Follow the law and court decisions when it suits your agenda. Do not follow any court decisions or laws, when it doesn't suit your agenda.

This is documented over and over again.

Trump admitted on camera, as he bragged about walking in on teen girls as they were in their dressing rooms at his beauty pagent. Some in varying stages of undress.

He bragged on camera that he walks up to women and grabs their pussy, without consent and added that he can act this way, because he is rich and there is nothing they can do about it.

And, tell me one good thing that has happened since the GOP took power in Washington. Just one...one thing that has helped humanity, fed starving children, protected woman's rights, protected veterans or improved the quality of lives, here in the US.

Government serves the people. And yet, its ok for this current administration to strip the people of all the benefits their tax dollars are supposed to fund. Instead, they steal and redirect the wealth even further into the pockets of the very people you claim to hate.

Separation of church and State does not exist as we see in this Christian nationalist movement that is 180 degrees from what the supposed belief in christianity is, whereby the foundation is built on forgiveness and helping each other, not stealing the parishioners money, while abusing women and children and most wars are and were fought in defense of these beliefs of power, and not actual peace and loving support of the community.

He bragged on camera, how he pledged not to date any little girls younger than his daughter and that he wanted to date his daughter if he could. What fucking man says his daughter is a piece of ass and that he would have sex with her?

He has been convicted of 34 felonies...oh hell it doesn't matter. We all know this and yet some people are okay with it.

Fuck, I am done with this shit. There is no washing this stench off of yourself. Pick a side and live with your decision, your decision will follow with you for the rest of your days. Good luck with that.
 
Again, I find myself feeling regret for my feelings and statements. I have grown to like and respect this community and it tears me apart to see the actual thoughts and beliefs of those which I held in high regard.

Please know this...if not corrected, this administration will leave an undeniable and irreversible landscape for our grandchildren and beyond. It will not be a landscape you wish on your loved ones, and your votes will have secured that future landscape for everyone except those whom you claim to hate.

I am of the mind that old hippies like me think alike. I couldn't be more wrong.

Having said that, I believe it might be a good time to bid everyone a good day and just keep to myself with regard to social media.

I made a point to get off of social media because of its toxicity. Thinking cannabis grow forums were a safe space, was a mistake on my part. And in the first months, I unknowingly ranted about the current administration and my apologies for having been insensitive and foolish in my beliefs that old hippies are all the same. I am confident some were offended and I apologize for my behavior.

But, I can longer accept this current administration as the norm. People will always agree and disagree. It's just NOT acceptable when actual women, children and families are harmed, as a result of these disagreements.

So, I will probably take a break and focus on my world, where I still have love, civility, honesty, integrity and caring for all mankind, no matter your color, race, religion, politics or sexual orientation. Just like an old hippie would do.

My apologies to all and feel free to feel your feelings and respond in kind. I, however will not further engage in this exercise. I am NO better than anyone here. I do not believe anything I have said will have any impact and I respect your rights to engage. My apologies in advance for not responding.

We have a 100% WOODS LOCK OUT If we walk our pets or stroll around for a hike on the trails its a $25,000.00 fine plus a $3000.00 victims sure charge plus tax. In small n nova scotia small c canaduh the gov has deemed it more dangerous to walk in the woods than drink and drive. We've had rain here 3 times in 3 weeks,I have a puddle in my driveway yet its still to dangerous to walk where there are trees. We might spontaneously ignite.

Don't let the good interactions get lost in the wash of eliminating all social media. This place hasn't had a lot of political talk that I've seen and it usually disappears after a rant or 2. We all vent once and a while.
I hate what our gov is doing to us but life goes on. Let it get to you and they win because they don't care. You do, and they don't care. You are the only one effected by it cause they are not. Its a one sided fight. Us against them and they don't care don't let it get to you. Live your best life

You're not alone and really what you've posted is pretty much verbatim in my experience online as well.
I've jumped from forum to forum when it gets too toxic or they fold tents. I think this is my 6th maybe? but definitely my last.
One forum got so toxic I jumped ship and hung out on a UK site just to get away from both sides of politics.
I can't tell you how to navigate it because it's hard for me at times too. It's almost like being a kid and that moment you realize Santa Claus is fake. Yeah who knew the other side of the coin of pot smoking hippies would be pot smoking hate mongers. I don't even know how that works. It's like a bad Dave Chappelle comedy skit.

BTW there's an ignore option to use so you don't have to see some posts or threads. I use it for two people on this forum but unfortunately it doesn't work on mods so you can't make their posts invisible

The one I'm struggling with is the comment that no one will have to vote again if he wins.. I'm very scared of anyone who wants absolute power, and to overturn democracy as we know it.

I'm not going to get into all my grievances but you said most of them above, thank you.

I still respect everyone here, my friends are maga, my coworkers aren't. My wife is Mexican, and while she is legal, it's very scary what's going on with the "worst of the worst" out there. The worst of the worst isn't a 5 year old getting cancer treatment, or kids at baseball practice being questioned what country their parents are from.

Love you guys, and hope everyone has a great day. We have more in common than our political differences i believe, much love to all. We are the people

Sorry this is what it comes down to. This is my thread and from day one I have allowed all to have a voice and an opinion. I may not like your opinion, but I respect it. I am also respectful of your opinion. I also demand that as well.
I don’t just like people because they agree with me. If we were all the same it would be a pretty boring world. It’s too easy to just scroll on by.
I have never regarded myself as a “old hippie “ and more than likely never will.
I also have never lambasted you for your beliefs..I could..but that would be narrow minded. I could absolutely tear you apart over what you believe and bring the receipts to prove it. I won’t because once again that would be disrespectful to your opinion.
Fits like this will not stop me sharing my opinions either.
No one has asked you to leave or otherwise and if someone spoke to you, like you just did me..trust me I would have defended you.

