we need to get back to our project. i'm sorry i got side tracked but i really want to try to solve this. i want to revisit our list of "anti-gel" agents that were popular.

adding just the alpha bisabolol to the TEC worked but at the volume i had to add i could taste it really strong.

i tried adding all the different terps and blends i had laying a round but nothing was a neutral flavor enough and made t taste weird once mixed in the TEC and vaped.

i'd like to look at the list of popular ingredients added that you found before that helps keep it from going gel once cool.

i'll make it worth the wait.. the diamond fairy just dropped this off for me today!!

i've been slowly prepping for the next round. at a snails pace but i'm workin on it!!!! haha

i picked up the new sweetener i would like to try this round.. went with natures purest form of sugar!



i also grabbed a fresh bottle of nematodes!!!



as you guys know i had a serious gnat problem and nothing i tried would even put a dent in them. i am totally sold on the NemaKnights!!! my last grow i had nine plants in the cabinet all of them nine had nemaknights applied. the door remained cracked open a few inches for the entire grow and just a few feet away was a tent with the door cracked open. the tent only had one plant, all the soil for both came from the same bag and the tent plant did not have nemaknights as i ran out at the time. both doors remained open the entire time and they were both there for the same amount of time in the same soil same size container and same lighting.. the sticky trap on the left was for the nine plants in nemaknights, the trap on the right was in a single plant not treated with nematodes...

i'm ready to start the next round i just have to start.. the cabinet is clean. ooooo i forgot i want to blast it with UV a bunch.. i'll carry that downstairs and run that tonight. other than that all i need to do is set up the VG, i'll be using a virgin VG this round.. untested and unproven. i wouldn't put your money against it though!! hahaha

been smoking on this new toy for a couple days... hella awesome!!!!

That molecular material and ratios will make a difference with all the different kinds of ways to make an extract/cart that is high quality - is my first thought. Gotta think on the atomic/molecular level.

What's honey powder? Dry honey?

I was wondering if the kind of perlite I'm using was what was deterring gnats in my mix, kinda working like a DE in the medium but still cuts when wet.

So you've been into it for a bit, how you liking the new rig?
You okay with the air between cap and banger? I'm fine with it but others knock it. Reviews are weird and can be far more critical than me. I'm just happy it works lol.
Your topper is the best IMO with the print.
Wish Ispire was more stable and we could mix and match parts. I doubt anybody will pickup doing aftermarket stuff either. Did order a carb cap and it will come with black silicone and I have some Wand cups coming to use for hash pucks.
I suppose the band is to cover up the residue accumulation lol. That's why I keep my band on now but I also bathe it often, like every 5 cups it gets a bath.

About to be like you on the compost tea. Bringing home a 55 gallon barrel to start brewing nonstop and kinda produce tea on an industrial scale to revitalize every inch of my yards and new garden bed.
Wil tap my inner Ross Chastain and go big on melon farming this year

just to test and try to get the blend right i have been using this whole melt stuff.. its cheap and has a decent starting base to it and has some fake terps added in... this one is honeybuns and has a mellow flavor and won't ruin the cart. but once i get the blend right i plan to use the good stuff!!!! the good stuff is just dryer and uses a little more blend in it but it's a very slight adjustment.

the price yes, the viscosity no... if i add a large amount of the alpha bis+ it kinda works better but still not thin enough, once it cools it remains gel.. it's a loose gel though so i know we're close man... but you can see when it cools it goes back to the translucent look and the one on the right is the store bought stuff you can see it stays transparent and liquid.



so i think i needs the alpha biz+ and maybe one or two others added in, they all have a slight flavor but mixed together i'm hoping they compliment each other.

i tried the fake terps i have and they just overpowered the flavor so much i didn't even care if it worked i couldn't use it. when i added those 100% cannabin terps we were talking about in private it seems to work much better but again the flavor was so overpowering when i would add anything more than 4%.

so all TEC, with 4-5% of biz+ is about all i can add before it starts to affect the flavor. i need to find another popular liquefier to maybe add another 2-3% maybe.. just a guess but i know its right on the edge of not gelling so it won't need much.

for some reason ocimene comes to mind... i can't remember if that was maybe one of the other popular ones?

yeah, nothing else added. k4l had a big sale and they left me double stack add on coupons so i ended up getting it 65% off... also grabbed more of the enzymes because i noticed theirs was better than the liquid stuff i had been buying. i ended up paying less for 4oz of it than i did for 1oz on sale a couple months before so i said why not!!!!!

