those were the biggest wooden tips i saw at a decent delivery and price.. i might have to custom some plastic ones like the bigger size. and bandit mentioned the OG purple rose ones, i think those might be more of the size needed but i'm not 100% sure.

My love of cooking comes from grandmother, and she always called it dressing.
So its just stuck even though my parents call it stuffing.
And if you ask my father in law, they're both different?
He says dressing is cooked seperate where stuffing goes in the bird?

my grandma was a terrible cook, the only tip i ever got from my grandma was what a refrigerator is not supposed to smell like!! haha
my parents is where i get my love for cooking. my mom is a good cook and probably had to be because her mom was so bad at it. and my dad was an even better cook so i learned all the fundamentals from them. plus my dads brother(uncle) was a chef and owned his own restaurant growing up so i was always around a kitchen of some sort. his place was my very first job as a kid, well tax free anyway!! hehe i think it was like $4 or 5 dollars an hour, i was so excited makin the big bucks!!!!! haha
i've heard more than a handful of people also saying this from asking around outside the forum.... i'll still call it stuffing, and i never put it inside the turkey... ewww!!!

testing out my new BIG rib sous vide cooker!!!!! so far i give it a B+, almost up to temp now and if it continues to be this good i'm gonna cut a hole in the lid and make it non returnable and then i own it!!!
there is a slight bow in the sides but holding up well. i could make a sleeve to hold the shape better if i wanted. it has a cooking size of at least 17" x 13" x 10" deep. it's a little bigger than that if i need to crowd it up but that's the comfortable cooking size with good circulation all the way around. i need it to cook four racks of ribs and two pounds of wings for next wednesday. i'm going to custom make a rib rack to hold them all and i think it will work well.
and it cost less than $25!!!!! sue-veed for life now!!!!!

i had to make a saddle for it, i didn't like how much it bowed once up to higher temps (over 160*).. hind sight i should have bought the stronger bin, but that one didn't have a lid. so i either make a lid or make supports... i made supports.
i filled it back up and it doesn't flex at all... not even a tiny bow anywhere!!!! took about ten minutes and the wood was just scraps..
i'm really glad i didn't go any smaller though, the four racks should fit in there about right..
i bent an old oven rack to try and make something to hold them in place but not sure if i'll use it or if it even works well for that matter. i have a couple other ideas so i'm just gonna wing it and whatever works best i'll go with.
still haven't decided if i will leave them full st louis cut or trim them down to baby backs... i guess it will come down to how much time i have tomorrow night.
but if i had to do it over again i might have opted for this bin... and then just mad a lid...

(he should be used to doing that by now!) this o'connel isn't bad, just young. he's made some mistakes but seems to learn from it. who knows!!!
if they do find a real head coach he's just going come in and fire everybody anyway so he can bring all his friends in. and then trade away any good players in contract so he can bring in useless unproven talent that he feels is the next big thing that's gonna save his "team". just like they've been doing for the past 15-20 years!
i'm still wondering what is rock bottom for them. keeps gettin deeper!!!

and i decided to give liquid smoke an honest try... small bags are pecan and big bags are hickory!! the bottle i had was ancient and i didn't want to use it because it was from the 80s i think.. i was once told by a texan to never ever use the stuff, he was the first texan i ever met. so fast forward twenty years and different texan says it's okay to use.... verdict is out!!! i'll let y'all know!!! i probably should have looked up how much other people use or maybe even read the label but where's the fun in that?!?!?! so i gave each rack two to three gentle shakes in each bag. it smelled smoky.. i'm gonna smother them in bbq sauce anyway so how bad can it make them!
so in the meat jacuzzi they go for 36 hours at 150 degrees!!!!

