topped all the plants except for two, they need a few more days.. i didn't upcan yet and flip yet but i will soon.



i'm worried about the mites, i still have them lingering in the hydro room and the poison isn't working. i'm afraid these plants will get infested so i ordered some predators online and should have them in a couple days. they have a long ride so i hope they make it. i ordered a combo pack of A.cucumeris, N. californicus, P. persimilis. and A. swirskii if they make it alive i will post what i see... might have to dig out the usb microscope to record some war!!!

i'm also very tempted to order predator egg sachets that are slow release and used as a prevention.

sounds like i'll be water washing my next few harvests!!

oh man you got way more will power than i do!!! i had to run out the the store earlier tonight and it took everything i had not to walk down the candy isle!!!!



oh im sure my speed will be enough, i only pay for that much because i download torrents often and some of those 4K movies are huge files. and with torrents the more you share and upload back the more credit you get to download stuff. i've been a member of a private site for many years now and have a lot of credit.. i get free invites too so if you or anyone else would like a membership i will hook ya up!!! and it's a private site so no assholes or advertisements and undetectable by any ISP!!! real outlaw kind of stuff!!!


i've tried most of that stuff out in the past and we enjoy just using the apps within the smart tv itself. my tv in the garage is not a smart tv but i have it connected to a laptop because it's really nice to have that much info in the garage when working on stuff. that tv is the 3D one we used to use in the living room. i also have a tablet with hdmi i sometimes connect to it.



i'm used to this even with directv... one thing that i was kinda lucky with was the last time i bought hbo and cinemax on one of those $3 a month deals after i cancelled it my online streaming still allows me to watch it for free!!!! it's some glitch in their program. it would be awesome if i sill get it after cancelling but i highly doubt it! if directv stream didn't cost so much i'd buy that one hands down. it's like $130 a month after rebates and trial prices though. but they have everything we like and a good guide and controls. i'm not locked into youtube for another week yet so i'm keeping all my options still open!!



oh man this kind of blows me away... you're a quality kind of guy, you like nice stuff and i can't believe you listen to tv speakers?!?! damn man thats like not dry rubbing or marinating a brisket in any way and just smoking it and serving it plain. almost a crime to your ears bro!!!

so none of our tv's have speaker sound.. we have two soundbars, one in the dining room and one in my moms bedroom. our living room, bedroom, and office all have surround sound receivers. the garage tv is connected to a quality "bar band" sound system.

the two soundbars are both samsung (and so are tv's) just 3.1
our receivers are onkyo and yamaha. the yamaha is in the living room and has dolby atmos with mid and overhead speakers. our bedroom is an onkyo and is 5.1 it;s an a/v style so it's the brains of everything sound related. the office also has an onkyo and that one is 7.1 with a mean 10" velodyne subwoofer. thats where my 60" is connected to my PC along with that sound system. it's 7.1 plus has a separate circuit for a B set of speakers that can have it's own input so i can make the PC come out of those or the 7.1. i have an upgraded sound card on pc for this.

even our outdoor drive in projector has speakers and a subwoofer connected!!!

you have got to get surround!!!!! bro i can shake beer bottles in my fridge!!!!

if you want a bar for saved space and convenience then i suggest you get one with satellite surround speakers. they're wireless and just need power. same with the subwoofer it's wireless and a subwoofer can be placed in any space of the room, your ears cannot detect the position of low frequency like they can with mid range.. the bar you want to play around with before you officially mount it, i've found that centered above the tv closer to the ceiling than the floor seems to have the best sound. same with the rears.

receivers are way better quality but much more involved as far as size, weight, wires, and speaker mounting.

i mean depending on how expensive and feature heavy you wanna get...
these are all just suggestions and we can shop a little more detailed to you.. what brand TV do you have? do you have a digital optical output? how much $ is to much?

Yeah I've had some nice sound systems for the lving room. A Bose was probably the best with 4 surround sound and the sub but that was back in early 2000s.
But somewhere along the way I acquired a huge disdain for speaker wire. Probably going back to when I wired up my outoor sound system. 100's of feet and dollars of wire all for it to be junked in less than 5 years.
Then when we got our new fancy TV we did have a soundbar but the TV sound was better than the bar and I liked less clutter but now I want some performance there.
The links all look great and wiresless is perfect! I'll be on the look out during black friday!

