One of the agaves in my front yard garden is blooming this year.
The bloom stands at about 20' tall. Birds will eventually take the seeds from the pods when they open.
The agave lives for about 15 years then blooms and dies. During it's life though it produces pups so all the agaves in the patch actually came from only one which was planted a couple decades ago. This one in bloom is 3rd generation from the original

I gave my apple tree a good trim back in January, its new territory for me?

It's one sided there's no growth on one side so I've turned it so the blank side faces the sun.

I left a old branch/stump without shoots on it hoping it would sprouts new shoots and it has.

Aphids are or were feasting on my apple tree...bad move.

I covered it with plastic and smoke bombed them...star dog 1 aphids 0

The smoke bombs are only £3/4 each they're very effective on the usual suspects.

I live in Saratoga, but don't work for the track.
I service many roofs at the track and installed the copper roof on the 1863 club in 2019.
It was the largest copper project on the East coast.
We won a first-place international award for that roof~!

I seen this aphid about 10 days ago

I was prepared to let it be then the rest of the family arrived.

It's surprising how quickly they infested the tree in future I'll take immediate action, I checked it closely when I seen that one above and couldn't see anything concerning, hopefully the tree isn't to badly affected

I got a delivery of seeds today from my bro I'm pretty stoked with them I've had some stellar results from his crosses

My buddy turns wood for a hobby he made me/them a cool nesting box ^^^ from a log

Did a lot of yard work Saturday. Seems the one overnight rain we did get caused a big growth spurt.











Rabbits have a few little dugouts rather than holes.




When the Snow on the Mountain takes over you can’t see these spots. The babies usually hide in these patches.

Mom passed away quietly in her sleep, on her own terms at home with us. 98 years young and she loved everyone without reservation. Life just lasts a second, enjoy all. We told our guard dog to keep an eye on her, but alas he was napping (again).
