Well, I certainly messed up bigly!

Exactly, I was doing the same with Seagate at the time, Y2K consumed literally 2.5 years of time for many (hundreds) of people across all departments.

The fact that Y2K was a dud was because people in companies all over the world had done the same thing we did.
It wasn't a "sky is falling" thing, we truly averted a lot of problems.
Elevators were a big concern iirc.

I worked midnights for maybe 4 years. No bueno IMO. Used to have close 'friends' call my house at 11:00 a.m and say did I wake you up?
My reply was always no man. The phone ringing did, your just the idiot on the other end~!
Every year when DSL hit spring or fall some would fall.
In the fall like last weekend some people would arrive for their 7a.m. shift at 6.
In the spring it was always easy overtime for the true [ I learned as much as I could ] slackers who would be late and say, " oh I forget to move my clock ahead."
4 years working in the dark and it did not take 2 to see a pattern. šŸ„“
NYS runs lights 24/7 in a building people only work 8 hours in and the news called it out.
Enough is enough.

I woke at 3 a.m. today since I was getting up at 4 for most of the summer.
I can not just flip like that.
Maybe we just move the sun instead? I mean there is only 1 sun and there has to be trillions of clocks.
Who did this math?
My rant is over.
5 p.m. and PITCH BLACK OUTSIDE.

I believe, should we be able to move the sun, doing so at night would be best!
