All looks well on my end! Playing around with some things so it's kinda like when my wife rearranges the spice cabinet. I know it's all still there, just have to look on another shelf or behind something else

You got me going down memory lane with the prize vault. Most of that stuff was just a shopping list I had on amazon along with a few other things here ready to ship. Seeds were illegal to send back then so the biggest request was always the set of bubble bags. pH pen was well liked and I had shit like a year sub to High Times somebody picked once. 4oz Jars of Great White were also a hit.
The thing was to keep value at around $30 for each item. It gave some good value but also low enough to deter cheaters. You start giving away shit like lights and people will cheat.
Make it very noob friendly and even tilt it toward them so prizes that help noobs are always a hit.
We also ran it way different with self entered pics and other entries. The THCFarmer model is made for sponsored growers to basically circle jerk each other into prizes and promote a sponsor and persuade the community into using that product. Self entered allowed people to pick their own entry and all you have to do is add some sort of rule like a handwritten date stamp or something. 10 post minimum to enter and let it rip. Bud porn galore.
I would also mix it up and one of my faves were the essay contests. I felt like they built good culture and promoted respect between growers.
It needs traffic though and IDK if the update will help but the site needs to come up on common google searches like "marijuana forum" "grow marijuana" etc, something like that in the header so the site is an option on the list of grow forums. Once there then the traffic comes and gets more people to enter contests.
Right now it's missing so if it was named BudBuilders Marijuana Growing it might come up there. I think you have the bots and everything to aid the searches but they just need to know to direct marijuana and cannabis searches here.
Don't mean to step on toes or anything and tell you how to raise this baby but you got me thinking about those old times.

Only then, Instagram was moving in on forums and taking all the eyes looking for bud porn.
Then forums were just mostly info but now info is available thru AI and people are even using AI to reply so the niche of the grow forum gets smaller and smaller and less human. The AI reliant growers on reddit concern me man.
Back then I think my biggest headaches were contest cheaters and commercial growers with fragile egos and tons of small dick energy lol. Good times though

Yeah, this site is pretty much really low key. Like the only way to find it is if someone tells you about it from another site. From what I gather, that was the initial intention. But if that direction has changed, Bandit420 's idea wouldn't hurt. I personally liked how low key it was, but it seems to have dropped down to a whisper from a ghost. That said, I don't see myself going elsewhere anytime soon. The community and knowledge here is still a valuable asset to aid me into furthering distancing myself from being a noob(still a noob lol.)

i've been messing with it a lot today.. i've seen things i've never seen before!! hahahaha nah it's been cool, just fumbling around trying this and that..

i've thought about different kinds of contests and things, Steam suggests that i host them maybe every other month. but you're 100% man, it's not the participation thats down it's the amount of members.
i'm really not sure what to do just yet for contests but i guess i need to figure something out. back then we had a lot of activity and members to keep things moving faster and staff has said for a long time that we need more people not better contests. this was back when fundraisers were happening and ideas on how to keep them going when they were losing traction. the answer... more traffic!!!

it will push me into areas i never ventured before but from what i understand there is a lot i could do to get our content more visible. i know if you google stoneyluv this place shows up!!!! hahaha

this site was built to make money. it was a model to charge money to give grow advice. it never panned out and all the gurus wanting this have left. it sucks that Moe built this place and then didn't want anything to do with it anymore. who knows where it takes us.. for now its a fun hobby!!!

as far as the exposure i think there are a few things i can simple modify and turn on to get our site map out to the world and even our selected content and our best threads. there are also forms for SEO's and







so i kinda need to learn how to deal with all this and figure out how to make us more visible. downside is with more people comes more drama i just hope a couple good ones are peppered in with the ciaos.

i could use help with some of this if anybody happens to know anything about it.

man i've been so lazy with updating the hydro thread... the table looks ugly with all the burn.. i've just been milking them out the best i can, the ppms have been so ridiculously low... anything over 400ppms sends my ph way down and then the doser sends a lot of ph up in it.. so i have just been keeping the ppms low and limping them by so it doesn't end up being a total waste..

i've just been milking them out the best i can, the ppms have been so ridiculously low... anything over 400ppms sends my ph way down and then the doser sends a lot of ph up in it.. so i have just been keeping the ppms low and limping them by so it doesn't end up being a total waste..