Still can’t find that up here.

that yellow tub works just as good, it's just thicker is all and a little messier because theres no brush. but the yellow tub lasts longer when used outside, doesn't get weaker in the rain. if you put it on a plastic or cardboard collar and then wrapped that around the stalk it would work just as good i bet.

i know what ya mean about the wires.. a few years ago we had all our carpets replaced and thats when i ran all the speaker wires and some hdmi cables. i don't wanna even think how much copper is under my rugs!! haha

but those wireless models are so nice for new installs. makes it super easy when you rearrange furniture or change rooms around.

from what i read the predator mites have six stages of life and live from 5 to 25 days. they say to introduce 2-10 mites per square foot... i ordered 2000 for like 60 per square foot to cover both cabinets.

texas game looked great in 4K!! cool part was there were no commercials at all.. every time the game paused for a commercial or half time they showed this view live with no audio...



with the right tshirt on you could really get some free company advertisement if you knew where it was gonna be!!!!

I had the same issue with wires and speakers that fail after a few years. I even bought flat wire to discreetly go under rugs.

I fixed the speakers one year but then we moved things to the basement and I didn’t hook it all up again. I miss the surround sound but not enough to rewire the room again. Maybe one day if I ever see a good deal on wireless speakers, assuming I can get an adapter to make it a wireless unit.

I was going to check it out but noticed neither Homedepot nor Canadian Tire have them in stock. Discontinued.

I would have used it in traps for my sisters. Lol

Used to booby trap my room as both younger sisters would snoop when I was out. Invisible thread or fishing line was great for that. In the end they would team up and just try to find the traps. Setting them off was fun and surprising.

Dude, every time somebody mentions bugs I feel the need to go spray.
I've put so much into growing my own and finally have this room right where I like it and I damn near start to panic thinking it could all be undone by a dang infestation.

Looks like YTV gives you something like ESPN+ alternative channels which don't show commercials.

Like for the Texas vs Georgia game there's the national broadcast then skyview and stadium feed on the + channels and they go blank with a screensaver during commercials.
When it lines up, I like to go to stadium feed with radio on because our radio guy is one of the best in the country.
I wish networks would go back to the days of simulcast because TV people suck so bad and ruin it.
I even like to listen to NASCAR on the radio because like you said that one time they call it like they're all 5 wide going 300mph hahahaha!
This past Sunday I did the whole race on radio because I didn't wanna see Briscoe's A&M car, that's how much I was disgusted with that wrap.

Yeah we shit the bed Saturday night. Georgia just has a d line that can take over a game. That's exactly what they did and absolutely pants us. Dumb fuck student section made the whole fan base look like spoiled brats having that tantrum too. Just an embarrassing night, ez to forget and move on from it. Kids man...And I'm talking 17-22 yr olds....They can be amazing human beings at times but other times, holy fuck they are the absolute most entitled fuckers on this planet. Get them in a football stadium boozed up and I'll show you the worst that generation has to offer. Worst of all, they're rich and they will be the ones leading this world very soon.

But I'll always have this from that weekend!

i'm getting to be the same way about gnats now too!!! i just can't stop them either! i bought some nematodes to try out, should have them tomorrow and i'll introduce them when i upcan.

i got the predators today, they came overnight with a freeze pack in the box. one was still pretty solid and very cold so i felt confident. it came in a little shaker can like a spice does, they like it humid so they suggest lightly spraying the plants with water first.

i dumped some of it out, looks like vermiculite for their packing, looked at it with my magnifier and saw a few red one running around. they were super tiny, about half the size of the two spotters, difficult to see with my magnifying glass but within seconds i saw a few alive so hoping for the best. i sprinkled half the can on in the black room dividing it up in each container. then i put the rest on the two plants in the white room and left the empty can in there under the plant.. fingers crossed!!!!!! so i added more bugs to try to get rid of bugs..

growing up i had an uncle like this!! at a super young age anything that made noise or annoyed a parent!! and if it was a gift that made me make my parents crazy than that was even better!! like one time he gave me a super detailed complicated model of the general lee!!! knowing damn well i couldn't put it together and would force my dad to!!!! thing had tiny spark plug wires and everything.. probably made it a week of playing with!!

