How about we do a POTF - Picture of the Forum contest. Winner, in addition to all the coolest prizes, get's their money shot displayed at the top of the forum until someone outdoes them.

Only it should be the whole plant, not just a bud porn shot. We want those too, but winner is best overall plant, whatever the forum decides that means.

So have a winner in Oct, Nov, Dec, and the current winner is pitted against all newcomers. That way folks can grow whenever it works for them.

Is there going to be a separate thread for sign-up? I was already planning on starting my fall/winter run about that time. I already have 3 strains I intend to grow. I could add another but my limit space-wise would be 3 plants (or less) so I still have room for the others I was planning on.

Grows can start at any time.
Grow and post your progress. You can just put everything in a grow journal and select specific photos to be submitted to the gallery.
The scroll bar with randomized entries is up on the main page now under the Patreon link. Might move that to the top if we don't get bandwidth complaints.
The pics in the scroll bar will link to your grow if voters want to see more.
We vote as a forum on the best pic***
Winners are awarded once a month.
Winners get the selected pic at the top of the forum for the next month.
We will have a discussion thread, as well as a voting only thread. Entries and votes only.
Continue this until everyone has had a chance to grow and cure the same strain, however they like.

I think if there is anyway of judging quality of product it would be a better contest over plant appearance. Would be a difficult contest to pull off I’m sure given we are all scattered about.

Yeah I'm not to worked about shipping weed anymore. I ship 50 cartridges a month to NC for my sister in law and her husband cause they get charged 60 a pop down there and I can get them 10 for 200. I've been doing this for a while now.

We could have a sub-contest of folks willing to ship product to a central judge(s). But judges can't compete. I'm out. Maybe the breeder we select could be a good arbitrary judge? If we had enough people willing to do that and have the cure done at the same time, it could merit it's own contest. Lots of moving parts there tho.

So what seeds are we running, what fits the most people? I figure something short for those with height limitations, and a fem seed to make it easy. I lean hard towards photo myself.

I think we can ship seeds for $5 or so in the US. Whatever the shipping is would be the entry fee. Probably send 3 seeds and grow 1 plant from them?

I was thinking an indica leaning feminized photoperiod myself.
If we go autos I'm out til next outdoor season. I can't waste indoor space on autos lol.
