yep, i was at a company picnic at the time, listening to it in my car!! got everybody high that day.. bosses and everybody, people that had no business smoking weed.. i tore em all up!!! hahaha

funny story about ernie irvin..

in the 90's one of ernie irvins cars was at a local spot and and a bunch of us at work were gonna go check it out at lunch. this dude hears us talking about it and asks if i would get him ernie's autograph.. i said no, drivers aren't there at all just one of his old cars not even a race engine in it.. he's like no but if he's there... i said he's not man.. he's not gonna be there.. he's still persistent after that i just said ok..

so like five or six of us go there and i grabbed one of those shiny cardboard driver cards for him and on the way back i signed it with a sharpie and said man look he was there, i got you an autograph.. he was so excited!!! the other guys didn't say anything.. he was showing everybody!!!! the whole rest of the day he was so excited and got so much work done!! so right before he left for the day i told him about it. he didn't believe me!!! he's like nah look it's ernies... i was like no it's mine!!! hahahahahaha i'm such a prankster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time I've ever seen Larson made available but he's not the only one. More than half the field will be in the fan zone this year.

i liked the track changes and the tire mod.. i think they could go even a little further with the tires and add even more fall off. makes different strategies work out better.

Plants are looking good and chugging along!

We had a blast man. I like the new track and tire fall off made the racing way more exciting. Now we can see the cars for the whole course instead of them disappearing for 90 seconds and we got 90 laps instead of just 60.

Briscoe and Bell were cool AF. Chatted up a bit, he signed my car, and we took a pic.
I thought the lines would be separate for each driver but it was a deal where we could meet and greet the 3 JGR drivers. I skipped past Hamlin and onto Briscoe and Bell but wish I had something for Bell to sign too. Hamlin and I kinda ignored each other because I had no interest to meet him and he had loyal fans behind me I didn't want to impede.
Briscoe and Bell were cool. I could tell a little bummed out because they had just come from qualifying. But still smiled, chatted, and laughed about the Brisky name plates. I think they thought my wife and I were just goofy fans having some fun.

I was a bit taken back by how small they all are. Like tiny humans Bro. Briscoe is tall so I was used to that but they are so small.
I'm used to seeing massive humans everyday. 6'4"/300lbs+ is common around my work and smallest guys are 5'10" 200lbs. Bell was like 5'9" and maybe 130lbs soaking wet. Briscoe was skinny AF and Hamlin was just a normal sized tiny human.
Larson looks small on TV so I can't even imagine how tiny he is in person. Probably like a horse jockey size. We never saw him due to timing of everything.

Yeah so each team or driver has a different protocol for meet n greet signings.
Pay to play, JGR was probably the best. Three cup drivers at once for $50 in JGR merch.
SVG was $50 in merch but only his merch. I couldn't combine SVG and Suarez to get to $50.

Hendricks was the most expensive.
Yeah Larson for $85 and for Bowman you had to buy a specific 1:24 diecast and he'd only sign the diecast.

Ford drivers and Chastain were most fan friendly. Ford drivers were all free but there was no Blaney, Logano, or Keslowski. Only the newer Ford drivers. Ford also provided 8x10 media cards to be signed.
Chastain and Suarez are men of the people. Suarez had his $50 signing then also a free meet n greet but wasn't signing, just taking pics and answering questions for about 10 minutes. Chastain had been making appearances all weekend, 2-3 each day except for Sunday but I'm pretty sure he tried to meet every fan he could Friday and Saturday.

You wouldn't be able to meet several drivers so you had to choose your fave on Sunday. Lines were super long and sold out and no way you could get one siggy then another 15 minutes later. Each driver line was probably 150-200 people deep.
I was glad I passed on SVG and Larson otherwise I woulda spent most of Sunday morning in a line.
Instead, I went to the Ford line and was 4th from the front when I got there after seeing the stormtroopers and Blaney.
The Ford guys were all cool. Gilliand, Zane Smith, and Gragson.
I told Zane I had his COTA win truck but forgot it so he signed a picture for me. Gragson was cool. Wearing his silly cowboy hat and all and I told him I was looking forward to seeing him getting his first Cup win. He gave me a signed picture but I also bought a tumbler for him so sign as well. Again...didn't realize those three fellas were so tiny!

I don't ever post selfie pics on these forums but WTH...I have a ton of DGAF's after my health scare so why not...Here's me and Noah with a Zane Smith photo bomb....



Busch was a character. Waved hi to my wife and let her take a pic even though she didn't buy anything and wasn't in his line. He's actually normal human size and not tiny

My wife loves the things and wants to use them at the football games. The intercom feature was well worth it.