Yeah that's the thing about that whole mess....The refs didn't overturn the call because the kids bombed the field with bottles but that's been the perception since that night.
It was actually called offensive PI but was announced as defensive PI. That's when the shit hit the fan.
One official went over to the ref to correct him on it being on the offense. While at the same time, it started to rain bottles and they couldn't announce the correct the call. So after all the melee they just picked up the flag because there's no way we were going to accept that penalty because we intercepted the ball.
Just a weird SEC officiating moment. Like the ref got stage fright or something. I think maybe that crew was overwhelmed by the game and 105K + fans of both teams hating them no matter what got the best of them and now the perception is mob anger got a call overturned.

Gordon's a goofy dude man. He was a fish outta water for sure and seemed astonished at everything we have at our facility and size of stadium.
Yeah he got to put on the Golden Hat. It's not a very comfortable thing to have on your head but he FAFO!
He had a cowboy hat but I think somebody told him we don't do that here but you see it in the beginning doing that awkward horns up.
IDK why, but it seems when out of state tourists come here, they feel the need to wear a cowboy hat to fit in.
It's the opposite around here.
Cowboy hats are how we know when people are tourists! Only real cowboys who work cattle and ride horses wear those hats in Texas. Nobody in the city wears a cowboy hat unless you're a doosh nozzle katamine smoking tool like this guy....

no, not those guys. just me!! i buy my soil from the same places these guys do, same brand, same model, only i get gnats! i've stopped trying to figure it out because it started to make me crazier than i already am!!

ya know yesterday i needed the containers to upcan and realized i never emptied the soil out of them from last round. so i grabbed an empty tote and started dumping it in and breaking it up. most of it was moist yet too, and no freakin gnats, none!!! now i was infested with them at harvest time and these containers were just stacked up on the floor a few meters from my grow. where did they all go?? i never see them in my house or even the basement, outside in the yard yes but not inside. except for my grow cabinets,,, i just don't get it.. those bags of soil sit there for months and months and have nothing flying out or around.

as soon as i put it in containers and under grow lights i have them fuckers in three days!!!

if the nematodes don't work i'm buying the predators next. somethings gotta stick!

They must b somewhere outside your room where they are breeding..any sink drains,garbage cans,flowers.they can breed in standing water.pot plant saucers..when nxt grow is finished set it your room up with nothing with light on and set one of those cheap recording cameras in there .they Don’t like orange ,red lights ive read..

i don't know where they're really coming from i just assumed the new soil. i rebuilt my soil for over ten years and never had any gnats at all, i buy one bag of soil and haven't gotten completely rid of them since! at first Max i thought it was from my exhaust being open and they were coming in so i put a bug cover over it. that seemed to make it worse because none were getting sucked out when the fan kicked on. i then messed around with mosquito bits and other similar products, sticky traps and i still had them but not terrible just always there. once i removed the soil from the hydro room they all went away there, now i just have one place to fight them from. and i don't wanna get my hopes up to much but after a day and half i only caught one!!!



what if that was the one last survivor!!!! but i pulled all the plants out today and slid them all back in and i didn't see any fly out so this really is the best it's been in over a year right now!!! fingers crossed!!!!

I put forth little effort but had 0/ zero effect on my gnats this grow I am finishing.
I have had success with the bits, but slacker and I see them still.
Hoping after harvest that I can treat the 4 clones in the tent still vegging and maybe one if I can reveg.
Some of my plants would have filed charges if they could for drought abuse but it was overall a very odd season in my neck of the woods.
Having a controlled room does not seem to mean you are a completely separate eco system?
Maybe just slightly more refined?

I exterminate and bomb my room for spider mites.

Yeah you'll lose your points after Dec 31 but you'll keep your tier status and pick up from where you left off next season.
So yeah you can cash them in now or let them expire. The closer it gets to Dec 31 the more things start to sell out.
I missed out last year so just let them expire. This is the first year I've gotten to redeem them for anything.
If you don't have enough now for anything good that autographed KL flag or diecast will be reachable next season but you can also score tix to Pocono. I've heard that fan reward tix are usually pretty good seats too.

The saucers certainly reduce watering frequency for me with the suck up.
I'll get gnats in the Winter sometimes but rarely in Summer months. I can get by bug free but mites can rear up from time to time.
One stumper I'm having is fucking mushrooms growing in my soils while you guys don't get them. But I think that may have been from an order from Amazon because those were the only four bags that would grow shrooms. Two bags from another order haven't been growing any shrooms.

