Grump's Banana Sapphire Grow 🌱

Grump, i ran the gh ripen for the first time this round, didn't use it in the first two crops but i put their recommended dose in last week and again this most recent change out this week. monday i plan to change out to the florakleen which i've also never used and run that for a week and chop the following monday the 14th.. should be dry and good enough to sample on my Bday!!!! i didn't plan it that way, just worked out...

something tells me i won't even notice using the ripen or the kleen..
I looked up ripen when you mentioned it the other day. I'm on the GH line and i never used ripen or florakleen, curious if you notice a difference, keep us updated lol

This has been the first run using the AC Infinity AI controller and it will be the last. It appears to read below 1EC, but it won't display the value on the screen when it dips below that. It just shows LOW. Lame...

Sad thing is.. I inteded to use this controller in my mother tent so I can have my other bluelab back, but that tent rarely goes over 1EC. I'd only ever get to read the EC by opening up the app when I was hoping to read it from outside the tent.

I rarely read UNDER 1EC in the flower tent, so the real reason for it's retirement is moslty my disdain for AI and the wasted port space compared to me minimizing my components (no heater or humidifier).

However... there have been multiple instances where my exhasut fan decided to be controlled by the resevoir temps... make that make sense. On it's own, unbeknownst to me, on several occasions... my exhaust fan has shut off and refused to come on until my water temps reach above 80. That ain't gonna happen with my chiller. Why'd it swap it's controlling inputs? Why'd it keep the same parameters as my air temp/humidity inputs?

It's stupid... that's why. Smart controller my ass.

Luckily you have caught that before it ruined your grow .i can just imagine what the girls would b like with the water at 80f .😳
You reckon that controller is faulty Grumpy.
