Yep. CG puts a bit of raw honey in the split first. I haven’t tried that yet but taping or tying it closed works as long as some skin is still attached.

i thought about it for a second.. i got lazy.. it was getting dark and i didn't time and didn't feel like rushing around to do it. i lifted the one branch and it snapped the other way and came off. i've tied and wrapped branches up before and you're right, it is remarkable just how resilient they can be to a split repair.

split the branch, tie it or wrap it and she never misses a beat, no wilting or anything.. miss one watering and she's all like wilt city... females!! i'll never understand them!!

The plants are covered with thick condensation that takes forever to dry along with mid low 40s most nights.
I have blown them off in am but it really is too much to be good. It does not completely dry until full sun exposure. If it was cloudy they may stay wet all day, like it was raining.
I have found 2 small spots of rot each on separate plant.
Nothing big and clearly just were a dead leaf had settled or the like from outdoors.

yeah it's the like or not comment is where i'm at right now.. i'm not ready yet.. just hope i don't get caught with my pants down. i know i need to fire up my genny for a test.. plow truck too.. i just started building a new chicken run because the current one won't last another winter. i'm hoping my furnace is good and i don't need to service that till next year, i mean it's less than a year old yet... i checked the filters yesterday and ill clean those but i'd rather not get a new nozzle and learn how to change that out yet..

whatever happens to those outdoor plants is fine with me. i only put them out there because i didn't have the heart to kill em off when i couldn't use them in my last soil run, they were the three leftovers. if i get something then great, if not then thats fine too.

i bet leaves are falling like crazy up where you are!!! we're now just getting the acorns to drop. fruit tress and maples are still green yet but i expect that to change any day now. this week is the first week this summer that we didn't hit 80 all week, no sight of that in the forecast either... looks like it's gonna rain on my birthday...



so in just a couple weeks we are wall to wall carpeting in here!!!!!!!



i really need to thin the heard!!!! some i only grew just to fill the tubs and try growing older plants right next to seedlings just to know that i could so i can try some regs out. the roswell codes were just a test. the only reason i grew the purple blizzard is because that seed only cost me 65 cents!!! not really any other reason.. i don't want them. i just want the trop cherry, the freak and the chocolopes. the rest i could care less about and will get given away or tossed out.. once i have the two chocolopes to move over to the recirc scrog i'll most likely stop using that tub and turn that light out. that will help me balance out turning on the scrog side lights. for now i have pretty much everything turned off, even the air pump.. i had a ridiculously high power bill last month that i still haven't fully recovered from financially so i'm hoping i can get a better one this month to help balance it out. i'm prolly gonna thin those chocolopes out a bunch just so i can keep em in there a little longer. they're clearly not upset about being in the tubs, they have no clue as to how good it's gonna get!!!! hahaha

thats just the reflection in the water of my blurple lights.. i'm running all white and blue with just half the amount of red in the spectrum. i set the same power and spectrum that they've been vegging on this whole time. i raised the ppms a little and that was about it, hoping for a seamless transfer from one setup to the other.

I think it was ninja but someone sent me some seeds, one of them is a raspberry parfait, I'm dieing to mother it and clone it out and do a proper run with all female clones for once

It sounds good, hope it lives up to the name.

And then I got some others id like to see too.

Maybe on my second or third paycheck I can get some grow supplies and get started back up.

Unfortunately this is a trend that needs to stop much like the tiktok challenge of licking ice cream at the store or peeing on produce.
First thing, anybody calling themselves an influencer or first amendment auditor is a fake poser POS and the only reason they do this is for internet clout.

The food is merely a prop for pictures. After the picture, they rarely eat or drink the food and throw it away. Starbucks Unicorn drink is probably the biggest villain in all this and went viral for trash cans outside being full of drinks that were only used for pictures.
We see it here too because there's a few trendy spots and influencers are moving to Austin in droves so there's an ice cream shop, a coffee shop, and taco shop all with a selfie spot mural, all selling trendy brand food, and all have a line of influencers outside doing their content and throwing the food away without even tasting it.
Harassing fast food workers and baristas is another stupid trend. Like minimum wage workers don't have enough shit to deal with, you get these assholes not even there to eat.

What makes this one an even bigger POS is him trying to get a refund after he got his clout. Social media is the downfall of our existence and brings out the worst in people.

