i totally agree with not having an allegiance to anybody... some would say i'm married to nissan but it's not true i just happen to have a 92 pathfinder (the one that won 4x4 of the year that year) that lasted me over 25 years. so i bought an xterra, the day i bought it somebody hit and run my pathfinder totaling it!!! this xterra is an 03, garage kept and still in great shape!! i got about 140k on her... i have no idea what i'll get next.. probably look at nissans but nothing in mind at all. my first requirement is stick shift so that narrows things down real freakin quick! haha

sticks a great anti theft device though!!!! that and crank windows... get a car with those two and nobody will ever steal it!!!!

i'm like you in the way that i like a practical vehicle and at least one or two fun ones stashed away!!!

as for the shopping i couldn't be more different, no planning at all. when its time it's time and i'll just search till i find three or four i really like and i pick the favorite one! I know if i like it within five minutes, the rest is just going over the mechanical.

i know one thing for sure, i'm not buying another one of those 3.2 nissans with the sixth spark plug from hell!! i've owned that motor for three decades now and enough is enough!!!!!!! please don't mark my words on that one, i might pull that stupid move if i like the rest of it enough!!!

I think it is heavy and holds water longer than most other soils which is why I mix it with others. Good stuff~!

you don't realize just how bright your lights are till you wear a pair of shades!! they make them for hps and led..

the sticky icky and Max A/C were both germinated in stonington from the beginning, after two weeks and they still looked good i transplanted all my plants in stonington and been using it ever since. i'm pretty sure thats why i burned them when i tried that veg nute out at 100% strength...

but i'm just gonna buy only stonington anymore and not mess with starters at all. one bag all the way through just makes it easier. not sure it's better, but easier!!!

i've heard some real horror stories on tune ups!!! guys having to loosen motor mounts and jacking engines up and everything!!! that particular one took me three days... well a half a day went to finding the ratchet that i got pissed off at and threw in the woods!!! i needed the stupid thing to finish the job!! hahaha

even had to take the hood off to get in there... at the end of the day though i fixed it with a BFH so that was rewarding in it's own way!!!

I've had two Nissans. A tough little SOB of a Frontier that towed an oversized bass boat from Northern California to Texas and lived to tell about and a Pathfinder I drove across the country 3x and used it as a daily driver before trading it in.

I like Ford over most American makes and if I ever get a muscle car it will be a Mustang. I was on a buy American made tilt for a long time until I owned a fucking Chrysler. Biggest POS ever. Had so many issues even the mechanics could never figure it. Fucking thing was possessed or infested with gremlins. Not sure which.

I love my truck today. When I bought it, it was between this, a 2018 Tacoma or a 2022 Ford Maverick. The Mav was a pardon my French, a pussy truck. I owned that Ford Fusion plug in hybrid and the Mav was basically that car with a truck body and cheap plastic interior.

Meanwhile the Tacoma was lifted and blacked out and yep had that access cab for a big ass subwoofer box and I built a platform for my dogs to ride in it too. I'd buy this truck 10x over again if I could.

It has a certain level of evil to it with the aftermarket headlights I put in and the body armor all around.
In the city you need a truck like this to make all these fuckers back off. Nobody cuts me off or tailgates me anymore like they did when I had that Fusion. I don't bully with it either. It just does the talking for me with the way it looks.
It's even killed a KIA so I guess it really is a Murder Truck.
Some dipshit in a Kia Sol wanted me to run a red light and I didn't so he ended up rear ending me hard and impaled his radiator on my rear bumper armor. Killed that fucking Kia right there. DOA. Meanwhile I drove off only needing to get out a can of flat black Krylon to fix the scuff.

The Fusion was a great car and I loved not buying gas but I'll never own another electric car again. It's a 100% economy based decision.
The funding for my work largely comes from very rich donors who make their money in oil. So when covid hit and everybody stopped driving for two years, they lost money, their donations dried up, and I was furloughed. Then when college sports resumed it was on limited budgets with no raises or overtime until this past year.
So I did my part and invested in a gas truck so I'd use gas but also I needed and wanted a truck. Then when the EV craze went full bloom I sold that Fusion and made a killing off it.
Now EV's are fucking lame and for pansy ass techbros or little girls IMO. They're not doing shit to save the planet with all the mining needed for lithium batteries and they're charged using electric from fossil fuels so what's the point?
Fuel efficient gasoline trucks or hybrids are where it's at IMO.

