Heat stress. In the dark they will hardly drink. Thats why they droop a bit at night. You can tell how much they are drinking by how rigid they are. Drooping not drinking much. Perky drinking well and leaves pointing up past 90 degrees drinking tons.

Transpiration is driven by light so this makes sense. If they droop during the day in that heat they need water

You guys are getting some major heat down there. See the top sets of leaves pointing upward and folding a bit… she is transpiring very well. Always judge by the top 3-4 nodes.

Just an extra tid bit of info. You may remember when i said over at the other place and maybe here in regards to pruning/defoliation that newer leaves are more photosynthetic than the older bigger leaves.

This proves that as the more they photosynthesize the higher the transpiration rates. Of course some of the drooping is also due to the extra weight but you can see the difference in the older growth large fans and the newer growth large fans from the top and bottom of the plant.

This is why when pruning which rarely needs done outside you want to remove those first.

I think i posted a thread here on basic defoliation.

Exactly, we must "read" the plants, I am indoors but this heat keeps me on my toes with a dropping plant now and then. Great tip, water those drooping gals.

Good stuff. They bound back super fast when underwatered but take forever when overwatered. I did a clone video once that showed this. Because it was small it literally took 30-60 seconds for it to stand up straight. Not sure if you remember that or not.

But this just goes to show that underwatering if far easier to fix than overwatering. Granted yours is due to extreme heat but the results are the same

Threw out the quad leaf voodoo male. Keeping the good looking male for pollen, and hoping the last is a girl. One thing I'm learning is BXs might not always work out like I hoped. The voodoo was very short- the BX might me freakishly short idk.

Started 3 Voodoo Acid Dog x Colombian seeds, because I'm a glutton for punishment lol. Day 10 for the DTC99 cuts= they all look like they are getting roots 100% success. If they were not, they would have already failed.

Ended up with some little white seed shells in mine ...guessing it hermed on itself but not sure why all other plants I had in with it are without seed. I gave a friend one seed of it as well and his did the same thing which prompted me to check and while not as bad as his ... sure enough I had some

Sshz said his buddy's hermed as well ...so keep eye on the dtc99

Pretty common for anything Thai to herm, especially if they go too long. My voodoo Thai was the same...

Yea I was gonna run it again but tossed the clone after the discovery. Good to know still got more seeds so I'll probably grow it again at some point

How many dtc99 did you have? Did they all herm or just some? My voodoo mother didn't herm, but the clone did. But it was at the end and close enough. A lot of times the herm is hidden, for everyone I see there's ten I don't.

I had only grown the 1 seed...just did like 7 different strains at once. The plant was nice the buds actually now remind me of blue dream in a way when I crack the jar...wish the terps came out more in the joint but it's rather mild, atleast the pheno I grew ....just kinda tastes like weed smells like it should taste like fruit tho
