Project ABS #1.2

Greetings BB growmies/growmettes far and wide. Wanted a place where I could document what likely will be an epic and sad failure, or hopefully the beginning of my best grow. This past grow was my 9th indoor and I fell in love with one of the plants. I grew 2 ABS, 2 GSK, 1 Banana Krumble and 1 Bubba Kush. I think they all turned out pretty well despite low yields but the ABS #1 stood out from start to finish. Leave it to me to wait till harvest to think "G wiz maybe I should consider trying to keep her". Now I'm paying the price trying to MonsterCrop for the 1st time and have no idea what I'm doing.

Bit of backstory on the strain. So before I began growing I was watching a random dude on FB just grow straight fire. Eventually he started breeding and selling beans. Went by the name Patience Genetics and HERE is a grow of his ABS from like 4-5 years back. He has gone completely MIA and nobody in the group he created knows what happened to him. I have only a few more of his ABS beans and like 15 of the GSK but this keeper I caught is all I care about.

So 1/15 I planted the seeds
Flipped to Flower 3/12
Chopped and hung 5/13, flipped lights to 18/6

Don't like my odds because don't exactly have much going on "lower" on the plant. I saved a small flower here and there and some fan leaves, which don't seem happy. Completely overwatered and think I may have choked her out. I have a digital weight scale and am now weight every day to calculate dryback. Pot was 20.6lb today and will check daily. Think maybe 16-17 might be where she needs to be before any water/weak nutes. If I can somehow get her to reveg I think I am going to buy a chiller and run a couple of AutoPots in 1 of my 4x4s. Think I have about a month to plan for it so long as can keep "Abbie" lol I named her, alive. Will be lookin for all the advice I can get about growing in AutoPots.

So stoked I can't contain myself.

Day 19 since reveg and I think we've done it. I see signs of life in 3 areas.

More excited to see this than anything ever done growing.

Call my crazy but I am leaning on running Crop Salt in Coco with AutoPots.

Hope you dirt nasty specimens of great souls and beings are doin well out there. Been a few speed bumps after speed bumps on my end but not going to let anything take me down that easily.

Day 30 of reveg and I think we've done it. Looks like I could snip either of these 2 at the top and run with them. Unfortunately I'm behind the clock on gear and such. I need Autopots, Crop Salt, and a Chiller. I'm on it though.

Anyone recommend a sweet spot for pots as far as gallons when using autopots? I know I have a gang of 3Gs and 5Gs, 7 and even 10 but forget if I have any 1 gallons. Will I be aight with 3 gallons?

I also have 0 experience with auto pots so I can't give ya any feedback in that department. You are using a method almost completely on the opposite end of me so I will just have to watch & cheer you on from my little island lol

Last run yeah was in 5g fabrics and the soil was mostly Stonington from Coast of Maine. Now I'm looking to go APs and use Crop Salt for nutes

Yeah I think I should have moved sooner cause took clones today and those fkrs are leaning over like they aren't going to make it lol It is 82 in the dome humidity is 86. Maybe 2-5 a.m. temps will drop 10 or so but this is AZ and I'm upstairs and oof tit is hot up here. I've read 82 is pushing it but that the leaning is common but ehh I'm going to need a day or 2 to believe these lil ladies got a fighting chance. Used clonex and immediately went to root riots.

I hear ya brotha. Foreign to me but I've been eyeing Crop Salt since before my 1st grow(9 ago). I'd legit be able to start today but need the nutes($75) and 2 aquapots with flexitank(180+ S&H ouch) and a fkin chiller that is likely going to be $350-500. My wife is looking at me and all I've spent on 9 grows like umm are you going to sell any of that

howd the 5gal work for ya? did you think you needed more soil/media?