A recent one that pissed me off was one pretending she was picking up trash from the beach but this dumb bitch put dirftwood in trash bags and when it got too heavy she left the fucking bags there on the beach so she actually made the beach worse then before she got there.

nice!!!! i started the whole clone thing again too.. i am shocked just how fast the hydro vegges them and i get cuttings quick.

last week i took cuttings of the trop cherry and we have roots now so one of them went into the tote and once i feel comfortable with it i will get rid of the mom plant.

did some house cleaning... got rid of the trop cherry mama..



hacked up the third chocolope and took eight cuttings of her...



so out of the nine cuttings of the trop cherry three did not root.. the rest rooted in 7 or 8 days though so i gotta take that mini victory but i'd like to improve that rooted ratio a bit. some of it may be the temperature. the heatmat i had on it died after all these years and i think i need to source a new one.. t's an odd size at 12" x 8" and i think i might have trouble finding one. i might have to switch to a small aquarium heater.

but after i get the chocolope clones i will take cutting of the fruity freak!!!! her side shoots are finally long enough and enough nodes to try!!!!!!!!



the other two chocolopes are doing well in the recirc system..



they're like yippee... we're growin some blades now!!!!!! double digits!!



i topped them both the other night like i said i was... i'll be topping the second stage soon as they are already on the second node of the top shoots, i'll top that third node off and that should be the last time i need to prune. i really like how the structure is growing all the side branches taller than the centers.. should be great for scrogin'



and i already started the defol and trimming... i'm really gonna try and keep up with it this time!!!

I don.t understand how Kez could be without a ride next year when guys like Ty Dillion and Gragson do. Just seems like if a team can upgrade, they should, even if just for one year.
He says there's nothing to Dodge but yeah lots of freaking tidbits says otherwise. 25 truck with the rest of the old timers makes sense until the Cup car is ready if it ever is.
Creed is going to the 26 in the Ofinity series. Seems to be a middle pack car so IDK, Creed might be a lifer in that series if he can't do better than that.

i'm wearing them right now man.. i haven't worn them outside yet, i'm really afraid to get chicken shit on the bottoms. they're comfortable. there was no "break in" at all, slipped em on and made ohhhh noise out loud!!
i really like the arch in them, one of my many human defects is i'm also flat footed so the arch is very welcomed, hoping it holds up. i like the wider toes than the Pegasus, fits my hammer toe better... haha yeah my feet are terrible!
the heels are very spongy.. they actually caught me off guard and i was crouching in front of the fridge and they sunk in and i lost my balance and rolled back.. i won't do that again!! but just standing on solid ground they feel good and then i it the fatigue mat and wowzers they really cusion!!!!
i don't mind the color at all.. if anything its the whits that worries me of keeping clean...

can't wait to try out that taco sauce man... for the life of me though i know i saw t before but i can't remember i saw it from you posting or in my local store!!! hahaha

Of all the drivers and all the shuffling in these five or so years into racing, the guy I pick is steel and your guy is the magnet. The way this has all played out being organic and unscripted, Hollywood couldn't write it up better.
The universe is just a funny thing man. I don't get it, but it's fun AF.
I wasn't expecting a 75 point haymaker comeback from the 19 but LFG!!! 5 team was gonna run away with it like an F1 season or some shit if that didn't happen.
It's OU week 'round here. Time to lace up the Vomeros and stomp some land thieves!! Finally cooled down a bit for proper football weather too!

i think the 23 was the only one that got close enough to even have a shot and he burned all his shit up just trying to get there... it wasn't a very fun race for me in the beginning, then before the 1st stage end the 11 spun..
then i got exciting as ever!!!

but the 5 car had nothing on the 19 this week... used it all up and then some just trying to even get close...

so i'm reading your message thinking about how that feels and then my neighbor rings me and he's at the doctors with his wife because she has bad flat foot and just bought special shoes and inserts for $1600... holy shit!!!

my feet suck though, i also have neuropathy in them from my diabetes. it doesn't hurt as much on the bottoms but i no longer have feeling in every spot of my feet. makes for shitty balance. as more and more nerves die off the pain is less. up until a couple years ago i never wore sneakers, they were always uncomfortable in the past. i wore mostly sandals and boots at the time.. it had been many years since i tried sneakers at all.. then Bandit says he'll change my mind of that and sent me a pair, they were better than what i was wearing and ended up having way better balance with them. so i bought another pair and have had them for over a year now with no issues. so now i'm a sneaker guy i guess!!! my other ones are all black so they hide the dirt nice..

but man these things are white!!!!!

i think the 23 was the only one that got close enough to even have a shot and he burned all his shit up just trying to get there... it wasn't a very fun race for me in the beginning, then before the 1st stage end the 11 spun..
then i got exciting as ever!!!

but the 5 car had nothing on the 19 this week... used it all up and then some just trying to even get close...

so i'm reading your message thinking about how that feels and then my neighbor rings me and he's at the doctors with his wife because she has bad flat foot and just bought special shoes and inserts for $1600... holy shit!!!

my feet suck though, i also have neuropathy in them from my diabetes. it doesn't hurt as much on the bottoms but i no longer have feeling in every spot of my feet. makes for shitty balance. as more and more nerves die off the pain is less. up until a couple years ago i never wore sneakers, they were always uncomfortable in the past. i wore mostly sandals and boots at the time.. it had been many years since i tried sneakers at all.. then Bandit says he'll change my mind of that and sent me a pair, they were better than what i was wearing and ended up having way better balance with them. so i bought another pair and have had them for over a year now with no issues. so now i'm a sneaker guy i guess!!! my other ones are all black so they hide the dirt nice..

but man these things are white!!!!!

