those duds suck, one of the sour D did come up and is still in the VG and i'll probably use it just because i didn't get many non mutants from those so they're kinda pricey by this point.. i can fit an extra one or two in to choose from later,.

Looks like you gotta good start with the backups and that point down thing is giving you consistency!

so far so good, i still like sideways though, but ya only get a 50/50 shot of which side! points down though seemed to matter for shedding the helmets, i didn't have to help at all on any of these.

Finally got my pool sheet filled out and sent in today. Feeling pretty good about it. Leaned heavy on Toyota and Chevy dominating the start of the season then Ford finally coming around mid-season.
The flip flopping of Spring and Fall races got me a bit.

i kinda did the same thing.. i was a little nervous about the fords on the big tracks, not sure why... i feel better about my picks this year than ever before!!!!

Couple notables on my sheet...
Ty Gibbs 1st win at COTA
Gisburger winning at Watkins Glen and Mexico but The Dinger upsets him at Chicago
Haley FTW at Talledega Fall race
Bowman winning the 500
and KFB breaking out of his slump in Atlanta.

Not too sure about this Clash at Bowman Gray. Fuck that's a tiny track!!! IDK even know if we can count this as the actual start to the season.
I do know that I'm like fuck the Super Bowl this year and am planning my feast around Daytona

man i watched that primer show they had on fs1 about Bowman gray and after watching it i was even less excited for the clash!! wtf?!? i mean even JR is disappointed in it and he's excited about everything!!

this new nascar pres has done a terrible job and i'd rather have the oxy addict back in there!!! ya know i think that was Albany where he got busted with those pills years ago... Steam's near there!!! haha

i feel bringing back the name "the clash" years ago also brought along a curse for good entertainment. it was way better as the bud shootout and i think it was because Budweiser threw a bunch of money at it!!

but it will still be awesome to see the sights n sounds this weekend!!!! need to change my avatar!!!

two new coffees to try... having some of the murdered out right now, it's really freakin good!!!!



also picked up a new laser thermometer... i never liked my old one so i'm giving this one a try.. measures everything at once!!! also goes up to 1000° so not just for plants!!



and my cheap POS car stereo took a shit, still works just no display... heres a before and after shot of the new cheap POS i replaced it with...


it displays nav and music in split screen, thats pretty cool!!!

Briscoe always does well at Phoenix + he's won there.
The 19 always runs well there too so it just seemed like a perfect fit.

I also saw Briscoe and Larson are both even for the favorite to win The Clash.

If there was a second race at Richmond, Berry woulda been on my sheet twice. I think he's gotta win coming this year and it will be on a short track.
Dinger in Cup on road courses is just too good not to pick him. He might steal a win but I think he's at least top 5 on most of the road courses.

Yeah I think we're on the same page when it comes to makes and teams. There's tendencies there that are just too hard to ignore and with HMS and JGR it's kinda ez to fill in some blanks.

yep it has carplay for apple and android auto which i have. i've never used any voice stuff much but today i gave it a try.. i was like hey google.. navigate home,, google said i don't know where home is. why don't you tell me.... and so it begins... Xi and putin now know my address and where i live!!!! hahaha

pretty freakin cool though, instead of fumbling through buttons and accidently clicking things i don't want to it was really easy to just say navagate home and in seconds it popped up and started telling me which way to go.

it has some pretty cool features that i like, they sent a card with contact info and will send me updated firmware and also software to put on personalized splash screen shots when starting up!! i sent them a message this morning and they already replied on a saturday so that sounded promising!!

nascar has become a joke with this race for three years now Max... at least this year was an actual race track! last two years has been inside a velodrome where they race bicycles!!! just a shit show on their part.

i wish teams would have the balls to decline.. that would make them change it when all the big names bow out. nascar is nothing without the teams, i feel nascar has gotten too big for it's britches and needs a swift kick in the ass to get things back on track!
