SSHZ does Ethos "Mandarin Cookies R3"

His charges and their disposition are both atrocious.
The DA in most of those counties should be brought up on charges.
That don't get dismissed....
Just saying the system really sucks. I can't believe so many buy into it or defend it or any of them who are part of it.

Fact is, prison and jails are so over crowded- the d.a.’s would rather just probation you off a plea. Unless it’s a newspaper headline case where they try to make you an example for show. The justice system, along with most other things the state governments are involved with, is broken beyond repair.

You need to grow some other breeders gear sshz..fuck supporting that scum..

Yup, this will probably be the last, at least for the next year or so............... if I crossed off all the breeders that are shitheads, there wouldn't be many left......... I've been looking at some originally stock by Todd McCormick, he has some original NL#2/NL#5 and others from Nevils original stock. No fem's unfortunately, I would have to start up in two rooms, and hope I end up with enough to fill 1. Check this out......www.agseedco.com

Yeah I’d b interested in those lines.skunk #1 and the skunk#1 x NL#2?.I could do something with those..

Inbred means bred to itself............no other genetics are used.

Many of these early Northern Lights strains are the foundation blocks of many of today’s strains. In the late 80’s, when I started growing, I was getting seeds directly from Nevil’s The Seed Bank in Amsterdam and growing mainly N.L. strains and their hybrids. Not great yielders, but quality stuff......the NL#5 was the best yielding of all of them.

Max, if i place an order, i'll get with you first...........just need to think it thru. I'd love to see you work with the NL #2/#5's..........

Skunks are tough, they need a lot of light!

That'd be real neat to see ya run some northern lights. I've been wanting to get some myself but have been weary of bogus genetics. Curious to see if Mccormicks seeds match up with what you were growing from nevil. I've looked at Mccormick before but have heard others skepticism and it's made me hold off

All i know from reading is his stuff is from original Nevil's genetics............that's been confirmed. Still, i'm not sure if it's an open breeding program or selected males and females. Atomic has a NL that's supposed to be good too. And i doubt the quality of anyones is equal to what an Nevil used to offer, since it's 35 years later.....

Right i had been lookin at ak bean brains, he has some pretty old genetics that were kind of isolated for a long time he claims since Alaska is kind of out there.

So if it were open pollinated that would mean a wide variety of phenos vs if they were selecting it would be more narrow correct? My question then is to maintain the integrity of the strain which is better? Selecting is sort of like working and steering the genetics in a desired manner breeding out the stuff you aren't interested in right so would open pollination be more desired in this instance so traits that may have been overlooked are still in there?

Obviously just to do a grow you'd want the stock that was selected and refined....but I'm kinda wondering if the magic lies more in the open pollinated

I've not much experience just trying to pick your brain

You are correct in your assumptions..........i guess the best thing at this point is to find previous grow reports and read thru their observations. But rarely are things as good as they were so many years ago. There is something called "genetic drift", when the strains genes change a bit so things generally aren't as good as in the past.

Theres some good reports on some Nirvana NL too out there...........

The main issue here is you may have to grow out many plants to find something close to the original.........and really, until you smoke every plant, how can you really know just how good it is. Who has the room or time for that? People that pick mothers and fathers just by plant appearance are missing the mark.

I messaged todd when you posted up his site sshz..if he doesn’t reply I won’t bother with him.

I believe he may be in some of the other boards but I’d have to search him out........

Got an email tonight, they are doing an inventory right now and most everything is up or going up for sale.......and giving an extra pack if 2 are bought. If they had fem's, I would have spent $1000 already. These are about as old-school as you can get.

Actually, the Haze x NL #5 was easily the best yielding but it was a monster plant and not necessarily the best for indoor growing.

Hell yea I've seen good results from phlizon lights, it'd make a nice propagation light

Roots is lucky for sure.
You sir are a winner for sure~! 👊

I have 4 Athens Silver Haze in the flower room today. NL5 X Haze day 4

I grew them once, many years ago. I gave up at day 77 in flowering, they needed way more time but yield was a beast and still, they were a great smoke.....

That’s my main concern with growing nl#5 and others is there flowering time..ideally 8-9 weeks max is the strain id want.most go over this ..
