Thug Pug in the House

1 of the thugettes took OFT for parts unknown, this is after being transplanted into their forever pot. Hungry bird would be my guess but i will cage the remaining Thugette and name her something suitable. Any suggestions on further pruning will be fine. Going to have to put out cinnamon tomorrow and look at some mesh surrounding the garlics.....

Thugette in cage mode, garlics coming along and show the same 3 fingered leaves they did inside. Fed everyone the tea fertilizer yesterday.

I had a blue dream that grew 3 fingers for the longest time. It always looked happy, but only had 3 fingers per leaf.
I finally had to hit it with a ridiculous amount of nitrogen to get it to cooperate.
Good news is that it didn’t affect it, it became a tree. It was almost 4 feet tall before it started throwing 5s and 7s.
It eventually became 7 feet tall, but it was really hungry.

@TomH any guess how tall these plants will get? They are 2 months old and have branched out nicely following up-potting. I have the Organics line of tea and switched this week to flowering food (red bag). I can add some additional nitrogen next feeding. I put down cinnamon as a border around all the plants and also have ProCrop 1 if I see the bugs coming. Thanks for following...

to be honest, I don't. The size of the blue dream that I grew caught me off guard. The previous year I had grown a different strain (which I cannot remember) but it was only about 3' tall. Blue was more than twice that size in the exact same piece of dirt. It was an outdoor plant which certainly helped.

Uh Oh, balls out in Thugland. Now what? Is it possible to just bring it to the backyard and let it give up their seeds or is that a bad idea? The garlics have gained size and resemble the insiders grown last time. Appreciate your thoughts.....

if there is a female PBB and if you want more PBB seeds you would produce f4.

I haven't grown out a male plant ever, and I think the TP wants f4 to happen. Between yesterday and today it sprouted a few more gnarlies; cue the video..You can hear the chimes wailing in front W8 4 it.

GOING IN THE TRASH!@@"%%/$ Too risky for the plants in the front. Still have more seeds. The outdoor garlics are very close to their indoor cousins in size and am watching for bugs. Watered and fertilized today.

The street light in front of our house (which has been off for the whole grow) was fixed and now working. I have these exotic night shadez in place, and they seemed to work OK. These garlics are 12 weeks old and filling in; so far so good20250130_062923.jpg

Update has the formerly scrawney lookin garlics are swelling and they got more nutrients and top dress/coconut H20,banannana water to encourage them. The blackout bags work fine, our weather still dry. All the basil plants like the weed fertilizer, can't play favorites. New shocks & Michelin man, 4 years on last set; roads awful here. Smooth....except for crack in deck...

Duploid and triploid leaf structure here -- after moving to a sunnier spot. Looks really different than the other ones.... they also look older, even though all are the same age. Who nose?
The difference 'tween a Hippo and a Zippo?
A hippo is an animal weighing tons, but the Zippo is little lighter.20250213_081620.jpg20250213_081538.jpg

Freezeman, anything to do with covering at night? Could still be some street light getting through. Anything to try or just let it be?

It needs a photo period. Apparently it didn’t like the amount of daylight it is receiving. You need to figure a way out to shorten that exposure.

OK and Happy Valentines Day. I will leave the night shade on 1 hour extra in the am and then see what is what....Thanks for the advice

Time for the girls to take a bow and get ready for indoor aircon and dehumidifier beautification. Yes, will compare dry weight to the indoor harvest....but SAVING 400 USD is pretty darn cool. i found 1 bug with the loupe and Shirley he'll be delicious dried.20250214_101341.jpg

Now at 11 sun, 13 night. We did have a rain storm right after harvesting so the leaves got all wet. Anyway this straggler will finish in good time. All future outdoor grows will have rigid light control including (damn right) flying monkees synchronistically dropping and raising the drapery. Next time I will germinate and sex inside -- then outside...
