Mine are various because I did it based on how they were growing. The Shaman is my tallest, the net was like 22 inches I believe.... probably anything from 18 to 36 inches is ideal, taller if it's easier for you... whatever works! I have one that's like 14 inches and that's too low but I'm kinda committed now lol.How far above ground would you say the net is when you lay it down? I think it would be fun to try growing like this outside next summer.
That is straight 10/10 scrog right there. I'm so in love with that Mimosa and jealous you are growing it outdoors. I think you are really going to like how it turns out. I woke up and sprinted to the tent to smell the "Citrus Champagne" terps she gave off. Was only plant I ever cloned and grew out. Those beans are from BF right?Long busy day today, but I managed to adjust the two tallest ladies when I got home. I was going to do a third, but the mosquitoes were eating me alive. They all got fed yesterday. Sprayed lost coast tonight too... bugs are absolutely kicking my ass this year, to the point I'm considering chemical spray of some kind. The latest asshole I've found is the cucumber beetle... Leaf sucking hole leaving dbags. I know they don't like neem, so that's a possibility I guess, I don't particularly like it either. Here's the torture before and after of Mimosa X Orange Punch. Did a bit more defol too. Looks drastic, but it will look unphased in a couple days. View attachment 10162
And the Shaman, which I probably won't adjust again because it's definitely starting to flower.
That's all for now.
Thanks! Yeah Barney's seeds via Herbie's. I'll love it if the bugs don't take me out first! That is straight 10/10 scrog right there. Wellll, I had aphids before I even got outside, from a houseplant, spotted them and got rid of them with Lost Coast. Then I had thrips while I was hardening. Killed them, it I thought, not positive I got them all... with sulfur. Started preventative spraying with Lost Coast every few days after the sulfur wore off. THEN my oregano got infested with leafhoppers, so I hacked it down and covered everything thoroughly in DE... lower leaves are still filmy/dusty weeks later. Then back to Lost coast. Now these fourlined plant bugs that do major damage to the leaves. Oh and Japanese beetles are ever present, and grasshoppers... I have beetle traps and physically squish them... usually I shoo away grashoppers, they aren't abundant. I added beneficial nematodes in the dirt this spring hoping they'd eat something bad. Nothing is really taking over, but I think something, either residual leafhoppers or the fourlined fucks, are making offspring... So I would like to take them out while they're small and vulnerable... guess I need to add to my arsenal. I do have BT... that might work on the leafhopper babies... maybe I'll do a round of that after I eat. Then maybe a round of insecticidal soap in a day or so. Any other suggestions? I try not to use chemicals.ooO nice, loved that strain. Yeah I'd be growing outdoors if could but eesh those alien beasts you gotta deal with, I can't imagine. What sort of IPM you have in play already? and what alien satan spawn are they exactly?

Can't say that I do.Damnnnn alien fkrs got you on the move no doubt. What about electroculture? Have any copper wire laying around?
It is the vinyl coated wire fence. I did a little walk through that I plan on adding more to at some point, here it is...Just woooow. What is the scrog netting made of and where did you buy? It looks perfectly rigid like maybe it is wire? I'm in the market and looking for something just like that. What a great lookin scrog garden you have.

