Taking my wife out to see these two legends tonight;roc

Heck, yeah! I always associate Joan Jett & the Blackhearts with roller skating. "I love Rock 'n' Roll" split time dominating the juke box with J. Geils Band's "Centerfold" at the skating rink when I was around 11-12.

Billy Idol is a legend and a survivor. Young adult me will be forever grateful to him for bringing us the girl in the "Cradle of Love", vid. The chorus everyone used to yell when "Mony Mony" was covered by a bar band was fun, too. I assume they do that at his shows, but I haven't seen him perform.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts 7" I love rock n roll ep was the very first vinyl record I owned in life. I've had it on 7", then the full 12" album then the cassette, CD, and now digital. That and her cover of Crimson and Clover are lifeblood songs.

She's the main draw for us. Saw her several year ago at a rodeo of all places and she was just as good as she was 40 years ago.
Billy Idol is just a legend and yeah that Cradle of Love video made MTV watchable in the early 90s. I think I have most if not all his hits on digital. Maybe Eyes without a Face is the only one I'm missing.
I'm sure we'll be dancing all night long!

The tour opened on Wednesday in Phoenix then the second show was last night in Houston. We're the 3rd show of the tour so pretty excited we're catching them early. Read some great reviews coming out of Phoenix and getting super excited now!
