Listen, what you do for those kids is priceless. Before you know it, you will blink your eyes and they will be gone. Most children do not have the privilege of even having a parent at home and are victims to the system and whatever retardant ass educator has control of what they learn.
When we are young, we want all of this stuff, these things. We think it somehow defines who we are, our successes..
When we are old..we try to get rid of all that shit. In actuality it’s a fecking burden. If my husband goes first, I will ditch these “ trappings” because that is exactly what they are, build a tiny home, a tiny grow and be happy til the very end.
Today, in these fecked up times if we have a roof above our heads, clothes on our back and food, we are blessed.
Never forget that.
If I had the title for this place I live in now od just have it moved.
Its not necessarily the place we live in, its
where we live thats an issue. My neighbors suck, one pollinated my entire outdoor crop, another had his truck blown up, then got his house robbed, im just over the trailer park.
Its time to go and be on our own little slice of something. I just want my kids to grow up and be able to do what they wanna do.
Right now the new landlord has made it impossible to have kids in here.
No balls, Frisbees, bikes, forts, swings, play sets, nothing.
No window unit ACs, no pellet/coal stoves or wood stoves, rent has gone up twice since April, the "maintenance" guy doesnt do any maintenance, our water is down every other day, we cant get in touch with the landlord ever, hes been in charge since April I have yet to meet him still.
He tried to make me pay to have his water line dug up and fixed so I had to do it myself.
Who wouldve know the landlord couldve gotten worse than the one i had before...
Shits gotten really bad.
