It does fit in the room which is how I used it.
It allowed for 2 lighting schedules which is what I am after now.

that's the only reason i kept my two cabinets instead of taking down the middle wall. i planned to veg before the flowering girls were finished. and then tighten that timing up till close to a perpetual but in rounds not plants... life's dreams!! hahahaha

If i could figure out how to get it so i was flowering the 3x3 and 4x4 at the same time, id use the 2x2 more but i have a 3x3 that i never flower in anymore so i just use it for veg. Need to get back to flowering in it though, i need to grow more bud! Run out to fast

i got a little work done in the veg cabinet tonight... i took bandit's advice and put in a table. i should have done this years ago... no more bending over, lots more room, a table to set tools on, provides a little shade for cuttings, still lets air circulation from top to bottom... can't think of a single negative!!





a little basil, dill, parsley, and cilantro... heats not turned on and the light is at 10%... can't be costing me that much to keep this growing... i'll let it roll!!!



the grass is a little greener on the other side though.....

I have never felt I vegged too long but have to fit in confined veg space until the flowers are done.
At 14 hours going to 13 in 3 days could we really have more than 10 weeks of flower?
We should be done by 4/1 easy huh?

they are happy for sure... last week i gave them their first dose of some sugar... they responded well!!! added to that was some great white, green aminos, and some killer crab. other than that it's been straight water!!

i'm gonna ditch one of nine plants, the tangie hasn't grown much at all in the past couple weeks and she's gonna get swallowed up so i'm going to take that one plant out and leave the middle spot open. let the rest of the plants share that space.

ya know man i've been wanting to bring up the next start for almost two weeks now. my first mono crop vegged for nine weeks, this one is over thirteen right now.. by those numbers i should have started a month ago!!! haha

my plan was to wait till i was 12/12 for a couple weeks but i might get started earlier. especially if i try that aggressive mainlineing!!

i'm really hoping to be done 8-9 weeks into 12/12. i see no reason at all why we wouldn't be done by 4/1... and i was thinking of maybe even some earlier. i'll have eight strains from four different breeders so anything can happen but i'm hopping some are ready by the 28th maybe even the 21st of march!!

They all say increased yield similar to scrog and nothing special beside the training.
Most top 3 times for 8 tops.

They say sativa is not best choice nor clones.
They say indicas or strains that grow 1 main bud naturally like a Christmas tree are best.
They say this is the chosen method for those with height limits.

Funny coincidence because I had bought a new cabinet table for my printer a couple weeks ago and it arrived late last week. I got mine more to get my printer off my desk but it has 7 drawers where I can store all the tools and spare parts.
Still gonna keep all my spools in a tote under the desk though.
Do you buy TPU in the small spools? I learned my lesson the hard way on 2KG spools of TPU being too heavy and not turning so now I just buy small spools.

does your printer have a drawer for tools like mine? i constantly forget i even have that drawer... i'm always setting my tools on a shelf next to the printer!! haha



but honestly since i starting using the pei plate the only tool i use is the cutters for filament ends.. i don't miss those cheapo plate one bit!!!

the only reason i have those small spools of TPU is because i wanted the "blue #5" color!!! hahaha i never had an issue with the big spools of TPU at all. i wonder if maybe it has to do with my spool holder. the very first upgrade i made to my printer when i bought it was a ball bearing spool holder. i ordered it with the printer so i never even put the oem one on it. it was the #1 complaint about my printer from a few youtube peeps so i got it right from the get go..



one thing i know about the small spools is i will never buy this brand again... they tangle up so terrible!! i broke a filament guide because of it.. glad i home and heard it break or it would have caused serious damage to the printer!!

it's all my "metal" looking ones... it's all useless pla anyway so i don't really use it. but every spool tangles and you have to be near the printer every 15-20 minutes to free up the next meter or so of filament so it doesn't jam up!! so i guess i'm a little guy shy to buy anymore small spools of anything anymore. plus they kinda rip ya off on the prices for the smaller spools. but if ya only needed a little bit of something for a project a get it... it's why i bought the ones i have. i just regret it is all.

i haven't had any issues with the medium sized spools though so maybe that has something to do with it.. or maybe just the brand.. either way i'm not spending any money on sunlu to find out!! hehe

in fact one time i lost a little plastic retainer clip for the filament tube and had to buy a replacement, but was down for three days waiting for it to arrive. once i got the part, i needed a tool to replace it and opened the drawer and in the drawer was a backup replacement clip that i never knew was in there!!!!!!! waited three days and paid $6 for something i already had in that drawer!!!! first time i told anyone that!!! hahaha

i get it though i kind of had the same thought today... if i can fit nine of them all grown wild and crazy then i should be able to fit nine that are all trained and disciplined, right?

so i'm going to go with two of each strain.. dip n stix, straight jacket, oreoz, imperium x, and just one of the bottom three.. not sure which one yet. leaning towards the purple crunch to match one of yours..

moved my plants around tonight... was gonna wait but i figured this would give me time to see if i like them in this order and then i can move before it's too late if i want to. took the tangie out... kills me not to flower that plant, it was the most expensive seed of the whole bunch!!!

she hasn't used a drop of water since i upcanned her over two weeks ago...

i tried a little foop foliar fix and she didn't really respond at all.. for now i put her in the veg cabinet under weak lighting and back to 18/6. she's just never gonna catch up in a week though.. maybe practice some clones with her if she kicks it in gear.

it really does, i was leaning towards purple crunch just to compare growth to Steamroller. but now that i think about it, i don't wanna be that embarrassed!!

yeah i started the Max AC, sticky icky, and critterz in straight stonington blend with nothing added. and also the two gifted clones went into plain stonington. when i upcanned four weeks ago now i added crab & lobster shell to the stonington blend. all three seedlings liked it and showed not issues of it being to "hot" i'm not concerned at all doing it again.

but because i still have a bag and half of COM seed starter, this round i am going to cut the stonington and seed starter 50/50 for the seedlings. i am also changing containers this round.. i have been struggling with my airpots a little and i have been thriving in the nursery pots so i decided this round has enough going on that i don't need the struggle from airpots so i bought 1gal nursery pots to start out in. same as you, yeah?

that's a good idea, i might think about first starting in my smallest airpots and then upcan to the 1 gal once they need water. i struggle with the watering of the airpots ATM so maybe if pre moisten the soil first then upcan a week later or so when they need water.. i'll take a look at the size of the 1gal compared to the 1L airpots if the upcan looks promising in size then i'll go that route. either way i go i'll still mix the stonington/starter though. the stonington has the great nute blend and seed starter has the great water retention.. hoping for the best of both worlds by mixing!!

i've been doing a better job this time with the watering. not getting runoff and allowing them to suck it up before adding more. it's been tough keeping the same dryness to try and give them some tea so i've been using a sprayer and foliar watering the dryer plants to keep from wilting and get them even... yesterday all eight lined up perfect so i gave them a dose of sweet tea!!!!



and a jar of sweetness for me!!!!!!



wake n bake to the extreme!!!!

ahhh that jar!!! wait till ya hear this one... i got a text yesterday early afternoon from a friend, i don't get to see him much any more but we used to R/C crawl a lot.. well he's been working up in maine at some huge grow facility that his aunt owns and runs. he stays up there for months at a time and only comes back home for a few weeks and then back up there in maine. well this place does in house extracts and he stopped in on his way home from there and left me that jar...
