Everything Ninjadip

I've found this to be the same for me too. Even dewaxed and in a cart flower rosin either gets overcooked and nasty or returns to crystal form unable to wick or anything. Like it locks up or something.
I still tinker with it but end up having to cut it with terps or thinners so much I don't want it.
I use Puffco gear because of the type of ovens they use work both great with flower rosin and are ez to clean up after every load. Infusing a flower joint with flower rosin is always a nice option too ;gr
Hey, now I'm curious. How does their oven work as you call it? Can you share a picture?

I'm guessing it's a lot better than this 510 quartz one I have with this cheap erig

I probably never would've been able to justify buying a puffco peak until I won one in a dispensary drawing... it replaced my torch and rig in a heartbeat. I started using it to smoke diamonds and damn was that easy. Just tap some rocks into the bowl like a salt shaker and rip it..
Man I keep seeing those might have to get me one some time

The oven is just the bowl where you load the wax and it melts down. Some brands will call it something different. Puffco calls it a 3D chamber.

I'm not sure what makes some better than others but some are definitely better than others.
I think made of ceramic is top of the pyramid followed by quartz and finally stainless steel. It's just all in how the heat distributes from a single hot spot to the whole bowl being hot and ceramic does that best.

When the air passage is above the wax and in the rim of the bowl, that matter too in regards to how messy the vape may get.
I have several E-rigs and IDK why but Puffco just gets hi marks in all categories. I also have the Pulsar Rok and it would seem great and it does work very well but for whatever reason, Puffco is just better.
The Peak Pro is a very nice rig and has everything but I use my Proxy the most. The bowl or oven isn't quite as large as the peak and it's feature are simple meat and potatoes but it delivers monster clouds and probably the best rig for getting reclaim oil and having next to no wasted wax.

Hey hey,
Finally got two seedlings going.. terrible luck I had with seeds.
Had 3 blueberry diesel in the vert germ, checked on them when I was drunk, so excited to see tails I crushed all 3 when I put it back together.... Heard a loud crunch that killed my buzz

So I have one of each of these going now in the two plant site setup:
Barney's farm Tangerine dream
Dutch Passion Skywalker Haze

Funny how I'm just realizing now both are sativa dominant, and cannabis cup winners,

Don't think I've ever grown sativas before

I remember TD very well. When that girl won the cannabis cup, I think every grower under the Sun bought a pack.
That was back when there was only one Cannabis Cup, The High Times cup in Amsterdam where legends like White Widow and Northern Lights got their start. If a breeder won that cup, they got instant fame and their strains would be coveted by every grower worldwide. Now there's so many cups all that is diluted and not much mind is paid to any winners today.

TD was a big gal for me and one of the few true orange flavor cuts with mine having hints of orange creamsicle among the skunky fuel flavor.
Got away from growing Dutch strains around 2012 but before that was very heavy into everything from Amsterdam and Barney's always had worthwhile stuff to grow. TD was top shelf in their catalog

The skywalker haze looks nice.

Been taking it super easy, they been coasting since roots touched, got to do the first change soon and give them their first good feed

love the bass man!!! i'm a big Fosgate fan, shitty that it separated like that on ya!

thump on...
That was after I melted both coils, I think I didn't let it cool down slowly one night after serious bass and just turned if off. I've now learned that this is bad lol. Best practice after heavy SPL is to play it at low volume so the sub moves air around to cool it off.

I burned one coil then played it through for another two weeks until it blew up lol

This skar hits the lows better imo. Also updated head unit, now have Android auto, dsp timing, bandwidth control on every speaker, and 13 band EQ, yes I love sound lol

Totally forgot I was growing plants lol, haven't checked on them daily and just letting it the system do it's thing.

Not purposefully trying to pull a @smoke but I'm not feeding them anything lol, EC 0.4, but plan on doing a change tomorrow and upping feed and light intensity maybe for 1-2 weeks then flip.

Got the UV light on the full light schedule, it's taking making these sativa leaning plants stay compact I think.

Not sure if I should put the UV on timer again like I did last time or at least wait until after stretch to turn off.

Cone destruction!

Have a buddy up in L.A. that has been reconing speakers along with fixing amps for a long time. Yours is pretty bad but I've seen some really bad ones come through his shop.

Hopefully, when he passes, he'll leave me one of his Mcintosh MC3500's. That amp is one of the best sounding audiophile amplifiers I've ever heard. When I heard it he was running the signal through a pair of Focal Utopia series speakers. Amazing clarity and depth but with so much warmth! He has 3. I tried to buy one off him but no go. Crusty old bastard! He's that guy that'll have an original '69 Camaro RS sitting under a tarp for decades and when you try and buy it from him he'll tell you no and that he is going to be fixing it up.......uh huh! :ROFLMAO:

I've heard that McIntosh makes amazing audiophile quality equipment, never got to hear it before.

Warmth, reminds me of a word used with vintage 70-80s home amps, ah... Used to have my dad's sensui amp and reverb, used to love it, just a little quality reverb can make it sound very full, or so the setup did.

Time for flip, started today.

Figure let's keep this thing moving, maybe these "sativa dominant" plants will show their ass in stretch, so better safe than sorry, but so far I'm not seeing it.

EC 1.4

Ph probe busted, going to get another dual junction apera asap.

Video got stuck in slow Mo lol just like me right now... Phew ;smoke;smoke

No.....
I'm not invincible, still trying to learn that one.
Somehow not a scratch on me except a very bruised ego.
Of course that's what matters.... But there is a lot of sweat and some blood in that car from me over the years... That's the saddest, all the work, the memories, the love for my baby was all thrown away cause of me

Holy smokes man glad you walked away from that one!
Same ride you just hooked up with the thumper?

Yeah, all that was installed by me years ago, was replacing a blown sub the other week...

I did get that out and both amps from the tow yard, but still....

I did add some extra insurance for all the sound equipment so I should have enough to get a new whip.

Oh here's the kicker, just paid her off this year too

Not trying to be a Debbie downer, but I'm a little down lol

Life will move on, thankfully

It's the tube setup they use that gives it that nice "brown" sound with all that warmth and depth. He played a few different musical genres through it and they all sounded amazing. When he played Steely Dan's Aja album through it I heard stuff that I hadn't heard before on other audiophile setups.

New probe in, no more pen testing

Cute little certificate lolPXL_20250722_231857515.jpg
Didn't know mfg rates lifespan 1-2 years, seems about exactly when they have stopped being able to calibrate correctly in my experience. $40 isn't bad I guess, anyone use another brand that is more cost efficient and accurate?
Edit, I get the high end of the lifespan at 2 years before they crap out
