I'd still verify it. It only takes a moment to turn off the lights using your timer so it mimics lights off and then sit inside the tent with it completely zipped up. Have the bedroom lights on when you're doing that.Yeah, I'm leaning into light leaks. I let my neighbor and her daughter to take my bed for a weekend. it was -20 or more at night and the parent neglected keeping up w the bills, so no heat or electricity. So I'm pretty good at not having lights on in my bedroom after the tent light goes off. Pretty sure when they stayed, they were not vigilant about no lights going on in the room after tent light went out.
If it was related to company, they must have been looking inside the tent with the lights on. Good tents don't allow outside light in if you use them right.
