I'm down with it!If you succeed at performing a FIM, is it actually a FYIH (Fuck Yeah, I hit!)?

I'll bet you are fine, just being overly cautious.PH has been good, not exactly stable but not wicked dives either, it's very close to being stable. Don't have my notes over here but the trend has been dropping pH and EC which says she wants more nutrients. Been bumping that up slowly. She did take a couple of gallons of water last night when I tended to everything so that was good, did not notice anything wonky with turning the light up. I'll see if Mrs SweetLeaf can give us an update while I am out of town. She's going to be over here with me tonight so will have to wait till tomorrow.
Got a link to the pump?I'm curious steam, you know a lot about pumps, maybe you can answer a question I had.
So the pump will have between 60 and 40 psi on the intake side and puts out that 65 psi on the out put side. Does it run all the time to do this or is it "on demand" where it shuts off when not needed? How do these things work?
The reason I ask is because with this kind of output, I can shut the system off when not needed to preserve on waste water. Hoping that pump shuts off and doesn't run continually. It's designed for the system I am using so I would figure it's ideal for what I want but just wondering how it all works.
yeah bro you are good that pressure switch cuts power when it is reached.Hydro Logic Stealth-RO Booster Pump (HL29020)

I wish I could fix my valves to make the damn things shut off when the tank is full. I've replaced them 3 times now on all 3 RO units, still never shuts off when the float valve closes. I've currently got a pressure reducer hoping it might help. I just manually turn on and off the feed valve and waste a bunch of water sometimes. sux. These are different brand and different flow rate systems showing this issue.EXPENSIVE~!

Just make sure to get right pipe tube size.
Yea, mine still throws out waste water even when the tank is full and will be more with the pump inline. I plan to just shut that valve off when the tank is full so I'm not wasting so much water and with the new membrane and pump I will be able to keep up with my needs at the same time.I wish I could fix my valves to make the damn things shut off when the tank is full. Not sure about 3/4. I have seen 1/4 and 3/8. I would not know this for certain but IMO the larger 3/4 feed line could be reducing your pressure. Thanks man but I think my wife already ordered it. I'll check and if she didn't I will send her that link. Can I get fittings for 3/4" pex for that pump?
I don't understand how we couldn't get this to work when we replaced the part?I wish I could fix my valves to make the damn things shut off when the tank is full. Interesting. I was planning on hooking it into the water line that feeds that RO which is 3/4 pex that I ran to a faucet like you see outdoors. The RO input line has a fitting that screws onto that and has a smaller line. Seems like I might have been wrong in this install and best to just install it in that line that comes off the faucet which is a much smaller line. Not sure about 3/4. I have seen 1/4 and 3/8. Looks like slg has the same issueNot sure about 3/4. I have seen 1/4 and 3/8. I would not know this for certain but IMO the larger 3/4 feed line could be reducing your pressure.

If that is the case, this is good news because when I built that area, I did not make an access and was going to have to do that first lol. This install seems would be way easier and not have to tear apart walls.
I noticed.Looks like slg has the same issue
Only thing that is slightly different is they are after the water softener. But SLG and Smoke are at the other end of the system with high TDS so does not seem like that's the issue.Regardless of if my thoughts are right or rambling with the pump 1/4 or 3/8 is more than enough for 150GPD.
I noticed.
My RO is off since I don't do fish anymore.
My output was visible so I would have know if it never stopped.
My house pressure is not great also which I would have thought meant nothing but who knows.
It is the sole purpose of this part.
With out it I can see nothing completely stops water from going through the TFC and going to waste when the float is shut.1/4" Auto Shut Off Valve

I remember you got one installed and still no bueno though.
Thanks man, glad we had this discussion. In my mind the pump was going to go on that large line but I'm betting you are right and it's supposed to go on that small line that feeds the RO system. I'm not at home or I would take a pic to show what I'm talking about.Regardless of if my thoughts are right or rambling with the pump 1/4 or 3/8 is more than enough for 150GPD.

Thanks! Yea, that is not at all what I was picturing when I was imagining how the install would go.. Way easier than I thought it would be! You might make a slacker out of me yet bro!One of the other great things about BRS is all the helpful videos~!

Water is so much more important to reefers then most could imagine.
There is ton of RO info in their videos. From changing media to adding extra vessels/prefilters...
Thank you! I really appreciate it broI remember you saying a few grows back everything just clicked for ya and must say, I see the improvement too, excellent job sir
Outstanding! Stacking nice, lots of trichs. Are you liking what you are seeing with a scrog process?Today is day 31 since flip, a little less than 2 weeks to start flowering, so I figured a bit less than 3 full weeks of flowering and starting to really frost up! Still a light drinker this strain is, feeding at 525 ppm, everything is super stable in the res, going one more week, then a res change for later bloom ratios.
The light in this tent has been shorting out and a fire hazard, borrowed one from Toad till I get something figured out which I hope is soon! This light doesn’t have an intensity dial so the photos are a bit washed but you get the picture
RO system is updated with a new membrane and booster pump, got plenty of water now at 30 ppm life is good.

Loving the scrog action for sure, still got to work on my technique with it, had a couple of bare spots in the canopy but overall I’m super pumped about it!Outstanding! Stacking nice, lots of trichs. Are you liking what you are seeing with a scrog process?
Also if you are less than 3.5 weeks in, you need to unshade some bud.View attachment 51652