So you've been into it for a bit, how you liking the new rig?

really digging it man!!! i have one issue with mine and that the beeper only works when it wants to. sometimes it beeps and sometimes it just clicks. i'm pretty sure it's just the beeper itself so i'm not gonna try to send it back over that. i'm sure at some point i'll be taking it apart and i'll just fix it myself.

but i blame that one on the beeper mfg not ispire. i mean if they tested it, it might have worked so i'm letting it slide.

i have no other complaints really at all. it's not a sipper, or a lightweights device. if you want a watered down dispenso grade then go for puffco. if you want a tear it up with huge hits that knock your socks off then go for the ispire.

with it having almost zero air restriction it almost hits like a big bong.

one thing i really like having is that removable cup like that. instead of bending over the device or holding it in my hand like the puffco we can take that cup out and clean it close up and also load it up really easy the same way. it has a little more of a "ritual" to it versus the puffco but i don't mind the extra time to assemble and clean.

and it cleans pretty easy too.. i only cleaned the topper once so far but every day i have been just wiping out the chamber and swabbing the tube and that seems to keep it pretty clean.

i have no problem with this whatsoever.. i think maybe those heavy complaints were coming from the first setup that was three piece i'm not sure. but i noticed most all negative comments were about the air leaks.. i just don't have any leaks. maybe because i hit it enough times that the bottom of the cup gets a little sticky?? but even brand new out da box i had no problems. when i put my finger over the carb cap i can barely make it bubble so it's not leaking air. maybe since i had bad luck on the beeper i had good luck on the glass match up.. i'm a libra ya know scales, ying n yang i'm all about that stuff in my life!! hehe

Your topper is the best IMO with the print.

i agree, i got the replacement glass today and you're right the plain glass just doesn't pop as much!!

i really do like having that silicon on that bowl piece though, i pull that out and swab it when it's still hot so the rubber keeps me from burning my fingers.

i didn't order a back up carb cap yet, been working on a custom jobby for it.. i found that using a piece with a hole half the size adds more turbulence in the heat cup and makes even bigger hits!!!!

been working on using a nectar collector tip and it lets it sit a little lower in that cup and even printed a yellow adapter that the color matches pretty dang good!!! i have extras of those tips so once i perfect it i'll send ya one for yours!!!

man i wanna go all chastain with the melons this year too... i have those seeds you sent me and Zen also has some melon seeds for me too so i was planning on going all in on a melon patch this spring!!!!!

what a fun race on sunday!! it was awesome for the 5 till it wasn't... thats about all i have to say about that... but the rest was a great race!!

Yeah my topper is different and like the spare parts version so I suppose it's V1 and yours is V2. It won't grime up like that and instead it gets the smear on the backside of the glass where the band is at. Might have to do with the type of perc, shower head vs slotted iDK.
I think maybe the lights have glitched by not changing colors a few times on mine but that may be it and I could even be mistaken about that and they just mode into a different pattern.
IDK about the beep coz I'm usually seeing stars by the time it's supposed to go off

Yeah there's a bonus for checking in at the track thru the NASCAR Tracks app. The two apps share info and I think it's 100 or 150 on top of the 63 check in. It uses location to verify so you have to allow it to track you and all that.
Going to races and being at the tracks for check in are worth a lot of points. There's 150 for buying tix then those two checkins so yeah a weekend at the track can be worth close to 800 points if you play it right and buy tix for individual days and not the whole weekend package.

I'm super excited and I know the wife is too. I grind so hard 7 days a week so I can have a weeekend like this one.
It's not just racing Sat & Sun but also Nine Inch Nails Sunday night after the race and it's my wife's b-day too.
The weather, and knowing how so many are still under snow and ice, I'll just say it will be very pleasant and ideal for such a weekend.
We'll be very lucky and feeling blessed cashing in on so many comps and perks and taking advantage of amenities not many get access too. Everything from tickets, up front ez access in and out parking to food and drinks, all free. We'll live large and not spend a dime on it. Just need to get our butts to the seats!

Last year we did really well with the veggie garden but coulda done better. Melons were big to harvest. They're fun to grow too and a must have for Summer. And expensive AF at the store so while all the other veggies are priced well, melons being so expensive and what we eat the most will be what I grow.

i'm not worries about the playoff format changing one bit... the cream always seems to rise to the top no matter how they shake it out. i'm just glad more than one team has a shot as the season ends. as long as they don't go back to that. if your driver happen to race when one of the trophy hogs ran your favorite guy never even had a chance,,i can remember countless seasons that would be locked up for a team with multiple races left in the season yet. and if it wasn't locked up it was down to just two teams fighting or it. imagine some of those Petty races where he'd finish like 20 laps ahead of second place for a race?? bet those weren't real exciting!

thats somthin man so our bdays are close and so are our wives.. Cindy just celebrated her 51st on the 9th!!

