One bolt of lightning at 1.21 gigawatts to the telephone line was enough to fry it all and was never replaced as there was no profit in a free BBS.

When we bought the house and moved I dropped my BBS. We had just started making money on it for a few years when the internet started to take off and kill business. Fun while it lasted. Learned a lot.

Man that brings me back.. we had an 8086 ibm compatible back in the day. Used to love playing Terminator 1, first open world game i remember. You could play as reese or arnold. Drive around, Rob stores, etc... way ahead of its time

Yeah that was how i got introduced to warez lol, then IRC was the next big thing for underground chat and file sharing

this was a tragic one too man, she was set to retire in three weeks. spent her entire career as a girls basketball coach at a local college. she was only 65.

sorry to hear about your uncle. military funerals always hit me harder.

Hands down the best one ive ever used.
I got it because it has replacement tips, and its my portable hot knife so if I drop it its no big deal I wont have to buy a new knife.
A 3pk of tips is 15 bucks.
The light is sweet, works good, I used it last night in the car lol

i was looking for a dedicated one that wasn't just a screw in tip like i have now. and something that wasn't round. then i saw the spotlight.. i kept looking at other models and brands just checking things out but i couldn't stop thinking of the light!!! haha

i didn't really think about how the replaceable tip could come in handy but i could see me maybe breaking one someday or even one just stop working... i have high hopes they offer an all black tip in the future!!!! hehe

after i bought it (paid $36 delivered with a coupon) i was looking at all the other colors and thought hey that kinda looks like the color of the one G$ posted.. i went back a few pages and was like sweet it's the exact same model i just bought!! haha

Yeah this one isnt rolling off of anything, and the button is under the cap so if you tossed it in your pocket you don't even have to shut it off cause itll never activate.

I have this carry case that came with the Aeris vape I bought my wife.

Holds everything i need and has a shoulder strap to carry it too!
 
Man what a quincera last night! Big time party

My wife's family is from Oaxaca, Mexico, the native dance is chilena, history below. In the heat of the party one song can go 30 minutes or more with non stop dancing for one song, it's wild. We were padrinos, or sponsors for the lucky 15 year old. Such a good time.

Yeah it's a very very big event, two live bands, choreography dances, and so much more. Quinceanera is like a sweet 16, but at 15. Thousands of dollars into it, like wedding costs. Family helps by being padrinos, like one family pays for the music, another for food, another for drinks, etc... pretty cool way to not put all the expense on one family

I've been to a few as a guest and they were huge. Like a wedding, funeral, prom, and b-day all in one event.
One of my old next door neighbors had three girls all a year apart and were here for their teen years. We also had huge rose bushes back then so all the red roses became a backdrop for their party photos

Man that's awesome you got to experience them! Tried to get my friends to come but... You know how that goes if someone doesn't understand what it is

Yeah we got another family one this September, they are definitely something else.

How do you feel about mezcal?? It's like a smokey tequila to put loosely. We've had some really good ones and some bad ones. The best are the ones that come from family being there and bringing back, so different than anything we can get at the ABC store

When i was younger... Much younger, our goal was to smoke an entire ounce on 4/20, usually between 4-5 of us. Man it took effort!! You have to smoke non stop to get there

Alas, i was young and we thought this was cool. Anyone else with any crazy stories about tomorrow

They were huge parties with great food and the food is always gonna pull me in. It was always TexMex style bbq and so dang delicious. I use mesquite when I bbq because of those parties. Cinco De Mayo the same way and it's coming up! My introduction to a pig roast was Mexican style in a hole in Korea during Cinco.


Don't drink anymore but my thing was silver tequila. 1800 & Hornitos most of the time.
I've only had one good mezcal and it was served to me and don't know which, but every time I bought it, found it chalky. Reposado for shots but since it's hot we made a lot of margaritas with silver. Now it's just no booze cherry slushies 😋
My neighbor makes something with our agave cores after the death bloom but I think it's more of a milky jail house hooch only she's brave enough to drink more than the mezcal she claims it is. Try to tell her they aint blue agave but she don't care lol. She once made a barrel of sangria for a block party and that pretty much ruined sangria for me since

There's some og milk looking stuff that was bring served at one quincera we were at.

My cousin is finishing up his military career in korea right now, 8 more months and he retires from military at a young age

zee's vapor came through and got it to me today!! it's way better than what i was using. i like the style to it and you're right it ain't rolling anywhere!!!!

i wasn't expecting the battery level so that was a nice surprise!! but yeah for sure i'm going to have to pick up a spare tip, just so i can tear it apart and figure out how to mount a black blade on it!!!! tell me it wouldn't look better murdered out?!?!
