech.. i mean what gives???

i turned my dehumidifier on in my basement a week or so ago because i could feel it with this freakin heatwave... i have it around 60% and 42% in the cabinet. i turned the temp down about seven degrees too.

some of them could use a little more time and some look ready to go. this oreoz is ready for the pickin...



so i'm already sold on the slow flip... been convinced for weeks!! now that i understand the mainline and net better i will use the slow flip next time.

felt like infinity yesterday.. after putting in three 12 hour days in a row i had to mow the lawn yesterday!!! i'm shwoopie whoopered today!!!!

i fkin mowed everything!!!! the fron yard, the back yard, the side yard, the other side yard, the other fuckin side yard, the yard between the side yard... all of it!!!! gotta be over two acres!!! gotta be!!! all trimmed down to a clean three inches!!!




that was the first time i mowed the back yard.. seeds were over the hood on the mower!!! mower ran great though... ran like a..



i always get an audience when mowing!! nosy creatures!!!!

Yeah I did a 25 day stretch a while back. This run I'll be close to 3 straight weeks again. We try to get someone off every 3rd weekend.

And you're right.. the checks are nice. I'm literally putting into savings what I used to get paid.

Another year like this and I'll be building myself a house.

years ago we were working in a cleanroom in japan and we were there for 34 long days and only took one day off. there was a guy in charge of just being near us when we were in the building, anything we needed he took care of us. if we were there, he was there... well when we went back a couple months later for sign off we had an interpreter with us, the guy there asked me, do all americans work as hard as you two guys? i looked him stone cold in the eyes and yes we do!! he said he had to take a vacation for a week right after we left!!!

Haha. I have a story almost like that. Me and my apprentice were pulling wire one day and we didn't have a tugger. I think it was a run of #4. I couldn't get it any further than halfway. Grabbed a big burly 19 year old blocklayer for help. He was dead afterwards and asked if we work that hard all the time. I said "every day"

2020 was the biggest blow for me and my family.. last year got better and this year is already better than last year so i'm hopping this train keeps on cruzing!!!

Same here. 2020 was just one big kick in the nuts after another. I always thought being in college athletics was pretty much recession proof. It sure was in 2008. But the pandemic causing empty stadiums and layoffs around the country was a real eye opener.
Before that I always told my niece and nephews to get into education and or athletics at the college level and there will always be a good job for you. Now I tell them you might wanna be a barber because no matter what people need their hair cut even during a pandemic.
But really I don't think that sorta shut down will ever happen again. Well not in Texas at least.

Yeah 6 weeks off and nowhere to go this year. We will take a drive down to the coast and spend a couple nights near water but other than that just hanging out around the area and taking day trips to little hole in the wall good eats around central Texas.

Man I'm tellin' ya.....If I can bring home the W in the pool we getting this fucker!!!!



I've been saving all my 4oz empties for the day I can refill all of 'em with that 32oz jug hahaha!!!

i bough the bigger jar this last time.. it's not like i'm going to stop using it so i might as well save a few bucks. i'll tell ya though my biggest win with it was just using a damn measuring spoon so i wasn't wasting it everytime. i would just eyeball it with the scoop they provide.. i was way off. i've been measuring it out since this last time and i'm using way less. looks like it will last for years the way i'm using now.

Wait....You measure stuff?

I honestly don't measure anything. With GW I just tilt the can and sprinkle a bit out. Sometimes it's a little, sometimes a lot.
I make batches of water 12 gallons at a time so what I dump in might be around a tablespoon worth. I go thru about 3oz per grow applying once a week. I'll have a bit to start the next and when I drop seeds I also order another 4oz to carry me thru the grow.
With the liquid NH stuff I just pour a splash in and guess to myself, "that looks like a shot glass worth"
With dry nutes I go by the handful and don;t measure that either.
Organics are just so dang forgiving when it comes to being accurate

Honda in cup is just awkward. Civic is the only car that could do it and that's a chick car.
I remember when Toyota got into it and thinking I thought NASCAR was American manufacturers only but money know no borders.

I'm not sure what to think of this track. Like it's kinda like a short track but fast? Pit strategy is playing a big factor.
Love seeing it sold out though. Winning burnouts are always cool when it's a packed house and if the winner is somebody everybody hates, those boos rain down loud!!

Honda in cup is just awkward. Civic is the only car that could do it and that's a chick car.

last night i broke all the leaves off from my last harvest and bagged most of it up.. i still have a three more plants to go actually. i decided to wait a few days because last night i ordered one of these>

i have mixed feelings so i decided i wanted to try one for myself to see. i left some of the dry to trim and i will attempt a wet trim on the current crop. i thought maybe if they were so great everyone would have one, then i thought well airpots are great, not everyone uses those.. along with other great things i use in my grow that not everyone uses... so YOLO.

comes with a drying rack which i might try and use this time because of so many strains compared to normal it might be nice to have to keep them separated.

so i'd love to hear from anyone that used one? pro/cons/comments???? let me hear em please!!
