Stoney's Luv Shack

man it's crazy how much they repeat themselves. i've been having so much fun watching them cultivar to cultivar and how they're different from each other on the graphs..

like these three are all one strain..

View attachment 116426

and all these three are a different one.. kinda similar to each other but different from the other cultivar.

my new favorite lunch has been cut up chicken breast with about a tablespoon of smokin ed.. with the juices from the chicken it makes a marinade the color of longhorn!!!!! i let that cook down till all the liquid is gone and add some salt n pepper..

View attachment 116430View attachment 116431

then i toss in some flour and put a lid on let it bake for a few minutes till it smells like a pizzeria when i open the lid.. then i put in some blue cheese dressing and it totally deglazes the pot and all the bits of pepper stick to the chicken...

View attachment 116432View attachment 116433

i call it smokin ed's fire chicken!!!!! serve with a side of tissues, maybe a sweat towel, and perhaps a tall glass of milk!!!!!! ;fafo

Our furnace is gas forced air from the 80’s. I’ve rebuilt everything except inside the fire box.

Only reason I’ve had to fix and replace things is we seem to get hit by lightning every 5 years. Six huge silos are beside us that inevitably get lighting strikes.

Just ordered one thanks for the info
Told me it doesn’t ship to my location. On Amazon canada it says currently unavailable for that model.

Still there’s others, good for Christmas ideas. If it saves back pain then it’s worth consideration.

I loved camping and fishing. But getting there by off-roading for a few hours…priceless!

We even had a offroad jamboree two years. About twenty of us in 8 Jeeps/trucks. One crazy guy brought a cube van with a generator in the back. It was a work vehicle. We had to use two of our trucks to yank him out of big stucks twice. He made it there and out again but the truck got beat to crap. He got fired after the long weekend. 🤣

Thanks, found it. I’ve saved the link so if you’re review is positive after a few weeks use I’ve got a gift idea for the family. 👊

i've had it since march of last year, maybe only charged it three or four times now. ignore the air stone in the photos and video, it has a filter basket with a weighted marble inside.. i cut the hose length down a little too. but it will suck up organics from a jug no problem, it's never clogged on me.

one careful thing.. it will continue to gravity siphon if the jug is elevated and the wand is lower. i just make sure to pull the intake basket out of the jug each time i'm done using it for the day.

Recieved the watering wand this morning and tried it already. All i can say is this a game changer for me instead of having to move pots and bending over to water by hand i just get a chair sit down and turn tha wand on !! Fixed the issue with siphoning back by cutting line and installing small plastic valve i had kiccking around. Thanks for the heads up on this wand !!!!

ours is pretty old too... Canadian brand.. Claire?? i can't remember what i replaced and what i didn't, it's been extremely reliable. i change out the nozzle and oil filter each year and normally vacuum out the fire box. this year there was nothing to vacuum out, it was pretty freakin clean in there!!!

my issue with it is the bearing blocks and axle for the blower cage. it wobbles and clunks a little more and more each year and i want to replace it before it;s a problem.

looks like it's gonna cost me about $2500 total. and the old one will get repurposed out in my garage. i plan to just run drain oil in it.. free fuel.

How’s the pressure, how quickly does it go through a litre? I’m hoping you’ll still be happy with it in a month.

I’m able to handle the four plants with a watering can but I get spillage here and there and I’ve damaged plants on occasion.

I have 8 plants flowering and eight plants in veg all the time. The wand has three speeds im running it at the lowest speed with the 6 hole nozzle and it pumps out 1 litre per minute.

i tried sitting down last night to water.. it felt wrong.. like i was cheating on my plants or something.. haha

i'm intrigued by the double headed nozzle, i don't have that one!!! the lower speed would be nice to have. i remember when i first got it i tried the mist nozzle out for my seedlings. i almost blew them right out of the pots it was so strong!!

this current round is the first time i used a nozzle, before this i just left it off and let it pump full flow. it was too much flow for the airpots so i put on the sprinkler.. i kinda like it better this way after using it more.

it is king for watering around the outside of the pots ain't it? just rest that angle part on the edge and ride the rim in a circle!!!

I timed it at low speed just to get an idea of the output. So with the ecowitt soil sensers to get to my happy place of 65 percent soil moisture in 3 gallon pots its a matter of 2 minutes per pot. No more going back and forth with 1 litre watering container mix up 5 gallon pail of nutes throw in siphon hose and sit back and let the wand do the walking.

i do the timing thing as well. i'm goofy so i normally sing a song in my head over and over to get the same amount. the timing method works awesome for feedings.. like ya say one bucket O' tea versus filling a sprinkling can multiple times.

the ecowitt has pretty much changed my life and i swear it's making me look better as a grower than what i really am.

i saw a bald eagle in my town today!!!! i've seen them nearby but never in H town!! ... i was kinda star struck for a moment. i was like is that a.... yep thats an eagle!!! swooped down about twenty feet away and grabbed a snack from the center of the road and flew up to a tree!!!

.
.

just starting week five since seeds and i removed the two smaller plants and topped the ten left. i need to remove one more yet but i'm just not sure which one..

size wise would tell me to ditch the skunk in the middle.. this has more to it than ditching a plant though, the one i remove will most likely become the mother for my next hydro run..

so like said size wise would be the skunk.. but would you guys ditch a nine blade skunk?

thanks for lookin in everybody!!! have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
