I grew his Chernobyl back in 2016 and stupidly gave the rest of the farmer pack away which was around 100 seeds to this old hippie lady looking to grow her own. I wanted to hook her up with something good but it was dumb to give it all away.
That Chernobyl was probably top 3 most potent hybrids I'd ever grown

was that the same chernobyl clones you sent me? or were those from somebody else? i remember keeping that cut for quite a while.

I doubt they came from me because I don't remember but they may have come from Blackdog at Jorge's forum back then.
He's the one who passed me that farmer pack and I had been wanting to grow it for a long time since I believe it was MountainHigh at Bubbleponics where I first saw it grow and that shit he had was some of the most resinous weed I'd ever seen.
It was one of those rare strains where a fat yield and potency were there together rather than one or the other it is with so many strains.

Dude if you like roadkill skunk you should smell the dumpster behind an Indian food joint next to the liquor store I shop. It's like the perfect potpourri of rotten Indian food, dirty diaper, rat piss, and dead animal back there. Every now and then I'll hit on a strain that smells similar and it's fucking heavenly. The closer it is to making me throw up in my mouth a little the more I like the strain. I have at least one of those types of plants in my grow now but it's hard to tell which one because there's a lot going on in there and it's mostly dead skunk but there's undertones of sweet rancid coming from somewhere in there.

The pool is gonna be fun this week! Nearly everybody has a different driver so it really has a checkers or wreckers feel to it this week. I think the field gets shuffled up a bit and I'm nervous about picking the 45 but if it pays off then that's a baddass pick! I'm just sandwiched by Logano and Elliot and those are two hungry drivers so we'll see!

COTA next week!!! It's not sold out but damn close! It's catching on here as one of the best events to experience from what I can tell. I think this crowd will be double the size from 2022 and there's buzz all over town about it even during this SXSW festival which is kinda crazy!
I might get a chance to meet Chase Briscoe too! Him and Suarez! But yeah those guys along with several other drivers will be in the fan zone Sunday morning for a QnA and autograph session. Maybe I'll get him to sign my war chain!
Also gonna be some sort of acrobats show and a lumberjack skills show before the race. Pre race concert is some country music guy I've never heard of.
And ol creepy Kyle will be there for some sort of coffee with Kyle thing along with Michael Waltrip

SLG had his tested and it came back over 30% I think.
Smelled like week old body odor on an 80 year old athlete when trimming to me~!

my kitchen faucet still fuckin leaks!!! i fixed the threaded leak with new parts and new gaskets. turned the water on and then it starts leaking from up under the faucet assembly where i can't even get to. got a replacement coming tomorrow. total clusterfuck!!! and in such a PITA of a place, i'm not built to be crawling all the way under sink cabinets!!

still only have cold water, the sink saga continues...

i'm not even going to HMS.com... last time i went there to check on the indy car i ended up preordering larsons 69 camaro and bought a new koozie!!!! hahahaha i almost bought the diecast of last weeks valvoline car but resisted for now!!! fuckers!! they really know how to price something just high enough to get one over on me but not high enough that i won't buy it!! damn good marketing!!

and how the fuck are they letting creepy kyle in a fox race?? i hope your wife kicks him in the jimmies!!!!!! now that would make for great TV!!!

Your kitchen is fucking with my kitchen plumbing PTSD. If there's one space I hate is under the sink. I get down there, lay on my back, it's dark so I have to use a worklight, then with the position I get into is so unnatural I get dizzy and have to stop and let that shit pass. That's all before being able to see the problem let alone work on it.
Wrong time of year for that too with supply water being cold. Be nice if it was midsummer than at least the cold water isn't really all that cold. Well at least down here it's not cold. The cold water supply is luke warm and hot supply is scalding

yeah the sink sucked for sure... put about five hours on that thing!! i finally stopped all the leaks and got everything secured the best i could. but it was right where you're talking.. all the way in back and up top where my arms aren't long enough to reach. so i'm on my side with my other arm outside the cabinet holding myself up in the air and the other hand working on it!!!! not fun!!!

but yeah one tip, start out by making comfortable... patio cushions sometimes work great!! but this time i knew i was in it for the long haul, pack a lunch cuz ya might need it kind of job!!! haha

but yeah bro, make it ez on yourself first...

even had to bust out the 3d printer to make some brackets...