The duality of Larson showed itself again on that last lap. Dude is just a walking checkers or wreckers at this point.
You know that's the 8th special paint scheme he's wrecked? he may need to stick to the main wrap for the rest of the Chase haha!
I don't mind if Larson wins it all again or even if Hamlin or Logano finds a way but I just wanna see crazy edge of your seat racing until the final stage at Miami. If the Cup champs lead changes hands several times in the races leading up and in that one, I'm purring man. Even Saturday night was great action and and even better last lap! The more of that the better in all 3 series.

That is some icy white on the bottom of those kicks! Just gotta say fuck or just like keep them on carpet for their whole life haha!
Those, I usually wear to maybe 2-3 games and keep them nice then they become daily drivers and I wear them out because of their support. I have a rare gray pair from like 6 season ago I still keep looking good and don't walk in any dirt wearing them but that's sorta ez in the city.

I took a chance and stepped out of my Nikes to test a pair. Not only did I keep them, I went online and bought two more pair. One in NASCAR and one Margaritaville I got both for half off.
Ridiculous comfort and surprising all day support. I wear like slippers and go no socks but use powder and throw them in the washer often.
They make several types and I keep getting the Wally Flex Sock for the wide support and cushion soles

Them ones are tns but I also have air max’s and 270s new balance are a great shoe they may be my next shoe purchase

thanks Max, most days i have little problems with it anymore, it was worse in the past but i think i just kinda got used to it. but i do miss being able to just walk around barefoot or in socks sometimes though.

i keep resisting because i don't want to feel old but i think i should put safety handles in the shower. i installed two of them for my mom in her shower and she really like them and says she feels safer with it. i've had a few close calls over the past couple years and have gotten lucky to grab the door or shelf to keep my balance but one day i feel my luck will run out.

oh my look how clean those are!!!!!! i've never had shoes or sneakers that i kept in the box like that and only wear once in while, i either wear them or i don't.. and usually i wear them till the wheels fall off!!! haha

i've had the pegasus for more than a year now and they have been holding up. the gortex isn't 100% anymore, the toes get damp now in the rain. but for a long time these things were completely waterproof. i'd buy another pair thats for sure!!!

treads are getting a little thin on a couple spots but they still seem to have great traction!! and this tread it just build for a full on country boy, i don't get to walk on sidewalks or streets often. mostly dirt, forest, and grass and these storm treads always stay clean and nothing really sticks to the bottom at all.. thats's also another great selling point for me that might not matter to others.

but these things have taken a beating and have held up just as good as any timberline or boots that i've owned. i was so hesitant and worried about spending $160 on sneakers but they turned out to be worth it and glad i took the chance!!! one of the tips recently came unglued so i put some two part epoxy in there and they've been holding up!

ya know i knew larson's track record wasn't good in special paint wraps i think he has one win ever with a special paint, and that was with chip ganassi... but i didn't realize he wrecked em all!!!!! hahaha

this week will be even more amplified i think... and next week... whooo look out next week at dega... the chase at dega!!! are you freakin kidding me... it's gonna be a total checkers or wreckers that week!!!!!! i'm not a fan of super speedways but this one will be great, well maybe not the whole race but for sure the big ones and the ending will be exciting for sure!!!!!!!

Hell yeah Dude that machine is perfect for those sneakers!
By agitator I mean how some washers have a tall plastic mixer thing in the center that can be taken out on some machines but was built in and permanent on older machines.
Yeah that, warm to hot water, and a good powder detergent with oxy is even better and they'll come out looking great.
If you can stop the machine before it goes into a high speed final spin, even better to prevent any warping or twisting from the force then just air dry. Put on your feet wet if they need reshaping then let dry.

That's cool your goretex has held up like that man!
I actually wear out my shoes from the inside out. They can look great from the outside but I have some messed up protruding Achilles that wear out the back insole fast.
I wear out socks faster than normal too, always getting a premature hole on the back of my heel. I found Puma socks hold up for me better than most, even Nike and Puma adds comfort.
Once the fabric breaks on the inside the whole shoe is pretty much done since it will tear up the back of my heels well beyond blisters.
I've had glue fail on old pairs too. I think a lot of shoe glue has something like a seven year time limit as well. Some vintage sneakers cant be worn because of that
