What are you listening too?

Alexa thought one of the most Pink Floyd sounding songs that's not a Pink Floyd song would be a good choice while I made coffee.
She was right 🤘

@tobh seems like you might like Ben Duerr’s stuff. I just discovered this little gem, his vocals at the end 😍

listening to some crazy song that rests around an audio sample "i'm sorry, i can't answer the phone right now, i'm at a rave"
lol
crazy

my ear cans, rarely used, maybe 10% of the time instead of the floor speakers

and then overpowered stereo (classic 2-channel) amp for the headphones/floor speakers
it's loud at the setting now, but if you can see it's not even at 25%, the cans can handle 75% power from this amp... it's sick af

well for those that like music, and like it occasionally loud af
I'm not a crazy audio snob, but i did go down a rabbit hole of sorts when looking for good headphones, after returning some beyerdynamics, i went with this fostex setup, purely off of redit threads and real people's feedback. i bought them and then immediately did the pad upgrade, i think velour or something, that was highly recommended by users to bring them to the next tier of quality. truly, i love them. the switch of the earpads made more of a difference than i could ever imagine.
i've used them for for doing some work for family like cleaning physical audio tapes raw wav files before compressing to mp3.

idk why i'm ranting, but i love t hem. they are semi-closed, which is a big topic if you are looking at serious studio headphones, open, closed, or hyrbid. closed offers more bass, while open offers more fidelity for voices, like everything, it's a trade off.

idk if there any latino music lovers out there but this song slaps:
the wife(from mexico) and myself saw peso pluma last year, it was one of the best shows i've ever been to. i only understand 15% spanish, but i think anyone can feel his music, like i do. i was dancing like a mf at the concert, not understanding shit. then some peeps pass me a blunt that can't communicate with me other than holding up that familar stank to me. naturally, i'm an american, and i say yes, and make peace with my concert neighbors while i'm half drunk lol