And BTW...If you think the Cybertruck is bad....Check out a Rivian. Fugliest and weirdest truck on the road. Damn grill looks like the truck is taking it up the ass dry and has this surprised look with those headlights. And the techbros driving them might even be worse than the techbro fucks in the Cybertrucks!

It was nice when the city and campus was empty but it was weird doing the normal routine of life while the world was hold up in hiding, scared to do anything. I just went on like normal then when everybody finally came out of hiding I was like, come on out! The water's warm! Lets go back to work and make a living again!!

Covid was awesome for my fencing business - I could have sold even more if I could found people to to install them - lots Rivian vehicles in fla. must agree they are ugly as hell !

I was shopping for skinny jeans w my wife this morning and I saw a Rivian truck parked. It's oddly small in person, neither of us were fans of the styling. She also hates the Cybertruck and thinks I'm stupid for even looking at it lol. Doesnt care how fast it is. We do need one more rig soon, she has her eye on the Mazda CX50.
New taco looks 100% badass I might jump ship from Jeep if it's easier to get in and out of then current model. As much as I wanted one I couldnt get past the head ducking.

I can attest as well after 2 years with & without the glasses, the 3rd year I realized my vision was fading, myself!! So yes, wear eye protection, GML or grand master Level sells a superior lens like the one I can't remember this morning,Cheers. SS Method 7,wow google.

i ended up opting out for the other non adjustable option. they're lighter and i printed a hole in them to make them extendo-lst clips with a little wire....

Dude you buy bay leaves like I do pickle juice! Ever use pickle juice as a fried chicken marinade? Yummy! Chicken turns green but once fried it's back to white.
That's a nice SV rig you got going there and I'm diggin' the Zatarains! Another you might like are these guys...

Another little hack is Old Bay seasoning kicked up with a lot of ground cayenne.
I see that PEI powder coat look on those clips hahahaha!! I love that texture on the base of my prints

ah yeah i love pickle juice for chicken, that's how i make my wings!!! i never bought it by the gallon though... i always waited till i ate all the pickles out of the jar!!! hahaha

jambalaya turned out great man!! nice spicy dish for a cold day.. had some flurries today and it's in the twenties already!! it was a little too spicy for my lady and i didn't even use the seasoning i bought!!! both of those were too hot for her, she wouldn't have ate it if i used it so i just used onion and garlic powder with a little bit of red pepper and paprika and a couple others... i added the cajun to my bowl though!! hehe

made a quick cast iron corn bread to go with....





i never added any red pepper to the old bay, but i do keep a jar of the hot on hand..

speaking of pei sheets... santa brought me a double sided one. powder coat on one side and glass smooth on the other.. i've been using the smooth side for petg and the powdered for pla... weird thing is the smooth side still ghosts the design image on the material.. i really like the bed though, best thing i've printed on so far!!

really??? you can't taste it.. the pickle juice really helps break down the fibers in the meat.. makes the chicken extra tender!!!!

I dont even like pickles so i taste it in every single bite, and then even fast food joints went and ruined chicken sandwiches because they inly come with pickles and mayo or pickles and like mayo/relish combo shit.

It's the same with mushrooms, you can try and hide them, cover em up, dice em tiny as shit, ill still find them. I wont pick them out or anything, but i will know they are there and hate every bit of it lmao.

Anything i do not like i have a super sensitive palate for, kinda sucks actually.

But pickles and mushrooms are like the only 2 things i dont like, im not super picky.

i hear ya man, that sucks it's those two!!! i have a super sensitive palate for ginger.. when i was in asia it sucked, they use heavy ginger on a lot in china. it ruins the whole dish and it's all i can taste. i can't even handle it in five spice.

I domt mind ginger in very small amounts but it has to be in the right dish to work for me. You cant just go putting it in anything imo, it needs to work lol.
