You guys are making it really hard for me to resist moving a printer up on my long list of wants. The vertical germinator got the wheels spinning, but the potential with every new thing I see you guys creating just feeds my interest.

i might have been the cause by neglecting to clean the collection filter for so long so i expect a little work from it. the UV filter was less than $50 so not terrible,

3D printers are the tits man!! i was always interested since i first saw one and didn't think i had the skills to use one then bandit took the plunge and said no way not impossible at all. so what the hell why not!! so glad i got one. i mean it's not the best quality printer but i'm not a pro so it works good enough for me.

where i mostly struggle with it is my limited drawing skills. i'm okay at basic stuff but can't really draw anything complex. i don't think my brain works that way.. i'm better at making something through fabrication or machining working with my hands. drawing stuff on a computer doesn't come quite as easy for me. i've gotten decent enough at taking other peoples designs and modifying them for what i need.

for simple stuff though it's a awesome tool to have. so many times now i've said to myself, if i only had a small piece of plastic shaped like this... for times like that it's great to have. i'm descent at making small simple brackets and things..



but i could never draw anything with details like this...

i hear ya man.. i wish i had a little sliver of artistic talent in me. it would be so nice to be able to draw a quick three dimensional sketch without fucking it up five times first. and then it seems even more complicated when when i have to do it with a mouse and not a pencil!!!

also wish i had a tiny bit of musical talent in me. i've tried to learn a few instruments over the years but just ends up sounding like noise!

but yet i can program a CNC machine to take a hunk of metal and make just about anything you want out if it.. how am i able to do that but struggle trying to draw a five sided box for fucks sake!!

that was a whole mess of a race wasn't it?!?!? man everybody good wrecked!!! the 5 team fought aero issues after the second crash, they couldn't keep the middle of the splitter up on the car. crew tried to fix it three times and were afraide if they try again they'd make it worse so the crew chief gave up on it, first time i ever heard Cliff Daniels tell larson we can't make it better.

it was a shit show for them and bet they wish they could try over!

i've been swamped with work the past couple weeks and still a few more fully booked so i haven't done much updates. i know a lot of you guys work some insane amount of hours so i won't even complain about my 50 hour weeks, i'' welcome the income and move on!!


the plants are tiny anyway, all still alive and one "can't get right". rain water test seedlings are doing fine. only had to water the pants once so far, they'll need it again maybe tomorrow or the next night.

still catching up on everybody's threads and have a page left of new updates yet but i should get some time later to post some pics. i made one error so far... a real fuckin dunce move.. last week when i took photos to compare the soil to hydro i set both cabinets at 1% white and accidentally left it there for a day or so. i haven't gone back in the log but the graph shows it!!! plants are okay, some stretched a little though.

i did a light switch today... because i'm much better at soil than i am at hydro right now i decided to put my newer better V2 lights in the dark side..

the one is a sticker virgin on the one side!!!!! the other, well that was Bandits and theres no such thing as sticker virgins in his grow room!! haha



plants are growing okay.. no drama.. A to B right now and thats what i wanted... been milking it out a little and not pushing them in any way. just tonight i turned the lights up a little.. now at 15-30-30 and just starting week four.





testers have been tested... rainwater is fine, test over. onwards and upwards!!!!!! plus i want a couple of these plants for the dagobah side!!

been foliar spraying the smaller plants this week to encourage them to grow bigger.. i think the two plants that will not move on will both be honey fried bananas, i think i'm gonna move them two over to the hydro side.

so i have bugs, good bugs i think... i really think it's from all the predator mites i bought, i think some were dormant and just coming alive now. they're fast as fuck and huge.. i saw them with my naked eye!! i was pruning one and saw the soil moving!!! loaded with them, everywhere.. nothing is damaged at all and i noticed them almost a week ago.. strange!!!!!!
