Question 4 da corner

germination method is normally 12-18 hours in a cup of water then placed in a wet napkin. Have good success with this in the warmer months but thinking back to last winter I wasted alot of seeds. Could have been low viability not sure 100%.

Anyway thinking about popping these contest beans and using the Bud Builders vertical germinator. My house temp is 70f but my bedroom dips to 67-68 maybe even lower at times as it's furthest from furnace.

Which option should I do

A) normal put cups out let them deal with temp
B) put out my seedling heat mat then put a tray or something over it then the cups on the tray? Would keeping the water warmer mid 70s or near 80 be better? It's only 18 hours max

I soak for 24 hours at room temp. When I plant, the cup sits atop of a heated seedling mat until the green shows a second set of leaves, then I turn off the heating mat.
One more thing, I soak in a 50/50 mix of water and 3% peroxide.

In the winter I put my seeds on a paper towel inside a ziploc between 2 plastic plates on top of my light drivers.

Never had any luck with a heat mat. Always end up frying shit

The plants, they were potted and given great care. In hopes that some good smoke soon would be there.
Protected from mites and mold and dog hair.

The children were tucked in their beds with great care. Time for a smoke, to let down our hair.
The ole Man in his jamas and I just a coat, sat down and fired up. Enjoying that smoke!
We had just settled in to get good and stoned, when from the front yard there came a strange tone.

We sprang from our kitchen, hiding the joint , I ran to the front door, then I stopped to point.
I pulled the blinds off, swung open the door, slapped both my knees and laughed with a roar.
When before red squinting eyes what should appear? The Menz from the corner are in the yard here!

Theres Aqua and Mosh and Steamroller too, and Sweetleaf and Smoke, with Moe dressed in blue? Grump Azz is Grumpy but that’s what they do.
Zen, Roots and Goodshit, MDK and Stonemason, I’m filled with laughter, my heart it is racin.
Observer and Tom both dressed in red tweed, wearing t shirts with blinking lights saying “Just Free the Weed.”
PipeCarver and Ninja, Anthem Two Seven Five, El and his elves selling seeds just outside.

More rapid than Eagles my smokin friends came, soon the whole yard ignited with flames, we traded terps, buzzes and strains.
We smoked and we smoked, we traded up candies, we ate the brownies whatever was handy.
The laughter was loud, traveling in peels. Lit up the valley and tickled the hills.

We smoked bananas and diesel’s, all kinds of kush.. grease monkeys, green crack, blue dreams and lush. The smoke funneled up to the heavens and left with a rush.
We mixed up cultures of hydro and soil. We talked about waxes and solids and oils.

Finished our night with good will and laughter, truth it is, is what we’re all after.
A story it was.. one to be told, Merry Christmas to all your friendship is Gold.

Before I got the VG I would do it like @GoodShit97 and place them in a paper towel in a zip lock. I would take the zip lock and stick it in a black plastic bag to keep the light out and place the whole thing on top of my refrigerator to keep them warm. No soaking for me or H2O2. H2O2 will kill the bacteria that is on the seed husk that the plant uses. Had good luck doing it that way before the VG.

Im officially beginning trim jail this morning. Kind of a probation period to see if I can get along with the general trimming population 😂 I’m pretty sure once they are hung and dried, I’ll be entering the big house. 😂🥹😂
 
Mornin mornin all my seeds except the afterglow have sunk. I've always had good luck when they sink. Hoping my trim jail won't be too bad, not much leaf to this strain so that's cool...she coming down Monday or Tuesday depending on when I can get coverage with my son (someone to watch his ass lol)

About to water my veg tent...going to try a silica to thicken them a bit hopefully. Never used it before so I'll just see how they react if poorly won't use it again lol but I think they'll be fine.

Since I bought my lathe I've been trying to clean up my shop to accommodate the lathe. I've stacked a bunch of old tools and things up at the garage door to have them ready to go to the dump.

I've been trying o get my car past the bi yearly safety checks and I had a part that needed to be ordered in September. When it got here it was the wrong fit so they had to reorder, now I'm past the deadline for passing the inspection. They get the part I go to get it fixed, we found another problem, your brake lines are rusted out we have to order parts, I still haven't passed inspection.

Yesterday the parts are in and I get it fixed but not before another caliper and more brake line work was added on. I've tried to keep my driving to a minimum but 1.5 months past the date means that if I'd have been stopped by police for any reason my car would have been impounded I would be ticketed and if I'd been in an accident my insurance wouldn't have covered me.......Dangerous business driving with an expired badge on my window but now I can finely get that shit to the dump and park my car indoors when the weather turns to shit

I’m sorry to hear this. Hopefully it’s something that can be fixed with minimal invasion. Strange area to cause those kinds of probs. Hope they don’t take advantage of her workers comp. They damn sure try with my insurance. Whoever thought insurance would become a liability?
Bright side, at least they haven’t kept you for three days, waiting to take out the stitches!

Cleaning up shop ey? Sounds like you have some plans! Woodworking or even building is a gift that I have always admired, and one of the few things I am completely lost on. Oh, I suspect I could build something, but man what a sight it would be!
You get that table finished?

He thinks its from the massive amount of swelling she has but hes unsure and wants a specialist to look.
Stitches are staying in 6 more days til the appt eith the specialist, he tried to remove one and it started to seperate more than he liked so hes leaving the other 11 in place.
She really did a good job slicing her hand open.

I've read that chocolate chips aren't ideal to melt into bars as the chips often have an ingredient to keep them from melting until a higher temperature. But idk. I just read a lot of threads on it before I started. If you want to have that cacao synergy you need to add raw cacao as it still has the MAOI effects which increase the trip.

I did a lot of research before I started, which is probably what got me all stressed out before I started, but I think it helped me for sure. Going to post the stuff that guided me in my process.

I got that super nice sheen on mine by tempering the chocolate, the bar snaps just like real store bought chocolate. How to temper chocolate:

I specialize in crapentry, no corners are square and my plans don't always work out right. They start in my head okay but when I put things together something is usually missing. I build for function not beauty. it's done unless I get bored and want to make it look finished too.

Yes I'm legal again, scarier than growing pot through prohibition. When everything is going good getting stopped for anything could have meant disaster by cop

I never thought of bars but that's a much better idea. Chips & coco nut oil are solid at room temp but will melt easily with any heat. We kept them in the fridge but I mailed some puddles of chocolate to a friend in BC and he tossed them because it looked like shit. I guess I shouldn't have mailed them in the summer months.

I don't agree with that statement. Difficult to melt? if 2 min in a double boiler is difficult I must be quite talented then to be able to pull of such a feat so quickly
