I haven't been able to keep up with the forum recently, but Yeah. I absolutely did pick up on the diversity in music you've shared. I'm all over the place, too. I go through phases. I use Spotify (Wanted to drop it and switch in solidarity with Neil Young, but my wife and daughters are on the same account and made it clear there'd be hell to pay if I did that." I usually plug in a new-to-me artist and don't touch anything for weeks. Just let it but a rotation of similar music until someone new catches my interest and repeat. Some of what you shared from the trance genre caught may interest as background music for when I'm doing long menial tasks like trimming. For recent sessions I've gone to stuff like The Velvet Underground and some of Steve Smith's fusion collaborations like Vital Tech Tones. I think trance would fit those situations well, for me.
@BlueCollarBob
Do you like some of my Playlist?
I love the "psychedelic" "trance" music..../beats.....
perspective/context: i think most humans don't have such a diverse music Playlist like I do.
Songs from "fuck you" to "fuck me", "hate you, love you"
"Girly" or "manly"
"Soft" or "hard"
Peace & hate...
That emotional energy, associations with real-life experience.Most music I love evokes some kind of emotion or inspires reflection. Either is the story telling of the lyrics or the rhythm and energy of the instrumentals.
its showing up "unavailable" for me.
