Put the two chops off the Sirius Black in soil and crossing my fingers.
They are little bushes. Shortest plants in the tent. Liking that for the indoor growing.
Still have the ZD cuts from over a month ago. No real growth but not dead or dying either?

Kind of feel like I should be feeding the 'autos' differently.
Been trying to be real slow and do as little with new girls as possible but feel that will lead to trouble with them soon.
Thought I was seeing pistils also on the Super Lemon Haze but now not so sure. I topped 2 of them and left one un topped just in case still.

i got some of the same issue with my mainlines, the container is too narrow to tie down some of the ends already. that short timing might help with that, if we would have topped sooner maybe those nodes wouldn't have stretched so far yet. learning...

First time for both ZD and FP.
They both look like keepers~!
Funny is I have 3 ZD in flower and all are different phenos or something.
One is tall and the other tight bush.
2 tight bushes but one has barely any sign of pistils~! The other monster buds I think my dreams are made of~!
Got 4 clones in the veg tent but think they are slow bush not fast?
You bet I will keep an eye on which clone is which with the 3 ZD in the veg tent when the time comes.
The FP seems outstanding even with the funny phone color pics? Never grew super frosty stuff before. Consensus is it don't matter really towards buzz.
Sure does look pretty though.
Funniest to the stoner is last time I mixed up the Cherry Gar See Ya and Planet Grape and could never tell them apart.
The difference is real easy to see in the flowers now.
None of them have the color of the CG. Going to get a good clear shot of her for sure.

The training is slacker~! Welcome to it, or being around it. I am usually anal about seedlings and keeping them small for first 3 weeks.
Really beat down one grow for a month before it saw the good lights. This grow I just grew seed with effort. Maybe too much?
They seem tall for the most to me 3 out of 4 I would say.
And I never really noticed specifically but it seems the branches at the nodes are very small for plant size to me on my plants.
The Sirius Blacks are the 2 small bushes in this grow I am most interested in along with the DFG gear.
The Zamal Dreams and GMO X Orange Dreams are growing real even with each other. Topped all the DFG and SB.
Ordered DFG seeds today after thinking more on the autos.
Got his latest limited drop.
Grape Skunk Dog regulars

The latest release from the DFG / Matchmaker seeds collab! Grape Pie (Archive cut - cannarado bred) x Triangle Skunk (MMS bred - DFG selection) 10 Regular seeds per packk. This is a small release - after splitting stock with matchmaker, running testing on the line, will only be dropping 15 packs total so I have enough to f2 the line sometime. Terp profile : Grape, Sour, Gas, Skunk. This one isn't the most massive yields, but makes very dense, evenly sized, easy trimming, dank buds. Very resinous with grape and gas being the main smells and tastes. Many phenos will also display colorful buds when broken up. Easy growing, with 2x stretch, and a 8-10 week flower time depending on desired ripeness. Take later for the headstash, 8 week for the quick turnarounds. All in all, this new release is sure to please the picky smokers, and the "Fruit + gas" crowd as well.​

Got enough regulars it will be a good old flip and see thing when I grow them.
The new DFG are regulars and Jeff sent me several bonus regulars last time.
I might still be able to grow 4-5 strains all DFG and Hash Plant.

I did not get Hash Plant from Jeff.
They are my Ethos favorite. Ethos is retiring them.
I am sure I will give more of Jeffs stuff a go in the future.

Ok took the autos out of tent and just let them hang out in room.

Not sure if autos need or want 12/12 don't care~! They will do what they do.
Not real pleased all the way around. Tent is acting weird since start and the mainlines look crappy~!


^^Just about all have new leaves looking like this and have the whole grow. Light is 20%,RH is 55-60 temp rarely goes over 80. They straighten out as they grow which can be seen but this is basically the whole tent. Every top.

It is clear that 1 Zamal Dream and the Rum Runner will be flowering for maybe 2 more month~! They both look like week 2 candidates~!

So made it to 60f outside today and 92f in the room~!
Not what was needed. Turned the FC 8000's down to 75% and the AC infinity exhaust and intake fan speed to 10. The big lights just make a lot of heat.
The transformers aren't really even in the room~! They are in the metal duct after the exhaust fan.
Dropped night temp to 65 on heater and will check low temp tomorrow evening. May be able to switch the heater over to AC already~!
The plants did not need 92f. 4-6 will definitely be done this weekend if they make it that long and maybe 4 others as well for a total of 10 done~!
The heat and lack of nutes are whipping the leaves. I fed the slower and water only for finishers.
The buds look and smell great, but I know I lost 2-3 good weeks of better growth if I had fed enough.
Pulled tops off of a couple of the mainlines so they will have 8 tops each if they ever branch.
Everyone in tent got wholly mackerel and MG.