Nice!! The buckets r the 8gal ones? I dunno, I don't have any previous experience w anything else besides a dwc bucket, but I think the fallponics is a good setup. Did u use their bulkheads or grab different ones? I may have to re-plumb the return pvc pipes once I get into a house as I'm considering ditching the tent and grow in a room. If i did such, I want those buckets further apart and possibly try to grow some 6-7 foot trees

I'd like to think I'm capable of understanding all of that, just would have to brush up on a few things and Google the shit out of it lol I'm sure u r more than capable of doing such urself as well I went through a college program for the foundation of being an IT person like 20+ yrs ago which also included some html, vb, and other shit. I also was doing some self training w programming w the aid of my raspberry that fell to the wayside a bit. Just saying, I think I could fall down that rabbit hole and be enthusiastic about it. There's probably ppl here that r more educated in it than I. Feel free to pm me about it if the inclination arises.

i remember reading you post about that.. i'm like wow somebody else is experiencing something that i am.. theres a first!!

part of my issue is i can't see the roots once my table is in place, the way these bucket lids are i can only lift one about two inches on one side. it sucks and i can't wait for these new lids with the split sides.

Smoke would keep his ppms at exactly what the plants used each day. he always said he was neither sterile nor live but the fact is he was live and just didn't need bennies added.
i'd really kike to try his tech some time.. after i know i issues are gone.

another thing that has been in the back of my mind is what if my jar of great white is actually bunk?? i have no way of testing that i know of.
this first new run i do i'm gionna get a brand new bottle of orca, might even buy it right from PR and not amazon shelves. my first run i had root rot and coudn't see it in the buckets at the time till harvest.. i'm almost sure i'll see it again in the middle of the twister roots. we'll all know soon enough when i harvest!!!!!!

yes sir, the eight gallon.. i was tempted to go big boys but in the back of my mind i keep thinking what if this problem is both of my water sources?? then i will be forced to spend another 3-4 hundred and have to waste water on top of it!!! wear and tear on my personal well pump and bladder tank.. to go RO is all negative sides but one so before i do that i wanna make sure with this new clean system with no funny sealants or adhesives. so if it ends up really being my water which i seriously doubt then i wanted to keep the overall volume down to a minimum. and to be honest my complaint has never been my plants are too small and need more root room.. people stuff their buckets to the shape and don't have my issue!! i'm backing everything on black man!! all my hopes are in the new clean plastic with no questionable compounds.

for almost a month now i have been topping with just plain water at zero ppms.. my rez was changed out at 380.. i have not given the top off a single nutrient and about 10-15 gallons has been sucked up... and right now my rez is at 580ppm!!! what the fuck man!!!! like how to plants put that much back into the water,, could this ppm rize really be some evil shit in my sealants or system that is poisoning the water?

i swear my top off has been zero... look i use floranova nutes and mr fulvic that stuff stains bad and my white top off barrel is squeaky clean it's had so much fresh water go into it here in the past few weeks.. maybe not a full month but very close to it..

just perplexed...

looking forward to taking the old system out, cleaning, and a fresh new install!! IF and this is a big if, but if the new system works and it was my diy this whole time i will probably have some sort of rage room action on the old system... on video of course!!!!

hehe yep, that about where i would start.. actually i'm gonna start at forums. both the company we pay for our software and th place we buy the skins from both have a very large community on their own forums within the site. the past few weeks everything i have learned has come from there. i haven't had the need to ask a question just search others that have to find problems but i would have no problem reaching out there for help.

and yes make no mistake about this i am not trained in any way, everything i know is self taught! don't worry all our security and content and data stuff is in the hands of much more capable people than me!!!! hehe

I'll always [refer a more low key site as well. Big forums make me feel like I need a shower. Seems like each one has a grift behind it and the forum is more or less an interactive customer support and persuasion system.

Truck race was freaking awesome!!! Something about the intermediates do make for more thrilling races and Hocevar was way better this celebration.

