One thing the Covid lockdown proved here was that the wildlife was ready and waiting to take it all back. Deer, fox, coyote to name a few. Rabbits seemed to start a year or two earlier but enjoyed the yard until the fox started coming round.

4 days this week and today~!
I rolled back over today though. 🥴

Got my car loaded, having a cup of mud then off to braid my hair, find a hat and am headed down the road. Big day today on the range. Whoooop whoooop!

I may need it today! Rain! Ugh! Means my flags will be hanging and reading untrue. When that happens my recourse is to wet my cheeks and forehead with a bit of water and do the best I can. You can actually tell directions etc. Not as true as the flag tho..have to be careful to stay out of the 9-3 o’clock position danger zone.

I’m not that good by far but that is a cool idea!

Most I do is watch trees, tall grass, and wait for the breeze to stop on longer shoots these days. But don’t think I’ve gone further out than 200m-300m in years. 100m is typical just for fun days.

Some days ya just start the day stuck on stupid. That was me today. I did learn many things from it.
First, never chose the strain Permanent Marker as the big smoke before the match. I normally start my shooting morning off with a hot biscuit. Sometimes, sausage egg and cheese, other times bacon etc. Secondly, on the way to the range I smoke all I can of some heavy indica. This helps to settle me in, and slows a constant thinking racing mind.
Out of the gate, as soon as I get out of my car, I find I have left both of my jackets hanging at home. It was cold! A buddy from St Lou saved my ass with an xtra jacket he had.
Sit down for my first relay zeroing my gun during a sighter period. I need to put a little dope on it to zero it. I pull out my reading glasses and dial one down two to the right. Get back on the scope and the next five shots, which counted as I was out of sighters was all over the place. WTF? Then I notice my glasses fogging up. WTH? My shooting glasses NEVER fog up. It’s then I realize that I still have on my reading glasses, which severely distorted my view/vision in the scope. Completely changed my optics! What a dumbass move! I had to laugh!
Second relay was a perfect shoot. 200/18 X.
So that was my day. I did win the money split with my partner in the team match today! So, win a few, lose a few, don’t smoke Permanent Marker on the way to the range and learn to laugh instead of kicking ya own ass! Life will do that for ya!

Thankfully that was only last weekend so my procrastination may indeed be helping the cause. :oops:😁

This was a super weird grow.
I screwed up forgot all about calcium until it was all but too late.
But the good news [ for me ] is I have come very close to the no/very little trim grow.
I let the plants be on their own this last week and what fan leaves that were not trashed in the grow met an end.
Plants just need to be chopped and hung and the actual trimming should only be a few hours for 22 plants~!😁
I grew a lot of cherry strains this grow and have 3-4 plants that have red buds like Stoney had.
I can't wait to smoke them~!
Here is a picture of how red Stoneys bud was.

I found 2 seeds in that bud and they have turned out nicely I think.

That’s one thing I like about my method. I stop all feed and push plain water the last two weeks. By forcing the plant to use what’s stored in bottom leaves, it’s used, the leaves drop off. Viola’ less trimming..smooth ass smoke..it’s alllll good!
 
While I pulled a foolish thing on the range yesterday, my protege “Grasshopper” kicked some butt! This is what makes coaching a seven year old worth every second of it! IMG_2624.jpegIMG_2623.jpeg
 
Sliced my damn fingertip near off this afternoon.
Brand new utility knife blade, one of the 5x sharper 10x stronger Milwaukee blades too no less.
Knife didn't know the difference between sheet rock and my finger.
Cut down the sheetrock, through my finger, and kept right on going down the rock straight, never skipped a beat.

So now I have an air balloon for a finger🎈

Tech has come a long way. Still waiting for the digital scopes to improve, then get reasonable in price. 🤔

That's why I always liked beer bongs lol...I had one that would hold 4 beers and had one that would do 8 beers divided 8 ways, it was a group beer bong had valves to open for the beer drop lol

Blacked out type shit, pathway of destruction back to your house driving or walking don't matter 😂
