Wildlife sanctuaries are all the rage. Tall grasses and wildflowers are in.

I’ve been leaving one section of lawn alone each year the past two. Only inside the fence. Lots of bees, rabbits, birds, a raptor, all sorts of things seem to like it. Just hope we get more regular rain this year.

So finally a little attention to something I noticed.
It has rained here very often on weekends, like every Saturday or Sunday.
Last couple weeks we get Mon- Fri rain also.
Going to rain tomorrow, Friday and Saturday they say.
So the weather guy says it has been since November 2024 that we have had 100% dry weekend.
I knew it~! I mean I work and enjoy the outdoors.
We have had atleast a trace of precipitation every weekend since November 27 2024~!
Just want to call BS~!
Middle of the state NY and they say some of the higher altitude regions could get snow tonight~!
That is some shit right there. May 21.

Some good news. CFO & T of the City finally got back to me to start looking into this issue I’ve had. It shouldn’t have been necessary to get this far. The director should have done his job. When he had the chance. Instead he chose to protect his workers.