been working on my buddies 70 nova, got er stripped down pretty good.. we put all tube a arms in last winter... these are so you can slam the front end down from a two foot wheel stand and not bend shit up!!!
getting ready for roll cage and primer/ paint....
and it's now officially a two seater!! gonna have a rear seat delete kit put in...
doors and windshield have also been removed since i took pics, just easier to paint the jams and now his make shift paint booth doesn't need to be as wide without doors!!
say bye bye to that ugly ass green!!!!
also got to drive this mean SOB last weekend.... twin turbo!!!! freakin nasty... like hold on to your shit nasty!!!!
our buddy bought it earlier this year and we were putting in a windshield and side windows along with some fender flares. we got done super late at night and never got finished pics but don't worry it's still nasty!!!! hehehe

You did give me an idea though....I have some old coolers out in the shed. I bet the big one would make a great SV tub!
Man I so want the Raiders to be better. I like the NFL a lot more when the old school teams are in the hunt. Give me some Raiders, Steelers and Cowboys & Niners in the super bowl hunt. None of this Jville Jaguars, Chiefs, and Bucs garbage.
Coaches are on odd trend lately...Seem to either be and old grizzled and gravel voice ex lineman or some new school super nerd on the sidelines these days.
If I was Vegas I'd be tempted to throw a draft pick or two at Seattle and lure Pete Carrol away. Get somebody who knows how to build a team in there.
As for QB's...the draft has a few this year. I like Penix and Nix. Williams is a really good player but eccentric and bit of a head case and the Raiders don't need any drama. Justin Fields might come on the market. After that it's hot garbage. Not sure how Jimmy G is even on a roster. Can he even throw it past 10 yards? Him on a roster while Colt McCoy is at home is so fucking stupid.
Ewers will be off the Horns next year and in the draft. He'll be a very good one then in 2-3 years we'll be sending the next Manning up to the league. I guess the one good thing about Vegas lacking a winning QB is that so is 80% of the rest of the league

scaffolding!! thats funny stuff!!!!i thought of a cooler as well. i didn't have an extra laying around that was big enough. i have one that i rest briskets in but it wasn't wide enough.
but yeah, the right size would be awesome with the insulation already in place!!!
i'm about 5 hours from finish now!!! so excited!! i just put a few dozen wings in the water. i was cooking wings at 160 but i only want the ribs at 150, i gotta finish it all off in the oven anyway so they should be fine. i also normally only cooked the wings for two hours and this will be almost five.

great coaches are hard to come by anymore. the raiders have gone through so many head coaches over the years and none of them have really done well. i think maybe jack del rio might have been the only guy in a long time that had anything substantial happen.
one good thing the raiders have coaching wise is the owner pretty much stays out of it and lets the coach and gm run things, it's just the last few have run things into the ground! so maybe not so good. i just hate to see a good team get ruined by the owner like the skins did.
we will see!!!! raiders for life!!! and yeah i think Nix would make a great fit, not sure though, have a gut feeling they're gonna go lineman on the early picks.
speaking of pics... i gotta get some shots of all this food!!! ribs, wings, mac n cheese, cornbread, salads and sides.... oh man it's gonna be a good one!!! and on top of it i have the fresh dill growing downstairs to garnish the ribs with!!!!
yeah there will be one!! probably in the trunk though.. that rear area is kinda tough to reach once the cage and racing seats are in.

it's been a minute since i updated anything grow related.. my plants have been through hell this round! choked em off at seedling age, overwatered, underwatered, i tried to prune them and accidentally FIM'd five of the six.. two weeks later when i realized it i went back and topped the five.. they did not like that at all!!! then i torched em all with nutes, blasted em with too much light a few times. the list just goes on and on.. they're still not happy... i plan to upcan them and move them over to the flower cabinet and see if i can get some good stretched out growth so i can flip the switch and just get this grow done already!!!
here's a far away shot because they don't look good enough for closeups!!!! i finally get to use this emogi...
the only two that look good are the two in the front right and that's only because they're gifted clones and i didn't grow them!!! haha
but i did make some progress on the flower cabinet. took out the turntable and changed out the light hooks and this gave me an extra eight inches on headroom. for the first time ever i can stand under my lights without ducking!!!!
also added a bug screen and moved my winch controllers to the front cleaning up the middle a little better and making it easier to reach them.
so this is what i have to work with...
i'm going to set in tray tilting boards and a piece of 1/4" osb board with my plastic tray on top. if i have time tomorrow night i'm going to upcan six of them and move them over and veg till i'm happy and then flip from there.
hopefully start the new year on the up n up with the plants and move forward from here!!!!!
so heres to leaving 2023 behind!!!!
and lets hope that's the view everybody has for the 24 season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just found they have days listed for pruning that will accelerate growth or slow growth~!
Would not want to get them mixed up. Who knew??
Not for nothing but I will try not to go completely against it in the future~!

