Stoney's Luv Shack

yellows out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nah not yet, i've been slacking. i bought a new filter and need to dig a hole first to hook it all up, i took off a few days this week to get it done. the weather should be nice to work in.. been raining ad like 85° days!!! bunch of BS!!!

this week though i hope to have it going!!
My problem is project management. I wanted to build a creek side fire pit, but did a star job, now a garden, next job...next job....it's bullshit

yeah, they made a rule now and you can't do that anymore... i call that guy "ass stain" hahahahaha

Careful what you will for there's gonna be Easter 🐣 everywhere

for like 20 years you didn't see any here.. a few years ago one started living under my shed, now theres like three or four that hang around!!! i really wish the ruffed grouse would come back.. they're our state bird and not even around anymore.

Who's the first lady in the line-up?
She's got that diesel look to her

puttin on show in texas baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the announcers are having fun with this one!!!!!!!!

Geezus that track ate up some rides over the weekend! Reminded me of Rockingham.
I did well missing it in person. Traded a 5 hour round trip drive, a long ass warm caution filled race, and a 22 in victory lane for Billy Idol and Joan Jett w/ free front door parking, great seats, and only spent $5.50 to do it.

Weird top 10 finishers since most of the fastest cars were out by the final lap.
IDK if it will happen or not but I think that track will be different next time. That bump has to go is #1 but I think they may give it the Atlanta make-over and make it a drafting track.
IDK if that's the cure or not. Maybe start with the bump then think about banking after a race 'cuz I kinda like it as-is but no bump would be nice. Right now that bump is like the damn sand people in Phantom Menace taking out podracers with a sniper rifle. Fun when it takes an 11 but sucks when it's the ;bris:mad:

BTW you see the championship race will go to rotation in 2026? I think first will be Miami. Not sure if Texas will make the rotation. Kansas might be so that might get on my travel radar.
Just to satisfy my sadistic nature I think it would be awesome to make COTA a championship race but I'm pretty sure that would cause riots and death threats to the NASCAR front office lol.
I'd also like to see some radical changes like maybe 2-3 races not have stages and go green stop to finish unless there's a safety caution. Just kinda think there needs to be more mixing up of stuff to add in there.

yeah i just don't understand bumps on a race track. the only thing i can blame it on is laziness or very poor management. the equipment that is used and the process there is absolutely no excuse for bad pavement!!! none!!! they use a fuckin laser to measure it! it just all comes down to lazy ass union workers that don't give a shit about their job or themselves! I bet 80% of union workers could never keep a real job! some of these tracks look like PENNDOT paved em!!! we have some shitty roads here and ya can't blame it all on erosion and winters!!! laziness is what it is!!!!

i was hoping they'd move it around. i'd be all for a road race to decide it all!!!!!! could you imagine how desperate drivers would get!!! and let like eight of em at it, not just the final four!!!! hell yeah!!!

i personally know three couples that don't follow nascar anymore and stopped going to races just because of stage racing and the changes that came along with it. nascar lost a lot of fans when changing the championship to new rules... at least on paper anyway. i think they lost fans for three reasons, this was one of them. toyota coming in was another, and Dale getting killed was a big one. many fans just left. all these things kinda compounded all one after the other. and add in the whole cingular, at&t, xfinity bullshit and enough was enough and fans just left!! i really wish you could have gotten to see it at a track when it was winston cup. pit passes are like dinosaurs now.. for like $75 you could get pit passes where you just hang out with the teams and families! pocono was the very first track to start ruining it they came up with the paddock pass and that started the whole deal where you can only approach drivers through a chain link fence. the following year over half the tracks went to this and cancelled pit passes.

Next time I come across some you want some hehe...there around here alot, even quail I saw some of those couple daze ago....

hell yeah, but i want the alive!!!!!!! hahaha i just think they're so cool. the way they drum up, it's like an old engine starting!!!

I still hear and see them just an hour or more from the city. Usually when I fished for rainbows.

I stopped following sports in 1995. Blue Jays won the pennant by default as everyone was on strike and they won the year prior. 🤦

I’ll still watch playoffs and Olympic stuff but that’s about it. I went to a few baseball and hockey games in the early 2000’s but that’s only because I was gifted tickets for a bonus at work. Took my son to a few too.