Once dialed in they worked great.
But they are not the easiest to dial in.
I would be leery indoors.
I had more than a few overflows trying to adjust through the grow cycle.
I will use the blu mats again for sure.
You still have to pay attention incase one does not open up before plant gets to dry.
It is hard/ impossible unless running and you see the wet soil to know where the pot is at without lifting or moisture meter.
I still used both even today~!

So would you recommend them for indoor growers? It sounds like the dialing in period is challenging. It also sounds like maintenance is just as time intensive as other irrigation systems.

I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons vs a system like the one I made which is more traditional. One of the things I like about a system like BluMat is that it feeds when the soil hits a threshold so it can feed according to plant needs rather than a schedule that the grower applies through his knowledge but if you have to monitor whether the sensing is actuating the BluMat I'm not sure how this system has an advantage over any other type of system.

I've never run them so this is not an indictment on whether they work or not but I don't see the advantages over other systems. Maybe your experience can fill in some of the knowledge gaps I have about that system.

If [slacker] I could get all but the 2ZD and 1RR cut then I think I could put them in the tent and change lighting in the room for the new.
I feel like I am cheating the tent plants from a good life. I don't think they are where they would be if they were in the room under more lights.
I can't turn the light over 25% in the tent. Got funny leaves going down to tops on branches now if they have branches.
When they come out I can up pot them also.
I won't mainline any of the others since most are tall now. Yours look so much better~! A little jelly. The tent is too crowded even with the autos out.
They are actually doing better than I thought they would in 12/12.
The 2 Zamal Dreams I have going now are close to what I expect a mainline plant to be like.
2 sets of 4 tops basically close to even in each set.
I will keep stripping the bottoms and not even bother growing what won't be there in flower.
I have learned a little from this brief contact with mainlining I think already. Always looking to up the game~!

i say twice a year that i'm not changing the controller clocks at all... and then every single time i walk by the controllers the wrong clock number haunts me and drives me insane for two days until i give in and change it!!! is this what ocd is? ..

here's one for ya... so we have an older jeep xj that has that deal where the doors lock when you drive it so every time you get out ya gotta hit the door unlock to open the back doors.. most of the time i just forget!! but you would think after all these years i'd know where the lock button is and which direction to push it... nope!!! not once.. always looking.. try one way hear nothing, try the other way till it makes noise... every time!!!

years ago i was working in japan for a over a month so i had to drive on the other side of the road the whole time. when i came home a care service dropped me off so i didn't drive yet since being there. well that next morning i had to run an errand and i was driving alone and got to an intersection to turn left and there was no other traffic around at all and i remember just stopping on the road because i couldn't remember which lane i should turn onto!!!!! i just sat there for a minute thinking about it!!!! of coarse jet lag and having a lower weed tolerance didn't help but yeah not one of my prouder moments!!!

I know I followed Moes info on the far red and he said they made little to no difference so they have not caught my interest.
I am interested in lights with adjustable spectrum though.
I don't think I will just go and replace my lights but they have had several grows and are not the best lights out there so I am preparing my mind to re invest properly.
Cut the 2 Mandarin cookies this morning. May get back out there for more before races.
Just seems some of these are drying out so I got to get them before it is too late.
My humidity in the room is under 40% even with the humidifier going at 55%. Probably from exhausting warm air and intaking fresh cool air?
May be able to seal the room again and use the AC instead of heater to help with RH.
I think the heater is off the last couple nights since a short power failure. It is digital and on an InkBird controller so always looks like it is off during the warm time.
Room has only gone down to 60f at night for a low so if winter does not completely return sealing it up may help with the RH.
All my procrastinating about sealing the room [running the duct work] has paid off again as I have come up with another twist that may help keep me from losing all the moisture that the loop pulls out.
Got the duct work running from exhaust fan across top of room and pitched properly.
I was going to let it have a small drain to drip into a Rubbermaid at a 90 and then continue to the intake fan.
Now I think I will run the duct right into the Rubbermaid top and draw air out from the side.
This will possibly act like a humidifier with all the air having to pass over the water in the barrel. Maybe add an airstone to help even.

Got a little experiment happening also. Last grow was in 5g buckets and this is 3g pots but many repeat strains.
I was thorough cutting and weighing the last grow so after these dry I can compare my take.
First look at the PG and MC says they are very close, but the scale will tell the tale.

I was reading specs the other day on some brand of light somebody here was using and the supplemental pucks just made no sense at all. It had me wondering if the people making those lights had ever grow a plant with them

And yeah...my CLW timers are separated by 4 seconds. It's irritating and fucks with my OCD but I took some online therapy sessions, did some yoga, and cussed out a random little kid so now I can cope with that 4 second lapse

Back when they didn't have readily made pucks people were using reptile bulbs for UV. I remember a friend that had heard about how they really increased the potency of your smoke got really excited and was telling me about how great his smoke was going to be. He found out later that the bulb only affected the immediate area where the bulb was placed and not the whole plant.
