smoke

Lost power yesterday for a couple hours, outside temp was 102, flower room was lights out and only reached 86 and the veg room hit 91. temp/humidity in the veg room is controlled mostly with two 6" ac infinity fans and a lung room which isn't temp controlled.
My question is, what led light/lights would work best to cover my 4 sites?

Smoke not sure how quickly you're looking to move on a light but I'm watching @Bandit420's big Spectramax grows for when I eventually upgrade to 4 site in a bigger space. I havent grown under CLW near as much as he and Stoneyluv but it didnt take long to see why they throw money at them lol.

Is that your calcium deficiency?

Is that your calcium deficiency?
Yes

The top up rez is RO water medicated at 3ml/gal of calmag and they lower that water by 10 gal in 24 hrs.

610 ppm now which made up of calmag NPK, how much of each i don't know. They have bean eating 20 ppms each day since flip and drinking 40% more water.

I like but don't have the CLW also.
The spectra 1000 that @Bandit420 is running looks real nice.
Wait to you see how much more calmag you need under LEDs.
The charts do not IMO reflect how much or how soon you may need either under strong LEDs.

You got it going on and see what we do. You got a calmag hog.
I don't go a lot deeper on if it is this or that without a serious concern.
Occam's razor.

Might just be the heat and the power going off that has me thinking led again.

You say needing more calmag (as in intravenous directly into the stalk?

Hey Smoke, sorry just catching up.

What plant is in the post directly above? I'm having zero issues with my watermelon running GH at 450 on the 500 scale. I'm also running silica and cal mag. I did a water change yesterday because my PH started to dive, and it is back to stable with the res swap and the plant is very happy.

My LEDs are not what you would find today. These are really old Optic 8+ in this tent. If you want to spend some real money, you can cover that space well with several lights on the market. If you just want to get it done with minimum cost and frills, I was always impressed with the spider farmer bar lights. If you remember, Aqua did a 4 plant RDWC at the other place with the SE7000 I believe.

I use the spiderfarmer SE & G 3000 series and with plants that size you'd need 4 for full coverage 1 over each....even that wouldn't do much below the top canopy so all the vertical growth wouldn't be necessary. I don't think you can beat Hps for penetration and plants that big need all the penetration they can get.

There are a ton of folks getting out of growing after they realize its too much work. I see great deals on newer lights with all their equipment going at 1/2 price and negotiable from there. Facebook market place, We have kijiji up here, craigs list for you....but if you know what you're looking for keep an eye out second hand,,,,

Leafs above are from AF1, day 8 flower, specially plant #3. On your 500 scale im about 490 tds. These plants have bean in this water now for 5 weeks without a change and are eating as i like to see. Yesterday and today i tried your method and changed the ratios some in the favor of feeding more potassium and they ate it up yesterday. We'll see if they ate it again today, if not they'll get a water change.

My watermelon Gelato and chetta piss are still in the veg room, we will be taking clones from both tomorrow. I was surprised to see the veining as pronounced as it was in your side by side. I cleaned up my lowers to show the difference between mine and yours. Mind you I'm only feeding the chetta piss and watermelon at 350 ppm.20230822_083356.jpg

Took 5 clones from watermelon gelato and 4 from chetta piss, the plan is to flower 2 of each next when the AF1 is finished.

Met a kid in Buckeye Az and bought his homemade rdwc setup and this homemade cloner from him 12 years ago, uses a external pump. 20230822_082726.jpg20230822_082738.jpg

Haven't changed the water in 8 weeks running neither (neitherlive nor sterile). Roots look good

Also did a change of the water in the flower room.

It's Alive......don't let them merge...fk don't even let each of them know there's another one in the same room.......

Too heavy for her to lift
Wowsers. is there such a thing as too big??? ....lol....You're going to need some support on those beauts or they're going to hang to the floor with the weight of the buds what about that 1000w / 600w/ 400w / hps down the centre I think you talked about.....nows the time eh ...fk the costs...those girls need a lot of light😄😄😄

A 1000 wt vertical in the middle of the 4 plants has bean talked about but i won't do ladders that tall anymore.

Edit: she won't let me

Good help is hard to find~!
You got it going on without a doubt.
No stress is for the growers, not the plant.
Stay safe and carry on~! 👊

Are you using one hood for all 4 plants? If so I would stay with HPS.

If you really want to transition to LED my vote would be for the Gavita 1700E Pro.

Honestly, since you have tall ceilings not only would I stay with HPS but I would upgrade it to a Dimlux Xpert MK2 double ended light. I was impressed with the bump in yield I got going from single ended to double ended HPS.

Double ended HPS lights in a 2 car garage.

Yes, im using the one hood in the veg room over 4 plants. The ceiling height in my veg room is 8 ft

Bump in yield isn't my aim