One thing that has been bandied about is a democracy. We have never been a democracy we have always been a republic.
I can’t imagine the fear your wife lives with. I have zero against immigrants, the ones that come here legally and have put in the time to obtain citizenship. Because of the way it was done, everyone must deal with the fall out.
I loved you before I found out that we politically disagree, and I love you still.

The only thing I directed at you specifically, was my first sentence, regarding the courts holdings up the files.

Please know the remaining text was just directed at the whole country of US citizens. The entire thing that we are all experiencing.

I clearly expressed my apologies and hoped that no one took offense. I only posted what was reported on the news and not propaganda.

I am not trying to hurt or offend anyone. If you can educate me the same way you did about the changing of names for sports teams etc. I would love that. I didn't know that side of that story until you educated me, and I truly trust and believe your side of that story.

Just saying. Actually, most news broadcast 'stories' with more opinion than fact how I see it. They just can't control themselves and too many people eat it up.
I don't 100% trust or believe any one channel.
Whenever I hear a story, I have to think oh they are X and they are on Ys side.
I don't believe there is one honest news broadcast. Certainly not one that is truly in the middle and fair despite many saying they are fair and unbiased.
Every day I am left to decide whether I believe it or not.
I am responsible for what I think, but not how I have to think.
A little honesty would go a long way, but it seems to be missing today.
It has been missing for decades IMO. It is getting worse every election it seems.
The 'mud slinging' has become accepted and facts are hard to find or completely missing.

If the Dems could have buried Trump with the Epstein files, why didn't they? They had 4 years. Something must have kept them from allowing the truth to come out. Shared guilt is my belief. They are all scum.

Yes, now we agree. All are guilty. Finally. It's not us against each other. It's us against them. Why isn't Matt Gaetz in prison. He admitted sex with a 17 year old and doing cocaine on the house floor. No, instead ass hat tried to appoint him the AG role.

My only concern is that all news outlets except one entertainment network that massages the problem, are all in agreement and all have the same footage of his acts. It is clearly documented and legit. He says and does it out loud in front of everyone. He is not hiding it. They are not hiding it.

Just saying.

, yes the video could be faked , but this quote has not been disputed by him. It's crazy, and after January 6, I'm worried he might attempt something radical again. Seems like his own militia he's making with ICE and now the national guard.

I’m not upset, nor disappointed in you! I’m just a salty ole wench that at times may take exception to the way I feel I’m being spoke too. Then I get all sassy and stuff.
I don’t want you to leave because we all share different views. If you need to leave for your wellbeing, I understand..but I’m NOT telling you to leave.
I can’t promise you there will not be more talk, or things that will piss you off or make you feel uncomfortable. As I said I have refused to allow censorship of any kind on my thread.
I have heard stories from my Elders about my people being censored. Stolen, beaten, whipped and forced to speak a new language so I feel very strongly against censorship of any kind, period.

You and I both are lucky enough not to live in those shit holes currently being cleaned up. Seventy five dead children just this year in DC, not one case solved and until a couple of weeks ago every single one of those children were black. Looks like a genocide of yet another culture to me.
Now about news, it’s all propaganda. We are all being asked to think with our own minds and not rely on a modern day psyop.
I simply typed in “who will not allow the E files to be opened..and this popped up. Both Dem and Repub news sources, but they tell a different story than Trump hiding/closing/opening.

Mainstream media all says the same thing because over 95% of all media outlet, TV, radio and print are owned by just six corporations.

We have to dig for context if we want the truth in this age of disinformation

For example Trump cleared up his statement about Christians never having to vote again, but how many have actually bothered to read what he said about it when asked?

Most just listening to the Mockingbird media's Talking Heads that only repeat the narrative of 'orange man bad' and that's all most know unless they look for themself.

Do you happen to have a firing range at home? I had three good safe spots at my fathers farm depending which caliber. Bigger the bang the further from the house.

Just my two cents on political post, I don't believe cannabis boards should allow political comment, I don't think it's the right place for it because it's not relevant to cannabis and it doesn't enrich the board, from my experience it only divides it. I saw this first hand 10 years ago as a gro-mod for Bergman, before the political environment was anywhere near as bad as it is now. It's the reason I left Cannabis boards back in 2020.

I’m going to attempt to explain this without sounding crass.
This is my thread. When I came here Moe said. My thread, my rules. One of the things that I have said from day one..zero censorship on this page about anything. That includes political comments. I have also said anything may be discussed as long as we respect one another.
While I understand and respect your opinion I also say making rules that don’t allow free thought, free individuals, free opinions etc. would be damn boring.
Seeing posts about each other, our kids, our animals, our plants, our homes etc. is what makes this page what it is. Am I to disallow that as well because it’s not weed related?
I’m not here to “allow” or disallow anything other than disrespect among users for differing opinions. Or just disrespect in general.
My very roots as a Native American demands freedom.
The political climate is hot as you say. All the more reason we should continue to try and talk about it.
I can see this is well received among others because of the numbers on this thread. One million views, 20k in comments.
I respect your opinion, but am very unlikely to change my position on this subject. I’m just being honest.
With that said, I enjoy you being here and sharing with us. If politics wind one up, it’s just too darn easy to scroll on by and spend time on things that do interest us and makes us happy.
PS..Your two cents are always welcome here!

No chores yesterday a trip into the city with the gf’s to eat and a good slow ride through the backwoods home 🥰
In answer to your questions, no. No 600 yard clearing here, and even if there was, I wouldn’t use it. The deer are like dogs in my front yard.