everything is good to go now... just have to spend a little time in there to replace the floor of the cabinet. it was just particle board and got wet and looks terrible so i'm just gonna hide it with a new floor and cover that with a rubber mat.

larsons in car camera was absolutely insane when they were one of the first to green flag pit and he went two laps down and charged back through up to fifth!!! i hope that footage gets posted somewhere!!!! his spotter just calmly coached him through the whole thing and the two of them kicked ass!!!

so wait, you might get to meet lagano and hamlin on the same day!!!! whooooooo that's a hell of a one to write in history books!!!
the rest of the cats though would be fun as hell to hang out with!!!! the year suarez came into cup he almost single handedly entertained everyone that year!! he brought some kind of new energy to the sport at the time and it was contagious. for some reason some peole don't want to admit it but suarez was great for nascar!!! now he's a just goober, but he still has points in my book!!
the freakin 8!!! going backwards again... literally and in the pool!!! so i guess he's only good when he's beating up on the kids in trucks anymore! grrr!!!

That's kinda what I ended up doing with mine too but I used a scrap piece of plywood to lay on kinda like a creeper to get up under the sink.
After I thought no way I'll go thru that again so while I was down there, undid all the brackets that hold the sink in so now if I ever need to work in that tight space I can disconnect plumbing at the wall where it's low and I can see then just pull the whole sink up to get to that spot. I'm too old, too fat, and my eyes are too wonky to ever do that shit again!!

Man Bristol was nuts! 50+ lead changes and wow those tires were shredded! I agree they shouldn't had put that resin down. Turned that track into a cheese grater!
Well I sure as hell picked the wrong damn Toyota in the pool. I think that'll shuffle me back to the middle of the pack. I've got SVG for COTA so hopefully that'll get me back in front of the herd after this weekend. Go #16!!!

gonna upcan the mainliners and get them moved over into the flowering cabinet and i'm gonna beef up the soil a little bit and reuse it from the last round. the only plant that used all the soil up was the critterz, i left that pot to the side and might not reuse that one.

Yeah COTA week! I love me some RC racing and think this is the best RC going plus it's practically in my backyard!
Yeah we're double dipping Saturday and Sunday and it's gonna be a sumbitch all week.
Got spring football started, baseball games Tues, Wed, & Fri-Sun all while trying to get out to the track both days. Trucks race around noon Saturday followed by NXS around 4pm then Cup at 2:30 Sunday.

Larson will be in the #17 Saturday. SVG in the #97 Saturday then #16 Sunday. Gibbs and Nemacheck are also racing NXS this weekend.
But I'm most excited to see the #2 and Jesse Love on Saturday.
We don't see too much of the trucks because we're usually walking around the fan zone, finding something to eat, and visiting the haulers when they're going but usually in our seats for the last 10 laps or so. Saturday is great for walking around because the crowd is pretty light but Sunday gets packed for Cup.

Suarez is a trip Dude. Can't help but like him and some of the goofy shit he says. That man is an ATM for NASCAR. Easily the most popular driver here in Texas and probably California too.
At COTA and TMS there's sections discounted just for his Amigos fans. Usually kinda down the track a bit but people can sit in the Amigo sections for about half the price of regular tix.
Ladies go bonkers for him too and my wife is in that group. Like fucking preteen girls and boy bands kinda bonkers.
At the haulers the lines are about 0-5 people deep for most but not Trackhouse. 30 people deep ez and they're all there to buy Suarez gear. Everybody's a fan of the Taco Man #99 hahaha!

i can't wait to dive into the cherry!! i keep trying to get a good whiff of her while she's drying but man the mix mosh of all the smells coming out of the cabinet is confusing..i really got a nice unique variety this time, no two are similar. i'm gonna mix trim of all eight in the tumbler and squish it!!!!

cota definitely is the best RC... i remember the first race there, i was like wow what an awesome looking track... man right near Bandit and he don't even like racing!! hahahahaha yet!

and here i thought i lived close to a nascar track being only a 1/2 hour drive... and then they go and build a track in your back yard!!!! haha

pocono doesn't have an amigo section thats for sure.. haha poconos doesn't have much actually, mostly romantic get aways and all nature. it's mostly wooded area with small craft shops and a candle factory. it's intendedly kept quaint and it's the complete opposite of austin. except for when nascar is in town.. then it gets loud!!!! haha

i'd say truex is probably the local favorite around here. but i don't think there are nearly as many fans around here as there used to be. i wear 42&5 gear quite often and i've only gotten a few comments since his rookie year. not many people in public wearing any nascar or car stickers. i can't go five minutes with a raiders shirt on without hearing something in grocery store. raider nation is strong!!!

