i shaved their legs one last time... probably shouldn't have left so much growth under the net layer but i didn't think that far ahead when putting them in there so it is what it is...

but we got lots and lots of headroom!!!!! i put another set of hooks in right away for the top net in case i need it. i put them 12" above the first hooks. it's low enough that i can reach all the way to back row to organize or reposition if i need to so that was unexpected. thought i was once and done but i have some control yet.
and i officially flipped!!!!!! so after 10 weeks and 5 days of veg we are now week 1 day 1 of 12/12.. light spectrum was changed to pre flower and increased 10% for a total of almost 90% right now. (90R-90W-45B)

man for $40 range i'd buy two!!!!!! not joking!! i went down there and didn't see any so i asked... the lady looked at me like i was from another planet asking for a brisket on sale!! they had the london broil advertised along with the brisket, she brings one out and i'm not 100% sure what all your lingo means in brisket cuts but i got a pretty damn good idea from your explanations without even seeing any. so we have two kinds.. whole brisket which is your packer. ( we don't get to choose grades) and we have a fully trimmed point OR flat separate for over $12 a pound. PASS!!! so she brings out a "packer" ... $96!!!! i asked about the sale and she went into mindblown mode and never heard of it!!! pretty sure the add says it... so fuck it i didn't buy one!!! no brisket for stoneyluv. so i bought stuff to make pizza and tacos instead.

so today was my tax day... i go to an accountant anymore, i have a few side hustles and it makes my brain hurt and besides my accountant takes trade in moonshine so his services only costs me hobby fun!!!! i'm almost out of shine... but good news is i had enough stashed away and even get to keep almost $800!!!! well..... we got to quickly spend 800 anyway... it's freakin gone already!!!! hahaha we got a couple toys and the rest went into the house fund for repairs.
but i thought i was gonna have to dip into my savings to finish off the payment.. i just set money aside twice a year and pay it all at once. i;ve tried to quarterly thing and didn't like it.. i do better just once and done like a bandaid and get over with!!! but man either way i had shine with me to either celebrate or drown in misery!!!
put aside a little extra money for 4/20 sales though... gonna get some DFG seeds, can't talk about it yet.. i'm gettin some vip treatment and don't wanna spoil it!!! that money is mostly coming from the no brisket funds, fuckers!!! hahaha
gotta go snap some pic of the plants.. i decided i'm adding those two clones in my flowering cabinet tonight..

Our taxes are pretty simple so I just use Intuit and efile online. We usually get around a $1100-$1800 return. Lowest was $1100 in 2017 thanks to Trumps tax the middle class so the wealthy would be taxed less policy of 2017.
Between that and covid furloughs, 2017-2020 were our worst years of income since we'd been working these jobs. Slowly been getting a little more back on the federal return but now we're on the threshold of being in a new tax bracket with our higher salaries so I doubt the return will ever be more than $1500 after this year.We don't have state taxes but do pay insanely high property taxes. We have to save $700/month to pay it and they always send that $8000 bill the week after Thanksgiving so that federal return just pays a different tax.

She reminds me of this dipshit lady at the headshop a couple weeks ago. I walk in and ask, I need an ground glass adapter for a 13mm slide to go in an 18mm downstem. I get a blank stare back and she responds... Huh? I dumb it down for her...I need a glass adapter to fit a small bowl into a large tube on a waterpipe....Huh?...Ok you see the bong on the shelf and it has a small bowl right? The other one has a large bowl. I need the part that would allow that small bowl to fit that one with the larger bowl. "Oh" followed by a long pause....Yeah I've never seen that so I don't think we have it....Are you sure? This is a smoke shop and it's a pretty common thing.....Yeah people ask for it all the time but I don't know so we don't have that. I walk away at that point thinking this woman is a fucking moron and I just lost some brain cells trying to ask her questions.
But anyways, yeah I passed on those $40 prime packers but that doesn't mean I didn't walk away with a brisky!
I pulled a 6lb vac sealed Wagyu corned beef brisket from Snake River Farms they had on clearance from St. Patty's day for only $38. Yep! Gotta little something for sous vide! I packed it away in the deep freeze for some other time though.
I was thinking the mainline should get you arm size colas? The counter cut style of mainline I'd do always got me spear like towers like that. But now with no veg they're about the size of a fist or like two large eggs stacked on top of each other then everything else is golf balls.