i think trent reznor is such an awesome showman!!! he just loves to feed from a crowd and i rank him right up there with the greats like Ozzy, Claypool, and Hetfield.. he just loves to jam live and i've never seen even close to a mediocre show from NIN!!!! really hope you guys get lucky seats and see a great show!!!!! jelly on that one fo show!!!

i'm really deer in headlights when it comes to melons so i'm gonna be watch you and Zen and trying to absorb all i can for the start of them anyway,, i realize i'm completely on my own for keeping the deer off and protecting them in that sense. but starting and young age i have like almost zero experience and only grew watermlon one time in my life!!

nothing fancy, just a little salt n pepper.. not sure what we'll even have it with so i didn't want to over spice it in any one direction.. maybe carb free tacos.. idk.. it's now in a bag and in the water at 163° till tomorrow night. i struggled finding a proper temp and time... i ended up going but a simple no frills post on reddit that said 163 for at least 24 hours. others said less but also like it with a little chew on bone.. i'm not that guy, i want the bones to slide out and the meat to melt!!!! i wanna be able to cut it with a carrot!!!!! hahaha

i know you're turned off even now by the fatty cuts but i plan to render this down so much there will be no fat left!

Been a very long time since I've done a rack of dino ribs! Had a craving for them a few weeks ago but was able to hold out.
IDK about SV man but I always did them like a brisket and I remember bringing them up to around 190-200 then wrap and rest in a cooler for an hour or so.

melons can be a little tricky...either count days for harvest or look for the vine to whither a bit around where it connects. If the connection is brown and looks dying, it's ready.
Fairly ez to grow but take a lot of water. Might be best in your greenhouse really but down here we let them crawl around the ground or trellis them up for personal sized versions. They'll choke off other plants on the ground and we'll end up with a melon patch just like the pumpkins in Charlie Brown. Sprawling too and can take over a yard if they get prolific. A single vine can be about 20' and each plant will have several vines coming off it.
One year our patch got so big it took over the backend of the neighbors yards and they ended up with watermelons all Summer long!
Gourds are another...I've grown gourds so big they climb telephone poles and crawl along with lines with gourds hanging off them.

I'm gonna start my brew today. Also adding all my leftover floranova and anything else on the shelf to kinda clear it and use all that stuff up in the yard

Another funny about the ladies...Celia's name starts with a C too and is only 5 letters long long hahaha. Funny coinkiydinkyies.
Her bday is later next week but I'll be working so we'll blow it out this weekend.
The NIN was all for her and the race just happened to land on the same weekend.
Totally agree about Trent. Modern day Mozart or Beethoven IMO. I think this will be our 4th or 5th time seeing them. Yeah one of the best ever and ya know...I don't regret much or get fomo but I really wish I made the effort to go to Woodstock '94 to see NIN take the stage that night.
To this day when I watch that, I still get chills over that show. I hope the people who were there never forget and understand what a treasure that set was

Been a very long time since I've done a rack of dino ribs! Had a craving for them a few weeks ago but was able to hold out.
IDK about SV man but I always did them like a brisket and I remember bringing them up to around 190-200 then wrap and rest in a cooler for an hour or so.

melons can be a little tricky...either count days for harvest or look for the vine to whither a bit around where it connects. If the connection is brown and looks dying, it's ready.

i was lucky enough to see woodstock!!! well the second half anyway. we were hanging out at Dingo's house doing bong rips, and his aunt that lived in Saugerties NY calls him up and says hey they knocked the gates down and you can get in for free, why don't you gys come up here and you can crash here overnight... eight of us piled in two cars faster than anything and flew up there!!! we got in there saturday afternoon at some point and stayed till sunday night. right before Metallica came on we worked our way to the front of the stage area and what an awesome sight to see like a million people there!!! one of the coolest things i've seen... all raining and muddy and we didn't care!!! hahaha

a lot of mud and lot of naked people.. we took acid as soon as we got there just so we would fit in!! haha

i hope your wife has a great time and hope the weather is great for you guys all weekend!!!!!! thats pretty cool you can kinda celebrate a week early and then still get to surprise her with something nice on the actual day!!!

any good opening bands or anything for that show?

i was hoping to just carve a new dedicated area just for the melons. was hoping to use an area that has grass so i don't have to mow as much then. haha

i was planning on going as big as needed. maybe a 50' x 30' area?? i can go bigger, i got lots of yard and machinery needed to scrape all the grass off. if i start before the ground thaws out it makes it very easy. we broke 50 here today so the snow should be melting soon!!

tender, juicy, bones slid right out.. still a tiny bit greasy so i'll finish it off in the airfryer.. plus i got to keep the stock from the bag!