Man just once I wish I could have a full weekend cleared for this race with nothing else to do but go to the track.
This is the time of year Austin is a raucous festival and party town. SXSW just finished up. Rodeo is still going. Reggae Fest is coming along with all kinds of food, art, and smaller music fests. Even one of the biggest kite festivals in the world and the COTA race is smack dab in the middle of it.

Today haulers arrive then tomorrow along with practice and qualifying there's a BBQ competition and camping party complete with live music and free food and beer. Also gonna be a charity auction for NASCAR memorabilia. So yeah they pretty much turn the race into a festival too!
The facility is world class and just a nice place to hang out and walk around. Huge though! Like the size of an international airport, runways included, so you put in some steps walking around.
Several bars, lots of food choices, small lake, observation deck, city view on the horizon. Checks a lot of boxes for sure.
Kevin Harvick was kinda giddy about it the other night on Race Hub. I didn't think he liked anything but he likes COTA and how fun it is to drive it.
COTA will always be special for us though because this is where we found our love for racing and there's nothing like sitting at the top of the mountain at Turn 1 and seeing that herd of cars roaring up towards us.

Weather will be about as perfect as we can ask for. Storms today then clear and sunny to cloudy thru the weekend with temps in the mid to high 70s. 20% chance of scattered showers on Sunday but likely will burn off and not be an issue by the afternoon.

Restart zone has changed this year and moved back to the exit of Turn 20 instead of the middle of the front stretch around the start/finish line so there will be less pile up into Turn 1. But I still hope we see some 9 wide going into that turn hahaha!!
Several turns have been repaved as well. Most of the S's, Turn 11, 12, and 20 so it will be a mix of new and old asphalt which will lead to new lines for the changing grips.
No F1 drivers this year! Haha too scared to mix it up with the Cup boys!! Still have some ringers though from IMSA, Super Car, and Indy peppered in there. I think we're gonna be in for a helluva good time and race Buddy!

i'm gonna make a little vid to show off the wand, i'm very surprised on how much flow it has, i thought it would be a joke but it's not. now it's not nearly the gpm of your wand by any means... but this is just usb rechargeable, so you have to figure it's not gonna be monster flow. but it is super light and ez to control. i haven't tried anything but water, yet... now it will just be how long it lasts. i'll be using everyday abouts so it'll get a workout.

i gotta go lookin for vid of those two qualifiers!!! nothing on nascar or youtube yet.. i have the prerace set for dvr so they might show it there!!! that and i'll be looking for some stoner wearing a briscoe war chain on tv!!!!! hahahaha

hell yeah man!! i'm always pumped for a test of a new strain.. anything could be that GOAT!!!

so i started with the water G... it's good, nothing to get me overly excited about.. it burned well, stayed lit the whole time. even with my babysitter ways... babysitter, camper?? what do you guys call the dude that always sits there with the doobie and lets it go out before passing??? i was way worse in the past. not as bad as a pot snob, now i play more hot potato with a doobie than camp on it!! (being honest!!!)

so it burned well, tasted like flower, no major terps.. being a pot snob most flower tastes like shit to me and if i taste any terp at all most people go bonkers over that one. but tasted clean which is good, this run was new nutes no flush.. didn't really know for sure. but a pot snob is also sensitive to any foul smells or tastes so i was happy not to taste anything but flower!! buzz went straight to my melon.. no body at all, i felt a little in the eyebrows when smoking but now just a few minutes later and nothing at all in the bones!! might be refreshing to have!!

I love Candy Store, I've had it quite a few times and it always seems to have that funky floral taste, I really enjoy it in a doob tho, you can really taste it.

How do you re-use your soil?

Do you knock it out somwhere and clean out all the old roots or something different?

I usually knock out as much dirt from the roots as possible and keep it separate for the next run. I believe that many of the beneficial bacteria and fungus the plant liked last time will be in the used soil. Like @Stoneyluv said, just recharge it with some worm castings, bone and blood meal and a little bat guano and you should be good. I don't recharge my soil but I'm pouring salts into it so I would imagine that a lot of it stays in the soil along with the root material breaking down back into the soil.
