Only fed 3 times with the 3part. Mostly using the organic sea monster this run, which is a 3-2-1 ratio.

Rt now that's my downfall, reading them. You,sshz, are just amazing. I've told u that 1,000,001 times. I'm absorbing everything I can from everyone. My RO starts at zero. This next run I may put on here and see what the masses think. I got tremendous help last round and it turned out very nice, about 3/4 of them anyway.Cal/mag deficiencies are normally the first to show up, since marijuana is a heavy user of both. R.O. devices specifically remove most if not all of both, that is why additional is needed. If your starting ppm is high or higher, normally it's chock full of cal/mag already and less is needed to be added.
I normally run cal/mag high in veg, and start cutting back in flowering......but as stated, every circumstance is different and what works for me may not work for others. I've stated in my current and last grow, i need to make more of an effort to keep ppm in the 450 range and not go much above that, as some strains are more sensitive and react poorly over time. The Biscotti is a perfect example of that- some of those plants are doing poorly, while the All Starz is breezing thru it all.
It's best to start low and build up rather than hit them with an abnormally high ppm. Learn to read your plants, they will tell you what you need to know if you listen.
I add it at every water as well, if you’re going ml/gal? At 5ml/1gal. as a Canadian, I stick to metric with liquid measure. 2ml/l which would be roughly 7.5ml/gal.My opinion is it should be at 5ml per gallon with every watering.......depending on whether you are using r.o. water and your starting ppm is. That's a minimum position. If you start seeing rust spots, tacoing, or funky sun leaves- I'd bump it up some until things improve. You've asked others here, so I'll let them respond........
What's you're reasoning for adding far-red spectrum?Replacement light was delivered today, it works, might add a couple far red led lights in there this weekend now that the stretch looks done. View attachment 84786
Figured a quantum yield engineer would already know that answer. What's you're reasoning for adding far-red spectrum?
Curious.
Yes, i just dont like what it can do for the structure.Figured a quantum yield engineer would already know that answer.
Indeed.Better THC, and terp development. That’s the theory anyways.
I’ve got the lamps, I checked them out, and they are both 660nm. Every time I’ve implemented them after stretch, I’ve had good results, so why not add them for extra ppfd.Yes, i just dont like what it can do for the structure.
Indeed.
They send what they send for replacement. Not my choice, I’d much rather just have 2 larger lights to fill the space, but I’ll make it workHow come they gave you a smaller light than the one you had in there.did you want the lesser light.
They just sent you a lesser powered board light for your broken bar light? Wow, just "not your choice, You're the customer, So I'd say that's pretty fucked up on spiderfarmers part..... the grow looks great regardless man, killing itThey send what they send for replacement. Thanks for the kindness, yup, second bar light they’ve replaced with a lesser board light. Not my idea of quality customer service, but not much I can do about it.They just sent you a lesser powered board light for your broken bar light? I actually feel like the board lights are longer lasting with less wiring. I’ve got another first year sf4000 in storage that still works properly, but has poor diode placement causing hotspots, and no dimming ability.
Only working bar light I still have is a se3000, but it’s hard to find a space for that light in my footprint.
Wild if Samsung really is pulling diode production, lots of other cheaper options tho, probably why they can’t justify the production anymore.Wonder what diodes spiderfarmer will run once Samsung exits the grow light industry..
