New to Bud builder's hello everyone

The dry nutrient is working out £25 for 2000ltr compared to canna 2500ltr for £60.

I've used a few other nutrients over the years and they've worked fine, tbh I don't think success is down the nutrient line itself?

I've ordered a kg of it, having the autopot running it's a good opportunity to give a try without committing it to a full crop.

I also ordered 4x autopots single pot modules, they come with 15ltr pots which are a bit big for my purpose so I've swapped them over for some 8.5ltr pots 😊

I'm in the auto pots now, I have 6 -15L on one res in a 5x5...a bit tight but it works. Under 3 SE3000. I just finished 1 crop and I've another just about ready to drop in the pots and let then grow.I'm using General Hydroponics 3 part + a few other additives when needed

Nice one, are you liking the autopots, are you getting a decent crop from them.

I know it's still early but there's so little difference between my dtw and the autopot I just went ahead and ordered them, I'm going to buy another two when funds allow.

Dtw is good there's no doubts but it requires dedication, that itself I don't mind but it's getting to be hard work setting up feeders and emptying run off daily, autopots will make things a lot easier for me.

Yes I like them a lot, I have to feed more nutes than with soil grows but the plants take off in the pots once they get turned on and start to feed through the trays. They drink 1/2gal a day+ in flower and I can go through a lot of feed fast with these things. I'm also using the air domes....or home made versions of them with air stones in drilled out pots or 4" air nets with the rim cut off.

I used a tray version years back, one the things I didn't like was the nutrient being in the tray for so long.

With the pot sized ones I have noticed the frequency of feeding is much higher with them and that can only be a good thing.

Cheers bud

Some interesting crosses from a forum friend.

Ugorg blues and Exodus were used for these crosses from seed heaven.

The lost skunk is my concern but the others are highly regarded crosses.

Things are coming together nicely now 😊

RainbowX cereal for the win!
Thank you, I'm not up to date with the latest strains tbh I wasn't aware of its existence.

Since getting them I've noticed rainbow belts is very popular.
Slh x Rainbow Belts was my original choice for starting 1st but now that's subject to change lol, what would be your 1st choice?

I asked him to recommend me some based on strong terps and rainbow belts was his favourite.

Thank you

Yes I've a 3x2 clone tent with 4x t5s I keep mum's in and start seedlings and clones etc.

It's surprising what it can hold.

It comes with own problems but nothing major.
Hey folk's, come to think about it I bought a another clone tent, i can't remember if mentioned it?
I probably did' i never stfu 🤪

So my plan is to veg my seedlings with t5s at 12-12 then move them into the flowering tent.

My autopot order has arrived so I've some new toys to play with at theweekend 😂
1st impressions are good, they look and feel well made.

Yes nice terps, I've heard "talking" about Cereal Milk X Rainbow belts. It's a known cross by breeders & growers like me, grower that is. SS

Thank you that's ideal, cereal milk it'll be.

Cereal milk caught my eye in his tent when I trying to select something, I did comment on it but I ended up asking him to recommend me some.

I like the red or orange poles.
I think im gonna flip my 2x2 on its side and make a 2x4x2 veg/clone tent with some T5s. Sitting as a 2x2x4 its pretty useless.

I have seen tent flipping on U-tube cannabis shows. I want 3x3 or 4x4, no more 2x4x5 small tents for me.SS
Ahh, see i think a nice 2x4 would be good for you, then you could do away with your behind the tv seedling station lol.

Plus a 2x4 would allow me to veg the 18 plants plants i need to continually run a SoG, so im thinking flipping this tent is gonna be a good thing lol.
Just gotta build a table for it, im sitting on the floor to deal with them lol.

I just got a 3x3 from a/c Infinity. Waiting on inline fan and charcoal filter. SS

Hello folk's, I got another delivery today of dry nutrient.

It's 1.40am i couldn't sleep so I decided to mix up some stock solution of A&B to work from.

I then moved onto my autopots and cleaned and installed the valve's, tubing etc, they're tested now and ready to grow.

I flipped the latest plants around Christmas, counting 70 days takes me to March 4th.
Taking 4/5 weeks off March 4th is last week or something?

I don't want my new plants to be kept out of the flower tent with any stragglers so I'll give it another wk then start preping seeds for the next crop.

I was going to go with London city genetics blockbuster but I've since secured some dank cheese clones, so it's blueberry or lost skunk, fk it maybe both?
😅

My male female ratio has been all over the place, from 3 females in 17 to 4 females in 5, I've also had 1 fem from 10 seeds so I've no expectations whatsoever.

If you were starting a 10 pk how many fems would you guess, estimate whatever lol?

Thanks guys

So far my male to female ratio has been about 50/50.

Last seed drop I popped 4 of each strain and ended up with 2 females from each strain.
The one before that was only 3 seeds and 2 were male.

So i say your odds are about 60/40 male/female. Ive always heard people get more males than females but im limited in my experience with reg seeds i usually run fems

Thank you @GoodShit97
I'd like to start both of them but I don't want to end up with too many, I'd feel obligated to flower them?

I like to leave some space for me to get in the tent with a joint and a cup of tea 😄

Hahaha, man i left myself a spot to get in my 4x4 and tend to my plants and then i filled it with 2 more small plants and a fan. So yeah i know what you mean lol!

According to my calculations it's time to prepare seeds for my next crop.

Last night I soaked blockbuster and coastal blueberry.

When the clones are ready it puts the seeds 35 days ahead so I've little concerns about them not being ready to chop.
Blueberry twist

I had a straggler in my last crop, it went 114 days holding back my plan, I promised myself I wouldn't let one plant get in the way of my plans again.

😊

What you soaking the seeds in?

Most kelp products will contain the same stuff as the nitrozyme.
I use Coast of Maine liquid kelp as part of my feed regiment.

Yes that's the same stuff, a sea weed, aqua marine extract.

I originally read about it being used for seeds, apparently sea weed extract helps seeds get a better start.

Ive got this whole pint of SeaK from greenleaf nutrients.20240211_134943.jpg
Its a 0-0-18.
I have not a clue how or why you'd use it so its just chillin under my bathroom sink lol.
