All things shrooms

No-mist so far
9 fuzzy white spots

This is cool lol
Yup just let em go and see. I never tried oatmeal but other than the ability to hold as much moisture and be more compact would think it should work well if you can keep it from being to tight together in a jar. Using less in a jar would probably help with that

Show…
i started it all together like that lol.

i just said fuck it, took a tote cleaned it out, dumped some coco and the oatmeal, mixed it up and then sprayed till maybe near capacity.

sides are showing condensation so RH must be 85+ in the MiniTote.

this is was 3 days ago if that. feels like 2.

see what yall mean by KSSS is aggressive lol.

i wouldnt be suprised if it ends up contam, though.
Idk if there is a strain that more well suited to what you did its KSSS

When you mist do bot spray directly at the media. You want the lightest mist possible and let it fall into the media… do not soray after pins as they will abort

Yea was wondering if it would be bad to mist the hyphae.

Like when I start to try and fruit if I make it that far?

The mist mix I have mixed up now is half gallon tap, tiny amount of salts and sugar.

I think you may. Hell i had a pan cyan isolate that used to kill trich and just run iver it… the fastest wispy mycelium i ever seen but it would not fruit. I spent probably 6 months working on a strong mycelium for pan cyan spores and in the end the that was what i ended uo with and the bitch wouldn’t fruit lol. Thats when i gave up on them

Put the uncle Ben's bags in a minitote with some coco I'll leave it and see if anything happens.

Tote that is colonizing started in the middle closet, as the bags were in the BR-Closet.

Ot bad so far bro… I usually use a paper thin casing layer. That keeps the grain or in your case oatmeal from drying out
I was thinking about doing that, but I wasn't sure about casing over the mycellium already growing.

It would probably be fine though, but didn't want to disturb it too much as I already can't keep my hands off it and looking under the lid lol