Not sure how I dropped the ball here Stoney , thanks for the offer , but got one in process and think I’m gettin in on that 3d printer thing y’all got goinnot that much of a learning curve with it, kinda simple just fill and pack down tight. i went a little at a time with it. added a pinch or two of herb then tamped it down, added some more tamped it down... repeat.
coat it in concentrate of your choice and twist it up!! you'll figure it out in no time man.. kinda like a pizza, even if it comes out a little messed up it's probably still pretty good!!! hehe
that a corvette, it belongs to his father in law. the deal was if my buddy would store four cars his father in law would pay for the building and the lifts!!! so he just made the building a little bigger than he originally wanted to hold the cars for him.. it only ended up being the three cars though so worked out even better for him.

that sucks yours stuck so bad. i never thought about the grinder point you made but you're right it always sticks to those as well. i wonder if you could coat it with something, or maybe try to polish it. my 3d printer leaves lines and grooves in though and not smooth. nothing sticks to mine at all, had it pressed for more than 24 hours and it popped right out. i wiped the mold out with the inside of my shirt and it looks good as new!
you mentioned you had some teflon. i bet that would work, UHMW would be good too i bet if you have access to any.
but man if you don't wanna go through all that again it's no problem i'll print ya one out if you want?

I’ve seen those tracks cars/trucks launch 40/50 feet double jumps on super cross tracks during intermissionsthose gliders are very cool!!! i like watching those things, but never had the balls to try one!! there are so many compilation videos of people crashing them... i can't watch those man.. thousands of dollars just smashed in seconds!! noooooooo!!!
theres not many stock parts left on my traxxas anymore.. i've modified pretty much everything on it to make it heavier, faster, more powerful, and as low of a center of gravity as i can get!! but yeah she's mean and salty!!!!!!

i remember having an rc10... i think a hornet and a fox too!!!! rc10 might have been the first serious rc though, that one came stock with bearings versus most had bushings back then. i bet i still have some parts from back then packed away somewhere!!! i used to poke roofing nails out through the tires to make them spiked and we would rack on frozen pools with em!!!!

i bet that 70 nova and yours were real similar!!! he has work in the front end on that thing.. its all tube front end with a mean motor in her. he is putting an all fiberglass front end on to save weight. she's be a frightening. all the work he's doing is pretty much so he can do wheelies, it's his main goal with car since he bought it!! i'll take some pics of that nova tonight!!!
and that fancy car is really a Genesis but they're a sister company of hyundai... their goal is for you to look at the genesis and never think hyundai. i think they succeeded!!!! the thing is pimp man!! the tachometer turns into a monitor of the cameras when you put on the turn signal!!!

So I think a quick version is to prune when the moon is waxing [ growing from new to full].
They say it pulls liquids to the upper parts of plants. Same for cloning.
Pruning when the moon is waning [ shrinking from full to new] is discouraged as it says moisture/liquids are drawn to the lower part of plant/ soil.

yeah i saw Granny talkin bout that too... you're correct, it can't hurt one bit. i follow the farmers almanac for all sorts of things so why not the secret garden too.

so i picked up some of that soft bendy wire that MoeRed suggested on my last grow but it turns out the stuff has great tensile strength as well and i needed something better than the strings i used last time to hold up the yoyos.. with a turnbuckle this stuff gets banjo string tight!!! and the yoyos don't slide around, they stay right where ya put them!!!
and ya know guys i really wasn't sure which plants i was gonna upcan and move over to the other cab.. so i moved them all!!

middle row.. Sicky Icky, Alien Rock Candy, Tropicana Cherry
front row.. Critterz, Watermelon Gelato, Max A/C
all in stonington soil with crabmeal and archaea added. mixed and pre moistened with two quarts of water in each bucket. watered in with just a couple cups of great white and grogreen green amino.

