We don’t have the cherry tomatoes turning red yet. Only one or two from another I don’t recall the strain.

We get between 4-6 cucumbers a week now. Depends how big we’re going for. Too big and the seeds become an issue.

like Bandit said it could be a useful tool in toolbox for sure. this weekend i want to put together a veg area and start some more plants.

we got maybe 15 or 20 cherrys so far but most of them are still green yet. but man are they great tasting!! way better and bigger than anything in store right now!!

my problem with the cukes is i don't always see them till they're huge, and then some i don't even see till they turn yellow!! hahaha chickens love those!! i split them in half and they hollow em out till there are holes in them!!! so if my chickens eat it i don't always consider it waste, less i have to buy!

i think i might be pregnant... made more last night..



i canned them long term this time... a quart of chips and a quart of spears.. i also made a pint of quick fridge style with the left over chips..



and when i can them i add a little pickle crisp to it because i like them to stay crunchy. and since nascar made yesterday kyle busch day because he drove the 8 and the 18.. 8/18..



and then there was one.... hahahaha next up i wanna try my hand at some dill relish!!!!!

Man, what a grind from 8K to 9K! Feels like I'm stuck on 8500 for weeks now.

Seems like the field is set aside from maybe Preece or Kez taking SVG's spot. SVG seems vulnerable there since Bubba will have Toyota help and the Fords are coming together.
SVG is better than half the filed on ovals already but not too sure about super speedways

ah thanks man... another ten!!! i hear ya bro it feels like a snail pace all of a sudden.. i thought maybe we'd get a 25 steak on fantasy last week but nope.. and only two check ins each week is a drag... time for these teams to get back to work!!!!!

i feel like yesterday was the last regular season race where you had a chance to perform to get points. i really liked the extra horsepower, seems like nascar is finally catching on that race cars need big engines!!!!
but next week is daytona and really a crap shoot and gamble, and those guys on the bubble won't be able to ride anything out safely.. i predict a crazy finish saturday night with at least one overtime!!!!! it will be boring boring boring and then wham!!!! all kinds of excitement!!!! like a shitty movie with a great ending!! hahahaha

so here's my beef with my local grocery store.. they sell multiple foods with grillo pickles in them but they don't sell the pickle brand itself!!!
mine have been pretty dang good though... last week i was accused of being pregnant.. for lunch i had a pint of pickles and a fork!! hahaha
gotta make more soon, down to a jar and a half!!

it's gonna need some more mods i think but i figure no matter what happens i can always still use it the way i was in the past if i ever go back to sip, and that would be my plan b if vegging in hydro doesn't pan out.
i might raise the deck up a couple inches to make it taller

for the first victim... ooops i mean try, i have this trop cherry still kickin it.. about two weeks old now. just lucas racing and hygrozyme. same recipe as i'm using in the other system.



i picked up a cheap ph monitor for ease of mind really... the probe looks like a green vibrator!!! hahaha the ph seemed accurate right out of the box but the ec is off by a bunch. theres a calibration but i haven't messed with it at all.. got it mainly for the ph anyway. i'll put it in the manifold when i set it all up. it has wifi and an app.. apple and droid.. landscape and portrait!!! i saw the one you recently bought, i chose this different one on purpose so we can compare two different cheapos..



it's really fun building!!!! i wish i could just travel around from house to house just building grow rooms!!!

HEB price gouges here so I only buy them at Costco where I get a large plastic jar for $6 while HEB sells a half size for $8 but keeps it next to the Boars Head deli and other expensive stuff. Costco has always treated it like just another cold pickle product and never jacked up the pricing.

As I scrolled the paint schemes I was all same same same nothing special, kinda ugly really, that's okay, then BOOM!

I sent in a request for 150 points and got it!!! Actually got 188 for the tier bonus!
It was over the newsletter. I saw I didn't have the badge so figured I must not have the points either even though I signed up. About an hour later I got an email and 188 so now I'm at 8792.
Did some calculations and the road to 15K is there for me as long as I don't miss anything and make some more merch buys. It looked a few hundred short but I should be able to get that thru trivia and fantasy each week.
I haven't done any of the auctions of raffles. Just straight collecting to get that 15 and a free garage experience then next year I'll save again and wave the green flag for qualifying at COTA 2028. That would be nuts and I wonder if I would get to keep the flag.
But I want that garage experience so damn bad I can taste it. $600 value on that fucker and I've come so close to buying it but didn't because I wanted this challenge to get it.

i'm surprised there is not more special wraps this race... last regular season, night race!!! the 34 is definitely the best looking one!!! the 7 and 1 car look cool too..

i need to look and see if nascar rewards has those keychains that they had last year. i got one and then liked it and there were no more when i went back. i'd like to get four or five more of those!!! was thinking of buying some now. i'm not really saving for anything specific at the moment.

i haven't been to tinkercad in a couple weeks now and just logged in right now... you must not be the only one man, they have an announcement header on the top of the page.. i'd try that account again man.

my manifold was leaking water... two spots even.. i'm not about to start this new sertup off on a leaky base... maybe a younger me would tackle it but this time i threw a few bucks at it and made something way better than the little manifold.

so... plan B... and i ani't talkin bout the pregnancy pill either!!!!



cut down my old peg leg table i made a while back and made this shelf, i can still fit my cloner and a couple plants on the floor in front if i want and use under the new shelf for cloning and germinating.

still working out the deets but so far i really like this plan!! tonight i'm gonna work on the water levels and volumes and get some air bubbling.. . plants will be in it over the weekend!!!

just put on a couple ports for drain/fill/ph sample.. small valves and the quick attach hose fittings i have on every single hose and fitting i own so why not these too!!! anybody that has never seen or used these type of garden hose fittings i highly suggest you buy a set, they'll change your life!!!!!



i plan to drain and fill from that same connection. to fill i'll plug my pump into it...



and to drain i make the shelf just the right height to fit a bucket under..



just doing a leak test now... so far so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no leaky leaky!!!



this tropicana cherry can't wait to get in there!!!!!! i'll prolly even wash off the dirty freak and put her in there too!!!!!!



i see some sprouts popping out of that VG too!!!!! ^^^

everything seems to be working fine after the first day... i may add a tee and another airstone in each tub to even it out a little...

what do you guys think? ... add another or good enough? .. i feel it's enough but i wish it was more even..



using this right now.. it's pretty old, it's been running for about three years nonstop now outside under a bucket at my pond. the airline had dry rotted off anyway and it was doing nothing out there so i repurposed it. we'll see.



each tub holds about eight gallons when the water level is up at the cup bottoms.. i seriously doubt i need to even have it that high even right now. the entire inside of the tub is saturated including all the taproots. the tubs hold about five gallons each with an air gap.

the only one not happy is the fruity freak, and i'm not surprised. she must feel like she's drowning right now.. once she grows her gills she'll be fine!!! i might move her to where the stronger bubbles are right now. i was reserving those spots before for the shorter tap roots but like i said i don't think it matters if they touch water or not..

fun to try though for sure!!!! it's nice to have something growing in that cabinet again!!! tent is now empty and dark. i'm going to use it for my harvest in a couple weeks i think!!