but at that place we can get good briskets and most of the ones i've smoked myself have come from there. i mean i get to actually pet the cattle sometimes so why not!!!!! but they have choice and chairman? cut i think it's called. a dude that worked there bought a motorcycle from me long time ago so he used to give me the better chairman cut for the choice price.. but he hasn't worked there in like five years now and that place decided to take advantage with the covid prices and now are just way too expensive for me to afford anymore. funny though i still carry a six year old punch card in my money clip from that place!!!!
so yes, decent briskets are possible in my town but they're 6.99/pound... but for that price they will trim it for free... you gotta pay for the fat but they'll open it and trim it for you on the spot. very nice people and place i mean hell we're neighbors, not by road or anything but by boundary...
but my local GIANT grocery store sucks ass!!!!!! but man even though i live back in the sticks i can get to that grocery store in five minutes from my driveway!!! so i go there for super convenience. i can drive twenty minutes in almost any direction and hit another GIANT and they have everything at they're store... we have giants and shoprites anymore...
but you think grocery stores are bad here... bong shops ae even worse!!!! i haven't been to a local one of those in so long!!! last time i went to one was for a new bowl piece and the lady didn't even know the sizes.. she said we have big and small!!! haha i said big, and she pulls out a 12x12 foam with maybe 20 or thirty on it, not a bad selection at all... but i was taking me more than 45 seconds to choose so the lady got impatient and says to me what does it matter you're gonna break it anyway, that's why you're here right? i said "nope" and walked out!!! i've broke like one bowl piece in my life.. bitch didn't know me at all!!! i have forever more bought my glass exclusively online!!! and that was at the "good" headshop!!!!!!
i mean yeah if i go to the big city like wonderland in philly it's different, that headshop is three stories of glass. but still easier to buy it online than to drive all the way down there and find parking and deal with humans...

That was not a race. It was a fucking coronation ceremony for Hendricks Racing. Boring is an understatement and now I know why so many fans think it's rigged in favor of Hendricks and JGR. Didn't feel rigged to me but it was about a 3 on the exciting scale and predictable.
Finally got a chance to watch live and had the #14 scanner going too. Good debate on whether or not to go with a two tire pit and there was chatter about SMT showing 14 being faster than both 22 and 48 but never could make the move in that traffic.
Thin crowd last week and this week too. For a couple historic tracks that had me wondering WTF. I guess fans in that area are just spoiled IDK.
I did move up to 3rd in the pool and think put some distance between me and 4th place. And I have the #5 at Texas this week so that seems like a good choice but yeah he does seem like the odd man out with that team really wanting the 9 and 24 in victory lane. I want the 5 to win for selfish reasons but will not be sad to see an underdog take the checker at No Limits on Sunday.
Looks like your plants don't stretch at all huh? Like just a slow and steady growth after upcan and flip? They do look happy and healthy though so that's good. Mine always seem to lose their shit and go nuts and it don't matter the soil or lights or nutes. Hydro or organic too, they just stretch it out. Day to day it's like new plants fill the space from the day before.
Yeah we pay a sale tax on everything except for when there's a sales tax holiday and that's pretty much for people with kids to save on back to school shopping. Sales tax is something like 8.5% last I checked.
On the beef yeah grass fed is pretty much another way of saying this beef did not come from a stockyard and was not fed with GMO grains.
Wagyu is more fad than anything IMO. Show me Texas raised Black Angus and I'll show you the best choice in beef there is as far as that goes. But yeah BA can only be had from the butcher and he aint fucking around on that price. Ground beef is $10/lb and a good ribeye is around $60/lb.
Here's the packers costco offers. Next time I'm at HEB I'll get pics of that too. I never thought about asking them to trim it though. Next time I'll ask about that

man i just realized this week was TMS!! are you going?
the 14 looks great in silver!!!! so did you like listening to the radio while watching? did yours sync up at all? my directv is delayed a little so i get the scanner a few seconds before the tv.
i didn't bother to look at the pool sheet this week, i know i'm in basement!!!
i feel like im on that one Ramsey show where people have to cook their way out of the basement!!! i'm also a raiders fan, so i'm used to it! .

