Bought one of these for $9

It's probably a cheap piece of shit but maybe it'll work with one plant or 2.

Maybe it only last a week, was thinking if I ran it on a programmable timer it could help make it last longer?

Now I just need to figure a container to rig up to support plant and hold the fog/mist

looks similar to the one i just bought... 24v?

the mfg on mine said not to run it more than 24hrs continuous.

this would be a great experiment!

maybe have it rest 1 minute, on 10 minutes or something

i had mine connected to a controller that switched a relay to an outlet. then put a float switch in the box with a small pump for a coffee maker plumbed to a rez.

worked better than i expected.

I knew a guy that did this in Pa. He got a 30k small business grant from the state, used 8k of that to buy a gemmacert machine to test thc and cbd levels, rented a place in a small strip mall and got an LLC and started a CBD company. He had delivery people and everything this guy made enough to buy a new house then out of nowhere he just disappeared and ghosted everybody he did business with.

Perfect, so it could be ok with a timer?

Ideally, one would dial it to when the fog is about fully dissipated, then it needs to come back on.

S/on M/off

absolutely, a nice digital one so you can do seconds like ya say..

play around with the water level too.. mine said a certain amount i think it was 55mm or something please don't quote me on that but i found raising it a few millimeters higher made for more mist, and therefore needed to run less and be more efficient.

i also used a PCM controlled fan so i could slow it down for a more concentrated mist but maybe you won't need that at all depending on your design.

OK sweet, yea I was wondering if that would be a problem saw similar review comment....or if its too submerged it won't work?
Cause then I couldn't leave as much water in it as Res.

I'd have to figure how to auto fill it, maybe a slow drip upside-down bottle hanging above it lol

Yea dont have too much of an idea for the design yet or what ill be using
But I'll probably figure it out in a few days, it arrives tomorrow then I can play with it.

I got a decent digital one up to like 20 programmable settings or so

@moe.red hey with the weather getting cooler I'm needing to get some new long sleeve stuff, hoodie what not....is the bb store still up? Or stocked or how does that work? I think you may have said the place makes them as ordered? Need some new gear lmk

You're looking great friend, Good to see you again!
Thanks lol, all bundled up, I told my wife I'm heading east on the trail, 15 min later I'm back, too cold, more clothes on and out again this time west, still too cold doing 30km/hr with no wind break on my chest brrrrrr and it was windy to add more force to the cold. Summer gloves and sweat pants that seem to be a bit airy, Gotta gear up better

I guess I gotta fix my exploder

Wasn't as bad as I assumed it would be getting the parts off, now it's collecting all the pieces to get it back together

:ROFLMAO:

Deer, it hit me I didn't even see it lol

That moment when your driving through a sketchy neighborhood and it happens so you just keep rolling and cross your fingers it wasn't a crack head

My first thought was deer.
Deer season is just starting here.
Saw a buck and his doe jump a 6-8 foot tall fence today at my work site.
Just missed one last year, car going other way got it right in front of me.
I thought he was going to throw it back at me, but it went the other way.
Doesn't help driving in the dark every morning.

ooooooh peach wine?

yes sir, right from my from yard!! had a big bumper crop last year and even made a batch of brandy with them too.

Nice clarity too! Great job! How does it taste?

it has a very nice smooth taste, i sweetened it like you suggested. tried to make it appealing to the masses... i used sugar in the raw to sweeten it, the molasses in it gave it a really nice flavor and helped give it a golden color!!

i'm definitely gonna do it again. nothing really in season right now as far as fruit though. have you ever used bananas?

i was getting ready to make a run of banana moonshine and it would be easier to make all the mash at once. going to try something new and cook the bananas in my sous vide cooker to convert starches to sugars and help keep the flavors from cooking off.

i've been experimenting with amylase enzymes to convert the starches with less heat. it only needs to get to 152º to break everything down to simple sugars and the electronic controlled immersion cooker might be the best option to keep the temp steady.

I'd buy some

Heated grips and the grip blockers like on dirt bikes. Makes it nice and toasty.

When I was a trick or treaters we were warned to watch out for pins and razors in the candy.

When my kids went trick or treating we worried about tampered packages and poison.

Now we have look-a-like THC packages.

All I want to know is where’s this neighbourhood and what time do they start handing out the “candy”?

Ok any snake experts around here? This little guy was in the trash can today, trash man told me about it. He was inclined to think it was a baby timber rattlesnake which it does look like, my only uncertainty is the head...doesn't look the shape to me but then again I'm not an expert and even less able to tell when it comes to the baby snakes. Here's a picIMG_20241030_080218334.jpg

Also last mow of the year I was weed eating in my back yard and turned around to a snake nearly identical striking at me....whatever these snakes are they don't take no shit for sure. I got a little one that loves outside so it's important to get them off the property if I have them. Thanks 🙏🏻

Corn or rat snake imo.
I see no rattler, also looks non venomous

That's what had me thinking it wasn't I thought even without them being fully developed they'd have a little indication of a rattle that would form over time...corn snake more likely but we can get the timber rattlers....it was aggressive whatever it was lol

Today is a fantastic day to start those seeds as per the moon!
But which ones I'm overwhelmed lol

Thinking about a csi pack and a Redbeard pack....on the Redbeard I got the bubba Mac n cheese, forbidden fruity pebbles, gassy creme cake. I'm leaning toward the ffp or the gassy creme cake just...you said your gf grew the ffp, any idea on how the bud structure is on the plant? The massive colas pipecarver shared of the bubba mac n cheese while very superb makes me nervous over humidity and such (even though i know pc has the bigger fight with humidity...just not sure my one dehu would do it)

@Pipecarver how did that bubba Mac n cheese handle the humidity any signs or mold or rot?

Actually my GF grew the FFP. It was one that Moe tested out at that event and he loved the taste. I can ask her for ya. What I am growing currently is the Fruit by the Foot. The Bubba Mac N Cheese is a super hardy plant. I’ve seen it grown by ppl that keep super high humidity and ppl that do not control or even consider humidity and it all turned out well. It packs a good punch!
Redbeards has added several new strains in the past few weeks. The one I am after has a parent of apples and bananas, which is something I have been looking for. I hope to get them listed within the next few days.
Today, I have to decide what it is that I want to grow. My thoughts are all over the place, but without a doubt I will be repeating the Bubba Fett and one of my favs, Oregon Grapes.
You know you have chose a good breeder to affiliate with when folks actually worry about “massive” colas! 🥰

NO it was great, I want more..lol only had 1 seed and it was the bomb. had I known I'd have cloned it. I took what I had left out to BC and knocked my buddy's out with it. Too much for their west coast constitution I suppose.....and they all got old on me. fkers aged 30+ years on me...lol...I digress, One of my best ever so Ya 2 thumbs up!

Edit: to answer your question It was grown throughout a wet and moldy outdoor season and I had troubles keeping it below 60% in my tent and it flowered fine no mold but I have real good air flow too with 4 osculating fans, intake & exhaust.