It is weird how if you know what you're looking for, this site shows up like a neon marquee!
I keep going back to that old site and what was done..This was a Roseman tactic and it was brilliant IMO.
A sub forum like the question forum here is created but make the title marijuana forward so instead of just questions, it questions about all things marijuana. I think ours was new marijuana grower questions.
Within the subforum he'd create threads with general titles that would be picked up in Googles searches. Titles like How to grow marijuana in hydroponics...How to grow marijuana in a tent...in a closet. etc.
He filled those threads by copy and pasting open source info from the internet about those topics. You have enough experience to know what's bullshit and what's legit and really all you need is basic fundamental type info to fill in.
However in the first paragraph of the copy and paste, he would add in a general friendly welcome with a link to intro and grow diaries and a list of staff to help if they need site help.
Those thread titles and info brought in people who were searching grow info and kinda took advantage of the bots without paying for it.
Also add marijuana or cannabis to everything you can. Like the Smoke Reports subforum..change it to marijuana or cannabis smoke reports. You'll see all over the board where maybe something was done in haste and just needs to be cleaned up or fine tuned to be cannabis-centric for general google searches to pick it up.
Rosee used it to persuade people into bubbleponics and shop at Stealth Hydro but the rest of us were using it to help people in all mediums and it worked. We would get the occasional asshat for sure and for the most part it was a lurker nation but there seemed to always be around 50-150 active and yeah that could get a good contest or grow off going with that many posters

Another draft and another year not picking any Longhorns.
FWIW we didn't put much out anyways, just a few meat and potato guys in the middle rounds. Next year though..maybe #1 and #2 overall are Longhorns. Cam Coleman could sure help your new QB. He's a freak of a WR we picked up in free agency from Auburn. Randy Moss starter kit and is NFL ready.

It's roots have traveled over 16" into the unused site and those r as white as can b. What screams out to me about ur currwnt system, is the word sealants... that sounds alarms in my head. Does the water or plants have any contact w these areas? If so, I imagine that can't b good. Yeah, I imagine ur bucket size has nothing to do with that, but I believe the more room for roots, the happier they will b and the happier the plant will b. I imagine 8gal is pretty sufficient. And yeah, my last grow, the roots filled their buckets and were still happy, too bad they were herms cuz I didn't sterilize the fans and stuff inside the tent after I had herms the time b4... oops

sealants,, where my list?? you're gonna lose little respect for me after reading this list.. and yes, my new setup is using the current culture bulkheads that PAhydro sells. i printed my own long handled wrench on my 3d printer.

no flexseal
no ptfe teflon goop
no sunlight proof PVC that i recently found out contains titanium dioxide in it.
no clear airlines
no buna-n rubber weather stripping

also got a chance to start my veggie garden for the summer. some people have a zen garden, helps them relax, center themselves.. well i'm having a garden by zen... Zen Seeker that is!!!!!! hehe

I did manage to put a second layer of soil over the outdoor gardens. That’s as far as that can go without adding sides to contain it. I’ve removed screws from some reclaimed lumber and have a bunch ready to make the retaining walls for one plot so far.

I like your climbing cage for the vines/cucumbers. I’ve been wondering what to use now that they will be at ground level this year. Still chewing on that one.

Shit happens though man. Way rougher season so far for both our guys I doubt either of us thought would be happening.
Nobody got it worse than Logano though. I think the 41 had to just keep going, he missed his box, then the 22 clipped and it was over for both but I think Custer really brain farted there.
Busch has been going after the young drivers this year for some reason. He's wrecked Herbst a couple times, Zillich, and I think Smith too just being a dick. Almost like it's bullying or something and these cars and shit's too expensive for that crap. Kids' have enough to learn without having to watch out for the butthurt washout with road rage getting them. He won't do it to a Hendricks driver because he knows Mr H will have his ass no matter who he's driving for. It's chicken shit, literal Busch league stuff he's doing.
I was kinda half way cheering for him to get a last win before the curtain falls but man it's hard and just kinda want him to fuck off now after yesterday.