This was my second year with photos. 3 years in a row i did autos without an issue. Photos just are not for me outside. Ill be going back to growing 10-15 autos outside if anything at allSoaker hose...nice.
I'm curious how many outdoor grows did it take you to get where you are today? You seem to have a firm grasp on how to keep your girls happy regardless of the army of bugs that want to assault them.
As you saw in @GoodShit97 outdoor attempt, it's not as easy as it looks. Us indoor guys forget how we don't have to deal with mother nature like you outdoor growers do. Our luxury is environmental control while yours is you get free photons!!!
Well, I grew my first plant at around 17 (I'm 38) and did an outdoor crop of some sort every year for the next 8 years. I had an old-school strain of swamp monster, called duckfoot by some, big ass skunk smelling, must travel in a Mason jar, knock you out if you're not a stoner weed. I learned a lot from the old timer that provided the strain... it's kind of local legend, the strain that is, haven't seen it in years, it used to fetch 5k a pound if you had the balls to drive it to the city, not mine, I never did that, but he did... which is nuts for outdoor in the early 2000s when hydro coming from Canada through the rez was the rage around here snd downstate for the runners... anyway, he taught me how to clone and all that. I kept a mom of the swamp and usually also did some seeds. My plants back then were not as babied as my garden ladies, most of them were in the woods and required a trek in. The one year I put them in my yard they got jacked... somebody dug the fuckers up roots and all to try and finish... a pox upon whoever it was! So without getting into the gory details, I ended a bad relationship and moved. Didn't grow that year because my life was chaos. Met my husband during that year, he was not a stoner then, and my swamp kicked his ass lol... he was a corrections officer, so once we moved in together, I couldn't really grow... a plant here or there on my dad's property, but even stopped that once I started working at the bank because I quit smoking... so I took a several year hiatus. Had a baby, was a stay at home mom, and started smoking again. When my son was almost one, my husband got hurt at work, then was unable to to that job, and also became a stoner shortly after I did for the pain of his injuries, got a med card. So I figured it was time to dust off my old hobby, that was about 5 years ago, when I started growing again. First scrog was last year, as the year before my husband about had a coronary due to the trees I had grown in our backyard. Oops. The year before I had done containers... guess I sorta forgot what they would do in ground with full sun and a stay at home mom to tend to them lol. It was too much that way, I needed a ladder, I couldn'tdo adequate maintenance or pest management. Two people trimmed 10 pounds. Too much...so I MacGyvered up my outdoor scrog last year and the rest is history. I'm no expert by any means... I do have a green thumb, as most on my mom's side do, or did, they're mostly dead... but I was gardening with my mom from a very young age. She was very anti chemical organic and all that....so that's where I get it...ancestral knowledge I guess you could say. My dad has been a lifelong stoner, he's good at smoking it, but he's no gardener... might be the only thing he's ever admitted I'm better at than him...still need to beat that fucker at chess. Probably won't happen as I haven't played in many years. I'm rambling now... but that's the cliff's notes.Soaker hose...nice.

ENcourage you to get double pane windows, so much quieter and will save $$ that you spent over time.I got about 12 windows I need to redo. Never installed anything more than a car window, but have done most other things construction wise. Gutted and rebuilt my entire house after our rivers decided to play dirty. Think I'm gonna take a shot and just try doing 1 first. If I mess it up I'll hire someone, if it's good to go, I'm saving some dough
I feel your story on many levels, mine is very similar except I just started back up this year and never really ran clones just got lucky back in the day with some bag seed....not so much this time around even though I had collected many seeds (too many male and hermies for my liking real tough going thru all them). Love it though, glad you never lost your fire!Well, I grew my first plant at around 17 (I'm 38) and did an outdoor crop of some sort every year for the next 8 years. Most Cinderella XX plants seem to be small. I had one big one, so I carefully cloned it. Then I found out it was the least potent of the three I had! So from my vast experience growing this strain (3 plants), small is good.Snapped some pics of the gals now that they're upright. Soaking the soil a bit to prepare for our camping trip. I'll water more with the regular hose after the drip runs for a while. I think I'll start a vat of compost tea Sunday and feed Tuesday, as we are leaving for camp on Wednesday morning... and maybe do a bit more defol below the scrog, that way I can be like "holy shit look how much they grew in the last 5 days" when I come home. Can't find spinosad locally, guess I'll look online. I don't see a ton of critters, but I want to keep them at bay. Might do a round of insecticidal soap. Here's the gals, and a shot underneath the scrog as it is before I do one more defol.

I have one, a fake, but I do have one lol... I go all out on Halloween and usually dress as a witch of some kind. I turn my mantle into a creepy witch's potion spot with jars full of various items... eyeballs, worms, blood, hands, spiders. We are Halloween fans in this house. Check the spider victim and headstones I made...