i'm getting a little more than an inch of growth a day from each top.. i only have a couple now that haven't reached the net so i'm fairly happy with my height choice, a little bit higher up would have been perfect though...
one thing that has been bugging me since i first put them in though, i moved them around and organized them by height when i put the net on. i should have organized them by harvest time instead and just hope i didn't screw myself.
i figured their roots are growing their last little bit so i gave them some great white/killer crab/green amino combo probably for the last time. from here on out it will be just sugars and bloom nutes. i also bumped the light up to full power. i'm still in pre flower spectrum but as soon as i see more plants with pistils i'll take 10% blue out and roll with the same 99-99-40 in flower that i did the last three rounds.
no complaints at all though.. it takes more water with 15 pots than it does with 9 i noticed that. my power wand has been awesome!! i've pumped about 12 gallons through it so far and i'm still on the first charge. i'm sure the first time will last longer tahn all the later charges will but i'm usually pretty good with rechargeable and conditioning them for a long life so hopefully they're quality batteries (japan) and it lasts. but so far so good!!! the misting feature is nut good for seedlings though, too strong and powerful spray for gentle plants.

yeah you withoout a doubt have better prices on beef than i do. there isn't a single cut of red meat for $4.29 in my local store. and yesterday we had one brisket... and i swear it's the same one that lady brought out to me last friday, i mean what are the chances they had two the exact same price?!?!!
it wasn't even in the correct marked area... and not just that we only had one... bro check out the packed and sell by dates from yours to mine... thats a fuckin crime right there!!! yours even have a big red circle around it to brag!! pitiful on my stores part!!!!
the only other option were these left over from st paddys day... bought these same one for $1.77 a pound that weekend now they want $7/pound for the same exact packs left over... bunch of BS!!
i'll eat more chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say you get growth and I get stretch. I'd love to have growth because it would make things much more manageable but instead I've had to build my room for stretch and change how I grow with the no veg to accommodate.
Stretch for me is a whopping 3-5" daily stretch between one node to the next and it slows or stops at around 6" gaps but the top shoot still keeps climbing like it wants to eat the light.
It even happens to me outdoors so there's no way for me to point at ____ and say that causes stretch.

I'd say you get growth and I get stretch. I'd love to have growth because it would make things much more manageable but instead I've had to build my room for stretch and change how I grow with the no veg to accommodate.
Stretch for me is a whopping 3-5" daily stretch between one node to the next and it slows or stops at around 6" gaps but the top shoot still keeps climbing like it wants to eat the light.

my mom calls them quesadillas but i know they don't normally have lettuce or sour cream. i like guac too but i just never seem to have an avocado on hand. i cooked the beans with onions and garlic with spices and cilantro and mashed em up, don't normally do that often but it makes it taste better i'm just normally lazy... turned out good though!! i even snuck in a tablespoon of cajun season so they had a tin kick to them!! hehe i can't go crazy for the family, they hate the spice!
but i gotta say i've been called a lot of things in my life but i don't think i'll ever be called a gringo!!!

my mom calls them quesadillas but i know they don't normally have lettuce or sour cream. i like guac too but i just never seem to have an avocado on hand. i cooked the beans with onions and garlic with spices and cilantro and mashed em up, don't normally do that often but it makes it taste better i'm just normally lazy... turned out good though!! i even snuck in a tablespoon of cajun season so they had a tin kick to them!! hehe i can't go crazy for the family, they hate the spice!