So I got my Truex RC car today and last week I ordered a Ford body and some medium firmness tires as well as heat sinks for the motors.
I'm also gonna order another Toyota and Chevy body to make alternative paint schemes for both Larson and Briscoe.

I've found a couple companies that do custom wraps for RC cars and these two have the templates to make them for the Losi NASCAR bodies.

Briscoe will more than likely be a Margaritaville car.
But for Larson I'm gonna make his Jinya Ramen Bar sponsor the main sponsor on the car. Paint will probably be black, white, and red. Same font he uses for the #5.
This will be on the hood

honestly a few of them i don't mind, but when they get populated they get mean. i hate when i open the doors and get bit in the scalp every time, i'm done with that! outside, yes i'll deal with that. they live outside it's theirs i'll live with it but not in my home dammit!!!

my absolute last resort will be sand.. if you cover the top couple inches with sand, it's to heavy and they can't crawl through it. makes for a real PITA to water though.. a great candidate for bluemats right there!!!

i bet if you had a huge lung room it would be possible to not deal with outside elements.. huge though, probably one of those geo homes with a suspended geo shaped grow room in the middle!! haha

just curious man, what foggers do you use? i used a hot shot fogger a few weeks ago and it didn't kill all of them. i was reading how important it was for it to have a miticide in it. i never read the label..

ohhh thats awesome i have till the end of the year!! i'll wait till the end of the season and see what i really end up with, honestly though i pretty much will have enough for $25 gift card. and i'm cool with that if thats what it ends up being.

pocono tickets would be so sweet!!! i haven't looked at the prizes at all yet, didn't want to get to jelly!!! just saw i had enough for a gift card and closed it out. i'll see where i'm at after the championship there is a slight chance i'll bump to all star, double check ins today!!!!

the wrap sounds awesome!!! does it wrap to the inside of the body? i'd scratch it up to much if it were wrapped on the outside. i guess it would have to wrap to the outside if you're going to paint it. the paint goes on the inside of the shell normally. i had to paint my crawler body in seven steps, i had four different blacks that i sprayed... a wrap would have made that a lot easier and i bet a lot cheaper. RC paint cans are ridiculous priced!

I think I used a black flag fogger. Might have been a flea fogger?
I also have and used Smite then.
I have not sprayed since my infestation in 22.
Not organic but not spraying my plants unless no other choice.
I bombed when room was empty and it was cool/fall outside so I am sure weather helped.

These are the foggers I use. Pretty much a prescription strength mite, thrip, & white fly killer.

They're spendy but highly effective and can be used with living plants in flower but wash the plants a few days after fogging then a do a follow up fog a week or so later.
I think the life cycle is a new generation of mites every 5 days so the goal is to break that cycle and kill off what remains.
There's a handful of brands making this type of fogger and they all cost $20-$40 per can but are very effective.

Yeah man Cup race reward tix are only 5000 points! Xfinity and Truck are around half that.
The only race I don't see redeemable is Chicago but even Iowa is up there for 7000 points. That's a race that sells out the first day tix are on sale too so that's a huge score there.
Once you get to all star then every check in will be worth 55 point and every trivia worth 11. When you hit champion then it goes up to 63 and 15.
The garage experience at COTA is gonna be hard to get for me. Points for that jumped from 10K to 15K. It's for two people though and value on that is $600/person.
I'm gonna have to do everything next season...the fantasy nascar, never miss a check in or trivia, and basically turn over every stone I can looking for points and I might be able to get that 15K. If I don't hit it I'll probably cash in for free tix at Texas Motor Speedway.

That dip is nuts!!! I've never seen anything like that and it reminds me of something like a chrome dip.
The RC wraps are more like sticker sheets than an actual wrap. They're full panel stickers for roof, hood, trunk, and sides. They stick to the outside and you paint the body inside to complete the paint scheme

hydro dipping has been around for a long time now... i think the first time i saw it was jessie james the motorcycle guy.

they use a special printer to print out the film and then set it on top of a bath of water and dip... they're a lot more popular now. you can buy those films and dip em yourself in a tote.

and theres the diy spray paint way...

i just gotta say those nematodes are keeping the gnats down to a minimum.. don't even see them fly around anymore. the live nematodes i bought only last a month so i'll keep using them each week. i might have found a solution here!!!




so the tallest one of the bunch is the can't get right...

so far the amherst sour diesel and the sun of a peach have been the front runners.