What I do know now more than ever...Trackhouse has lost it's speed. Even SVG couldn't make up for the long run drop off that seems to be plaguing all of those cars at every track.

i had more used soil than i thought.. most of the goodies are in there already. i added some crab shell and since these are switching to flower soon i added a bunch of extra bone meal. gave it some fresh nematodes and watered in with great white and green aminos...



i have two bags of new stonington so i emptied it out into a tote and liberally applied nematodes (the rest of the bottle) and watered it down and clamped the lid on the tote.

i don't think these two and half buckets are gonna be enough.. i need about a gallon and half per plant and got fifteen plants.. i'm gonna hold it off for another day maybe two..

i'm gonna work on the shelf and try to make it big enough to hold all the final containers and keep them elevated. whether or not it's strong enough to hold them all we will find out together!!!! now that i type this out and think of the weight i'm not so sure.. i'll try it out sit on it and bounce a little!! haha how else am i supposed to find out.. haha

specs say 55lbs each.. i gotta look i might have two more laying here, i think i only used two of the four in dagobah. if so i'll put a total of six in, shit the plywood is gonna weigh pretty much on it's own.. IDK...

maybe i can lay a few cinder blocks under the table.. always unprepared!!! haha

i put in a back saver big enough to fit my final pots...



gave it a center post to take some weight!! should be good, i only want it for a few weeks till i'm done training then i'll put em on the floor.



this was hands down the smoothest and easiest upcan in years!!! not sure exactly why, everything just fell into place.. i did not have enough used old soil for all of them so the back two rows are my soil and the front two rows are coast of maine right out of the bag, with nematodes added!!!
please no gnats... please please please!!! it's ben so refreshing not getting bit when i water my plants!!!!!!! in fact i'm gonna order another bottle as soon as i hit post!!



so now i can get back to training and don't worry about having to disturb ties anymore.. bring on the eight legged freaks!!!!!



roots wern't as bad as i thought they would be...



and for the ice cream on top this is the only mess i made through the whole thing... pretty freakin good for me!!! haha

My wife has finally realized my thing about tables. I have this little folding one she's had designs on since she saw it when I was wrapping those lights for shipping. Then she saw the table with drawers I got for the extraction lab and she had to have one too. So I think I'm a table guy now. Let me know your needs and I can point to the table that's right for you hahaha.

Yeah this year COTA was the best IMO. In addition to all that I'm gonna change up our seats for next year if NASCAR comes back. Contract isn't done yet so COTA and 2026 are still not set but I think all that gets done soon as well as the next location for the street race.
Anyways, next year for the Cup race we'll move over to the stadium section and for Xfinity we'll get GA but with that there's a grassy berm between the main grandstands and luxury loge boxes where we'll sit. It's right across from pit road in the action where people pay thousands for those seats but the ga is only $30/each and we'll just bring our own lawn chairs.

So my pool and fantasy is just a mess bro. I'm holding on getting my rewards points but jeezus what a disaster my picks have become.
Finally realized yeah powerball is only 10 points but you have a chance to win more so that's how I got that 60 point bonus the first week.

That first ingredient being bark and the weight you're describing is likely from that bark being the majority of what's in the bag.
Give it the smell test. Does it smell like a bag full of wet sawdust and castings or earthy and rich?
Then check the drainage speed. How long does it take for water to pass thru and run off or does it run off at all and instead stay in the pot?
If it's not fast draining it will water log with that bark in there and later cause uptake issues and slow growth.
Prolly need to cut it with perlite by a ton if that's the case but it's why I avoid any soil with composted bark.

I haven't smell checked this one yet.
It is heavy. It's just a little side deal I'm checkin 10-4 on the hot level, I do plan on going threw it before I do anything, nothing else...chives bed strawberrys, I'll get going in some earth boxes.

Bags kinda heavy. Picked some up, 4 for 13$ so I figured why not. It's outta Oregon...IDK sounds a little hot to me,
Gonna put an auto in it for whatever and see how much hot it is.

He's fast in the turcks though so we'll see. Would be super cool to see him get the weekend sweep but IDK if there's any more room for more swag in his hauler. That thing was like the Kyle Larson traveling flea market!
Only thing missing was pitbull puppies with the #5 shaved into their coats but I didn't see behind the hauler so who knows...KL pit puppies might've been back there selling for $85 a pop, IDK





Ya know I still have never worn my BB shirt with the flying cow.
IDK if yours is like mine but it's super heavy and weighs like 5x more compared to what I usually wear.
I thought I'd wear it this Winter but it still never really got cold enough for me to wear it. Kinda like this really nice Texas bomber jacket I got issued to me a few years ago. Still have never worn it because it's too heavy

It is heavy. It's just a little side deal I'm checkin 10-4 on the hot level, I do plan on going threw it before I do anything, nothing else...chives bed strawberrys, I'll get going in some earth boxes.

i'm kinda bothered by the fact you say it's heavy. meaning it probably holds water. you wanna be able to hold a 2cuft bag under your one arm.

but yeah do the smell test, you of all people know what wet sawdust smells like. should have that rich earthy smell to it.

when it comes to organics i don't normally worry about how hot it is, the food gets absorbed quickly so it doesn't stay hot for long.

like these guys say try a small pot out one with a bad seed or something just to see.

We've got some hardball on the slate tonight so I gotta go dark and catch all the race action later. Weird weekend schedule with two late night games and then a mid afternoon Sunday tilt so I doubt I'll be able to watch any race live to enjoy it so just watch it later on dvr.