Um ya, that took me a minute to think about. It’s the little things from our past that get ya.
I have a few. Including a Red Ryder that I found in the basement rafters. I cleaned it up but someone burned their initials into the stock.
Christmas was okay. Different. Grandkids and most of my family is hours away now. A lot passed the last few years. Same with my wife’s side.
We had a few nephews over and a cousin who’s more like a brother in law. Been friends for 30 years or more.
Quiet and relaxing for the most part. Enjoying the faces as they open or watch another open gifts. Share meals and drinks.
Then a few days of back to back smoking.
I think 4 of us missed Boxing Day entirely.I’ll start worrying again on the 1st of 2024. For now…I’m on vacation.
How was the Love Shack the last few days? Any creatures still stirring?

My famis all over the country- haven’t had a family Xmas in years - was lucky enuff to have both my adult children in Florida a couple years ago , this year wife was in Florida I was in Michigan crazy world we live in

your holiday sounded nice, the quiet and relaxing part sounded the best!!!!! i was on the quite the smoking bender too, napped right through most it!!! haha
ours was quiet as well.. my girlfriends folks passed quite a few years back and the only ones left in my family are my mom and i so just the three of us chillin!! watched the raiders beat the dog snot out of the chiefs, that was probably the best part of my xmas!!! hehe
and with the downtime i got in some much needed gardening!!!
i hope your new year starts out just as good and your relaxation train keeps on rollin!!!!!!!

the only honda motor i own is a pressure washer. every few years i change the oil and adjust the valves, i'm pretty sure that 20 year old motor will still outlast me!!!!!

i'm very happy i upcanned those plants yesterday... in one day i can already see an improvement in them all!! i realized i didn't do a good job packing the soil in the airpots tight enough, between that and all the dunking it eroded the soil out and was also holding back the plants. the roots didn't look bad though, they seemed bright white and not frail...
but they have full room to roam now!!!!! i sprinkled them all with just under a quart each today. i noticed about 3/4" of growth from yesterday, and it was all good green stem growth, not red. onwards and upwards!!!
i pretty much cleaned out my soil supply and only have seed starter left so i ordered a couple more bags of stonington from GGMi they weren't on sale but were still only $5 more per bag then what i paid for them on sale and still more than $25 bag cheaper than what i can even buy from anywhere around here that i'm willing to drive to so no complaints from me!!!!! they'll be here tomorrow already.. along with a 12lb bag of neptunes crab n lobster shell, i got that from prime though, it was cheaper there. i noticed the crab and lobster has a higher NPK than the og plain crab shell. i didn't notice that the first time i bought the crab n lobster mix! only $32 for the bag and not in the bucket.. i already have a bucket and it's not like you can use it for much else with it being stained with the smell of crab!!! hehehe

Cybertruck is ugly and polarizing enough for me to want one but not anytime soon. Gladiator has been a great rig, also ugly and polarizing, but been a total beast when SHTF weather-wise and off road. I'm trying hard not to trade up as they are blowing out '23s right now lol.

That looks better than a cybertruck and has more purpose.
I can't unsee my first cybertruck. Pics are one thing but in person holy shit what an ugly monster of a vehicle. Can't even call it a truck. IDK what it is but it aint a truck. Just a big ass wedge of stainless steel that takes up two lanes and two parking spots.
And I can tell...The tool bags driving them like tofu in their chili. They don't even have to say it and I know.