EDIT: Isaiah Bond is the guy you're thinking of. He's a Cleveland Brown today and barley hanging on there. Has to stay spotless clean due to legal issues and can be a head case. Has a lifet time illness he's off and on about taking care of too so that's how a 1st round talent goes undrafted and ends up in Cleveland for league minimum.

the 19 and 5 getting tangled that was just a shitty deal is all.. nobody could have ever predicted that.. you guys were on a 2 tire stop and we came in for just a splash n go.. that split second difference just caused the run in. larson was running bad from the start, had no rear grip at all and the front tires were digging in going into three of the four corners so he was terrible even before they collided. just so hard to make up any track position there.

ya know you would think with the 8 having his son just starting out in racing he'd be a better example. like he just gets saltier as he gets older. i'm kinda surprised gibbs hasn't taken a swing at him yet.

The NFL is always looking for the next best thing and everything at Texas right now has the NFL hot for it. Even the NY Jets took our All Gas No Brakes motto from us last season. Jets have also loaded up on Texas players and staffers similar to what's started in Miami and has been happening in Denver.

Feeling kinda lucky since I haven't planted anything but still have a garden of veggies that have comes back for another year and it seems the birds have done a real good job pooping sunflower seeds everywhere so they're growing like crazy.

Every year I tell myself I'll go to the F1 race at COTA but every year I chicken out.
If Costco is selling the GA pass it can be a decent deal but that's a gauntlet of getting up early to be at the track before 6am along with 150K other people doing the same thing if I want a decent view of the track.
Maybe 2027 will be the year, who knows!

this is just crazy to think about how little time you really get to make things gel!!! also crazy on how many kids leave early. back in the day it was a special thing for somebody to come out junior year. i noticed the new raiders QB came out early. so these guys don't even graduate?? i guess what does it matter anyway their toughest classes are prolly basket weaving 101 or general breathing as a major.

that actually makes me happy to hear there is some sort of ramp up to it. it seemed like some guys really struggled with that in past. all school school school, no finance allowed and then bam here enough for five houses!! guys lost so much money at times. building restaurants and other ventures that just lost money. i think it should be manditory that these high end athletes should have to major in business or finance of some style.

There's good and bad to it...players should get a piece of the financial pie but it also turns them into employees first and student second. That's a Pandora's box of debate on it's own. Kids that young with that much money is another Pandoras Box of good and bad.
The transfer portal in college is free agency with a different name. But there's no salary cap right now and that's how a team like Indiana gets that QB and wins a title.
Mendoza wasn't homegrown at IU. He was hired by Mark Cuban, IU alum, away from Cal to come play at IU. In a nutshell, that's college sports today.
There are still some who value college but man...let this sink in...top end high school athletes have agents now. High school kids negotiating deals like they're Roger Staubach or some shit. Why I tell anybody with a kid, get that kid into sports! Some of these guys are leaving college millionaires already. Freakin Texas Tech is paying a softball pitcher 1 mil per season! Just crazy money.

just to test and try to get the blend right i have been using this whole melt stuff.. its cheap and has a decent starting base to it and has some fake terps added in... this one is honeybuns and has a mellow flavor and won't ruin the cart. but once i get the blend right i plan to use the good stuff!!!! the good stuff is just dryer and uses a little more blend in it but it's a very slight adjustment.

the price yes, the viscosity no... if i add a large amount of the alpha bis+ it kinda works better but still not thin enough, once it cools it remains gel.. it's a loose gel though so i know we're close man... but you can see when it cools it goes back to the translucent look and the one on the right is the store bought stuff you can see it stays transparent and liquid.

so i think i needs the alpha biz+ and maybe one or two others added in, they all have a slight flavor but mixed together i'm hoping they compliment each other.

i tried the fake terps i have and they just overpowered the flavor so much i didn't even care if it worked i couldn't use it. when i added those 100% cannabin terps we were talking about in private it seems to work much better but again the flavor was so overpowering when i would add anything more than 4%.

so all TEC, with 4-5% of biz+ is about all i can add before it starts to affect the flavor. i need to find another popular liquefier to maybe add another 2-3% maybe.. just a guess but i know its right on the edge of not gelling so it won't need much.

for some reason ocimene comes to mind... i can't remember if that was maybe one of the other popular ones?