Yep Julie got my pick wrong, slotted me with Assstain but I emailed her this morning to fix it so I have Larson.
He dominates 1.5 mile tracks and he can dominate Texas, no doubt. Last year, yep he had that race won until he slid up the track into the 23 then spun and wrecked into the wall. Picking the 5 at Texas feels like money in the bank. I also have him at the end in Phoenix.
I kinda wish I was gonna be there. First place in the pool has KB. If there's one thing I know, if I'm at the track, KB is gonna have a bad day. Just something about it but he either wrecks, blows a motor, or straight up gets beat when I'm there.
Last year he had to drive around the track backwards. Before that the 1 wiped him out. Blew a motor the race after that. In Chicago he gave that stack of tires a colonoscopy.
On the flip side, bet on Tyler Reddick or Willie B if I'm at the track. Both have two wins each when I'm in attendance and the 45 has finished outside the top 10 only once when I've been at the track.

Ok, I gave an hour for oral, after that the girls eyes were spinning, i got the drill at 7 too.sort of, but they've been tricked all this time because we keep telling them that seven inches is ten inches so they're scale has been off from the start!!!

@Stoneyluv when you say sugar, do you mean like actual sugar? Would a QWET resin work in this application and if so would you use the 1.6, 1.7 or 1.8 grams sugar for that?

i remember his spin with the 23 now... took the air right off and around it went.. you know he won't do that again,, it was late in the race too, i was thinking of another dnf where he spun out early on. he should be fast this week!! pit stalls will mean a bunch, it won't go long greens with all that speed and grooves!!! (i hope) we're due for some double excitement this week!!!

You got it, it’s a quick wash just with ethanol instead of iso… very thick like tar, people I give it to put it in joints or bowls just wondering if I can make vapes out of it alsosugar, shatter, butter, badder.. all candy!!!!

yeah i bet you could make vape carts with it. it won't look pretty, probably dark from the start. but i'm sure you could get it thin enough.
i'd start thin though just to get the feel for your material. start with like .4 gram per millimeter and then work your way up from there. do it in real small batches to start like that too. you could even cut that all in half and just not fill the cart all the way up to test.
i'm hoping there's gonna be a 4/20 sale on the liquefier..

so the very beginning of day eleven of 12/12 for my plants. they've been poppin pistils like crazy!! so yesterday they got their first bloom nutes and also got more sugars and carbs! and i adjusted some more blue out of the spectrum and will roll with this until the last couple weeks.
the land of cotton tops on day eleven. not yet on the two hydro girls that went in four or five days later.

thanks man, i think the structure of the mainliners makes the net more forgiving than traditional style sog. i'm very happy with it. there's a few growing taller than the others and always were from the beginning. the two longest branches in the corner are actually tucked one square over and those plants are still the biggest even with that lst... those are the dip n stix in the back right corner. they're like the king size dip n stix!! haha
i was thinking maybe cutting out the entire floor down to cement, then just putting rollers on the fake floor i have in there. it's strong enough for me to walk on so it should work just fine. i'd gain a few inches more of headroom at that too!! man it would be so cool, just roll the whole thing out like a pro football field... do all my maintenance, watering, defoling, then just roll it back in under the lights and close the doors!!! that would be so pimp!!!! we'll see how this round goes and if i have any woes and if that kind of work is worth it. i'd have to attach the walls to the floor if i cut out the floor, i think it would get a little wobbly. either glue it or screw it or both...

thanks man, must be beginners luck or something because i have no clue as what i'm doing and just winged it... it looks like i'm gonna have about fifteen inches of plant material at most for my light to penetrate. some branches are half that amount. so photon wise i feel set up for success.
i still haven't decided about the second net yet. if i don't get much more growth i won't use it at all, but if the taller plants in the back get two inches taller i'll probably just use part of the net or something else. but i feel pretty good about not worrying about it or it jamming me up in any way. and i still have a plethora of yoyo stringers mounted on each side. i'll decide after i defol most of the leaves out in a week or so.
