Grump's Indigo Sapphire Grow 🌱

Pretty sure that heavy defol didn't set them back a bit. Chugging right along, fattening up the little cottonballs.

Starting to really shape up in there as the 3rd week comes to a close. Bumped up the PK and ppm with a full res change this afternoon. 630ppm @ 6.2 pH as of right now.

Roots lookin' goot

Day 25.
I had the time so I decided to mix a new batch in the top-off resevoir. Same ratio of A&B but with a higher dose of PK and a little less CalMag. After bringing up the pH, it's sitting at exactly 2EC @ 6.3pH. They've got 50 gallons to suck down. I assume that'll last about 2 weeks.

I left the plant-sites alone because I gave them a heroic dose of Orca with the res change last Friday. Down there it's 610ppm @ 6.0pH. We should see a slow rise over the next couple weeks, as they start to want more. I dropped the humidity down to bump up the VPD.
Make 'em sweat 🤤

Like they're stacking bricks. Excellent structure developing! ;rockb

Day 31.
There's a wonderful blueberry cupcake sort of aroma in the air. Maybe a hint of lemon and lavender. It's mouthwatering.

I’ve got four strains fighting for aroma dominance. Some days it makes my nose and eyes water. Everything from a strong woman’s perfume to stinky powdered laundry soap mixed with gas/oil. I can’t even tell which one’s making which aroma.

Just the handle needed to be glued? Nice save. 👊
Handle stripped out. Had to pop handles off 3 or 4 other valves before I found that same style of handle/guts.

Perks of buying more than you need when it comes to parts runs. I have buckets of parts in the garage and still buy new when I start a new project.

I have drawers and cabinets of plumbing and electric supplies.
Never seem to find or care to look for what is needed next.
Then I find I have purchased a similar but not right part and end up adding it to a drawer that already had one of those~!
It's a viscous cycle.;bongt

Yes, I’ve had that happen. Amazon is bad for that. They send it you order the wrong thing. You go to return it and they say how about you keep it for half price or less…

Fuck…how can you say no then? 🤣

So are you doing the install yourself?
I've been told they offer free annual services for a couple years if they install it when they know you could have.

Yeah I've installed dozens in the past. I've never spliced into a propane line though...

It's gonna be planted right where my tent exhaust leaves the basement. I don't need any nosey technicians creeping around back there. The service kits are only like 20 bucks plus oil if you need to change it. Easy peasy.

Been on my wish list for a while now.
Several years ago the power company installed some new mandatory device on the pole right across the street from me.
Really have not lost power more than 2-3 times since and only for hours.
Even when I check the computer for power outages and they list my town it is not me often.
Literally it is on the other side of the pole~!
That and I would need a tank or two which don't come cheap.

Duel fuel is the bomb also because in a total power loss those eat propane faster than most realize.
Besides like many are finding out now they can't even get filled.
Some gas supply companies are limiting the amount they fill now due to shortage...

We didn't lose power our first year in this house and haven't lost it yet this winter, bjt we're known for some freak ice storms and our winds are legendary. I'm not sure the circumstances needed to knock my power out, but I'm on a well so no power means no water.

We haven't had any issues or warnings about getting propane. I have a 500 gallon and we add 250 gallons when it reaches 35%. That tank runs the whole house so it should be pretty easy to tap into that line. 🤞
