I didn’t smoke back then and wondered what she was growing in her yard.pig pot?!?! hahah thats a funny name!!! fitting!!! hehe
I yanked the motor from my old Frankenmower. Thought the kids could use it or I’d find a use. Seems kids don’t want things like that anymore and I never got around to using it. I’ve got a few Briggs & Stratton engines. Sears used them.i mowed the front yard for the first time this year.. burned up the ricky bobby machine!! i think i toasted the motor.. it stopped very abruptly and i cant crank the engine. dun dun dun.. it had oil in it.. idk.. it's a 2000 i think... maybe an 01... i bought it as a left over/showroom model. got a solid 25 years of mowing from the motor. deck is still in great shape. so is the rest of it for the most part.. i have another motor in a mower a friend gave me years ago. the mower itself is garbage but the briggs motor is the same one..
Should be easy if the bolt holes line up on the deck. Just watch the blade is the same hight/position. Not sure if you need a hoist but it does act like a second set of hands.doesn't look that hard to swap out.. i have a hoist in my garage so it "should" go smooth.. i might have to ring vicky vallencourt if things get crazy!!!
Nice. I was considering adding some of the mykos and azos to the veggies but it’s to pricey. The rest I’ve already applied. I also charged the soil with JMS. Just left a 5 gallon bucket sitting with old forest soil and blended potatoes in a net in the sun. Hope it gets these veggies off to a good start.no roots yet... patiently waiting.. tops look great yet and just starting to show yellowing on the very tips. stem texture looks great too.. just waiting.
went all in on a jar of big foot....

Since I started working the soil my wife’s been adding a few new plants to the ones waiting in the basement kitchen.

Two different tomatoes which are both beefsteak just by different names and a sickly set of corn called obsession, which looks like peaches and cream.
It’s not cheating so much as making up time. Just save seeds from the ones you like. Make sure to let them sit in the juices for a week before drying for later use.