yeah, nothing else added. k4l had a big sale and they left me double stack add on coupons so i ended up getting it 65% off... also grabbed more of the enzymes because i noticed theirs was better than the liquid stuff i had been buying. i ended up paying less for 4oz of it than i did for 1oz on sale a couple months before so i said why not!!!!!



really digging it man!!! i have one issue with mine and that the beeper only works when it wants to. sometimes it beeps and sometimes it just clicks. i'm pretty sure it's just the beeper itself so i'm not gonna try to send it back over that. i'm sure at some point i'll be taking it apart and i'll just fix it myself.

but i blame that one on the beeper mfg not ispire. i mean if they tested it, it might have worked so i'm letting it slide.

i have no other complaints really at all. it's not a sipper, or a lightweights device. if you want a watered down dispenso grade then go for puffco. if you want a tear it up with huge hits that knock your socks off then go for the ispire.

with it having almost zero air restriction it almost hits like a big bong.

one thing i really like having is that removable cup like that. instead of bending over the device or holding it in my hand like the puffco we can take that cup out and clean it close up and also load it up really easy the same way. it has a little more of a "ritual" to it versus the puffco but i don't mind the extra time to assemble and clean.

and it cleans pretty easy too.. i only cleaned the topper once so far but every day i have been just wiping out the chamber and swabbing the tube and that seems to keep it pretty clean.

i have no problem with this whatsoever.. i think maybe those heavy complaints were coming from the first setup that was three piece i'm not sure. but i noticed most all negative comments were about the air leaks.. i just don't have any leaks. maybe because i hit it enough times that the bottom of the cup gets a little sticky?? but even brand new out da box i had no problems. when i put my finger over the carb cap i can barely make it bubble so it's not leaking air. maybe since i had bad luck on the beeper i had good luck on the glass match up.. i'm a libra ya know scales, ying n yang i'm all about that stuff in my life!! hehe



i agree, i got the replacement glass today and you're right the plain glass just doesn't pop as much!!

and it sucks that other piece doesn't come with the silicon. i think you're right we're gonna have to make our own.. we can print a mold and then pour the mix... i wanna make one with horns!!!!

i really do like having that silicon on that bowl piece though, i pull that out and swab it when it's still hot so the rubber keeps me from burning my fingers.



i think you're right, nobody is gonna make any more parts and whats out there is all there is.. that is the one dent in the whole thing as far as i'm concerned. i'm just hoping i don't break it and it should last a long time!!

i didn't order a back up carb cap yet, been working on a custom jobby for it.. i found that using a piece with a hole half the size adds more turbulence in the heat cup and makes even bigger hits!!!!

been working on using a nectar collector tip and it lets it sit a little lower in that cup and even printed a yellow adapter that the color matches pretty dang good!!! i have extras of those tips so once i perfect it i'll send ya one for yours!!!

yeah thats a brand new world there. i mean it would happen before just on the down low and shady AF.. hear stories of buying houses for kids but had to keep it in other peoples names i guess this new way brings new sets of evils..

still bad tasting by time i put enough in to not gel. i've decided my next try will be with TEC and add in the ganja derived terps and see if that alone keeps it from gel. if it's gonna have to taste like something at least it would taste like weed. who knows what it would be like i never tried it. but maybe the terps and just a splash of the alpha and a splash of the cbc... if i could just get something that doesn't gel with neutral taste. that is the entire goal! i need a completely flavorless terpene, and i'm not sure that exists..

i'll give the TEC and terp sauce a try. it will be tough to measure in a small amount so i'll overkill the amount of terp and see how bad it is, when i first gt that stuff my buddy said yeah you can put this straight in your carts.. i tried and it most killed me on the inhale.. the diamond fairy knows some stuff but for the most part he's an idiot. this was one of those times. he'll say anything sometimes to get you to like what he is saying.. i'll try diluting it way down with just the TEC to start and see what happens.. i know we said to try this way back when we first started but i was hoping with some research we could find a flavorless one.

i'll try soon though. normally you whisper in my ear and i try it right away and then fail and hate bringing bad news,, believe me the one that works you'll know.. i'll be sceaming recola from the mountain tops!!!
